Xi Ana felt refreshed after showering. She sat down in front of her vanity table and dried her hair. Even before her trip to City M Lim Yi Sheng and her has been quite busy these past few weeks that's why the time they were both at home can actually be counted by fingers.

Now that she is alone here, she can't help but miss the person himself. After drying her hair she picked up her phone and dialed her husband's number but instead of hearing the usual ringing sound she was answered by an automated response.

"His phone is off?" she muttered silently.

It is very unusual for her husband's phone to be off at this time considering the time difference and the only time he would turn his phone off is when he's on the plane but as far as she can remember his flight is still scheduled for tomorrow.

She didn't give it much of a thought since he might just be a little bit busy and Lu Nai He is also with him so she knew that if in case there is something that happened there would be someone who would contact her immediately.

The next day, she made sure that her whole day's time will used well since there are so many things that needs to be handled. During her stay in City M she still handled matters of her company but mostly the bigger projects and so she really needed to catch up with these loads of works.

"President, is it really okay with this? You just got back and your schedule for today is already full." Hannah inquired with worried look while thinking that her boss is really a workaholic person.

"It's alright, it's not like I have something else to do anyway. Furthermore, you worry too much Hannah I may be away for a more than a week but what I did isn't something like marathon that would make me really tired."

Hannah has been working for her since she started working in Xi Corporation and she has always been a worrywart but even so, she is good at what she does, she can work efficiently and finish every task she was given without any problems.

At first, Xi Ana was not used to having someone around most of the time and her personality towards her was more like aloof and cold. This was because when she was overseas with the others, all her schedules and activities were managed by her alone and that has become a habit.

"By the way President, Young Master Chen was asking if you could make some time for him today? He wanted to eat lunch with you."

Xi Ana creased her forehead, "Why would he ask you that instead of asking me?"

"That I do not know of, Young Master didn't say anything more than that."

"If that is the case then it's fine, you can tell him that I don't have any scheduled lunch meeting for today. Reserve a room in Sushi Deluxe for lunch, tell the manager that it is me. Is his schedule free?"

She can't remember when was the last time she had a meal with her brother and since he loves eating sushi in that place she would, of course happily spoil him. The place was a little bit hard to reserve from but not harder than Imperial Restaurant.

Xi Ana knew that Xi Chen has been working hard these past few months and his progress is also looking great this meal would be her reward for him.

"Noted, President. Also, I don't think he has an important meeting for today. I will inform Young Master right away about your arrangements."

"Don't tell him about the place, just inform him that we will have a meal."

Doing this from time to time would make that little brother of her happy, she thought.

"President, Gao Bei Cheng also asked if he could have an audience with you today. He's from the Planning Department. I don't know about the detail but it seems like he wanted to consult you about something."

The last time she talked with Gao Bei Cheng was a few weeks ago before she went to City M and that matter with the Fang Family was just over, it seems like he was quite concerned about her trip there.

"Gao Bei Cheng? Alright, just tell him to enter when you go out."

"I understand, President." Hannah left the room even though she is reluctant to do so.

Xi Ana stopped what she is doing for a while and looked at the exiting Hannah. She knew that Hannah wanted to ask more about the deal with this Gao Bei Cheng and she just held it in but even if it's like that she is not obligated to answer anyway.

She continued her work for a while before the person who's asking to meet her entered her office.

"President."

Her eyes never left the doc.u.ments in her hand but she can feel that Gao Bei Cheng is feeling anxious at the moment.

"If you have something you want to say then speak, don't try and beat around the bush. Just so you know, I still have a lot of things to do."

"I just wanna ask about my sister? I heard you visited her during this time."

She indeed took some time to visit his little sister since she was already there.That girl didn't do anything wrong, her brother might be guilty because he agreed with being a spy for the Fang Family but she was just a collateral damage.

Gao Bei Cheng's sister is very lively and when Xi Ana saw that she was somehow reminded her of her childhood days because it was the polar opposite of what she used to be.

"Don't worry, the nanny I hired is skilled. She may be a nanny on the surface but she is actually her body guard."

"President, I know that I don't deserve to receive this kind of kindness from you despite what I did but still, thank you very much."

"You are not indeed, but your sister is. She has nothing to do with what you have done and so don't think that I'm protecting her because of you, I just don't want her to be involved with this. We've already taken care of the weeds from the Fang Family so don't think of betraying me once again because if you do you should know that I will not spare you anymore."

This is the only chance she will give him it is up to him whether he will waste it or not.
