Since he knew that Xi Ana would still be waiting on the phone he tried to finish showering as fast as he could. When he's done, he went out and picked up his phone upon seeing that the call is still connected his heart feel warmed.

Not being able to contact Xi Ana the whole day made him realize that he could really be clonfy to this extent. 

"Still awake?" he sat down on the bed while drying his hair with a towel with his free hand.

It's rare that his wife is doing something like this so he knew that there must be something she wanted to say as for what it could be, he only has an idea but it may not exactly be correct.

"Do you have something you want to talk about?" he tried to initiate the topic but it doesn't mean he would force her to speak.

"Did something happen today?"

This matter shouldn't really concern him if it was a normal day but his instincts tell him that Xi Ana and her friends are somehow connected to this it's just he wasn't sure what is that 'connection' itself.

They may have been married for more than half a year now but it does not change the fact that they also have known each other at the same amount of time. Their personalities and past experiences unconsciously limits their feelings for one another.

"Don't you think you're being too considerate of me. You know that I'm keeping a lot of secrets from you right?"

"Then don't you think that I am not saying those things to you is because I don't trust you enough?"

He thought for a while before answering, "Of course, there are times when I felt like you don't trust me enough and I felt like I have to work hard to gain that. I want to be a person you can rely on. I'm just a man, I get insecure but whenever those times happen I always try to convince myself that maybe it's not about not trusting me but that you have other reasons why you can't tell me those things."

"I don't know how you could say something like that."

"You also know about it right? That there are also some things I don't tell you so who am I to ask for something even I couldn't completely do?"

This is also one of the reasons why until now they haven't gone further into their relationship because they are keeping too much from the other that they are subconsciously holding themselves back.
