In the midst of the blinding lights, Lim Shinyi is standing with confidence in front of all the attendees with the microphone in her hands. Her special visitor has been given a seat a little bit farther than the rest and as he requested, she would not reveal his attendance here.

There was a slight pause before she continued, "Everyone knew how much I like what I'm doing, how much I love acting but I also know that I can't do this forever. I know that eventually I need to stop."

"I want to thank everyone who's been a part of my success in this industry, to my family who let me do what I want, to my staff who've been constantly supporting me all the time and of course to my lovely fans who, despite everything has been there to prove that my decision of pursuing this career was never wrong."

"This is a little bit early of an announcement but I know that it's not a matter of when the announcement will be. In three years, I will retire from acting for those who've been with me, thank you for your support and I hope that you will stay with me until then. Please enjoy the rest of the night."

After all the talking, the banquet officially started.

The news about Lim Shinyi's future retirement in the industry spread like wildfire. People in the upper class find it very normal, they believed that the Lim Family will not let their only princess stay in the entertainment industry much longer than she already have, who would not know how dirty that industry is behind the scenes.

The next day, Lim Yi Sheng is having an early breakfast with his grandfather and mother when they suddenly brought up his wife's name.

"Yi Sheng, when do you plan to do your wedding with Xi Ana? Don't you think its been put off for so long?" Lim Ming Cong asked his grandson.

The husband and wife has been really putting this conversation off for a few times since they are both busy but they knew that they couldn't really avoid it for so long since there are traditions they have to follow.

"Ana and I talked about it before, we will be able to free our schedule by the end of this year and we can hold the wedding after the celebration of New Year next year."

Su Nujiao brightened after hearing her son, "I'll be handling everything, you don't have to worry about anything at all and just focus on your respective works. Stay healthy and if you can manage to give as a grandchild then its much better."

The excitement on his mother's voice made him chuckle, truth be told it's been quite some time now since they registered their marriage although it might not harm them, it will certainly not do them any good.

"I'm sure Ana would love that." he smiled and continued eating.

They talked for a bit more until Lim Shinyi joined them.

"Oho, our little lass is up early today." Lim Min Cong might not say it but what his grand daughter did last night made him really proud.

"Of course Grandpa, I'm meeting a very important person today."

"And who this person might be?"

"Is it Gian Lake? The one your sister-in-law introduced to you?"

"Yes."

"Is this the same person you're telling me about, Yi Sheng?"

"Yes, it's him Grandfather. He's a friend of Ana and from what I heard they go a long way back, I also did a background check and it's good. We can trust him Grandfather." he said reassuringly.

Ever since she was a child she has been spoiled by the whole family, being the only princess of their family gave her a leeway to a lot of things and so they would make sure that everything's right for her.

"If you and Xi Ana vouch for this person then there won't be anything wrong. I believe your judgment. As for you little lady.." he turned to look at his grand daughter.

"Yes, Grandpa?"

"You know well that we've spoiled you ever since but when it comes to the decisions you make such as career we never did interfere nor will we do so. If you will go down this path then all we have to do is to support you."

"Of course Grandpa, I understand and what I did last night was a proof that I will commit to this. I am betting my everything on this."

"That's good then and although I haven't yet grasp the full situation I bet you knew that by meeting this person you are not only representing yourself nor the Lim Family but as well as your sister-in-law."

"I won't do anything to disappoint you, that I can promise."

Hearing those m.a.t.u.r.e words from her mouth made the three very proud that Su Nujiao even teared up.

After a while, a call from Lim Yi Sheng's office came and so he needed to excuse himself as for Lim Shinyi, she decided to hitch a ride from his brother.

The table now only have Lim Min Cong and Su Nujiao.

"Oh my, look at how my daughter is. You really cry easily at everything, Nujiao."

"Father, you know that my only dream is for my children to live happily and seeing that they are going down the right path, as a mother I couldn't be any happier."

"Of course, that is why you don't have to worry about everything. Your children are both grown ups, you can stop worrying about them and do whatever you want. You can go tour around the world, go on a shopping spree, everything. You don't have to be cooped in this mansion just to take care of us."

"I have to father, you've let me stay here and be a mother to my children even though.."
