"It was Grandfather Lim that gave her the position, I have nothing to do with it. She can't go back to America as she was blacklisted there and the Mo Family is on the rocks now so she asked help from Grandfather, if you don't like it I can assign her to a different department." that was the simplest explanation he could come up with, it's not like he wanted to have Mo Chuxia as his secretary as well if it wasn't for his Grandfather he wouldn't even think of it.

"Enough, you don't have to explain anymore. I get it." she said indifferently which made Lim Yi Sheng's heart ache for an unknown reason.

He studied her face and he can clearly see that she meant what she said. "Why?" he asked.

"It's not like you will cheat on me, right?" she has a point but still he can't help but feel as though it was unfair. Whenever he think about how that 'Master An' has always been with her before, how a simple phone call with him can make her laugh genuinely his heart is wailing in pain yet she doesn't even feel an ounce of jealousy.

"Do you even care about me? Even just a little?" he asked with his deep hazel brown eyes full of emotions. Xi Ana recognized the pain in his voice.

"What are you even saying, you're my husband how can I not care about you?" isn't that a given? If she doesn't care about him what for did she agree to this marriage.

"If you really are, how can you not feel even the slightest of jealousy with Mo Chuxia being here? It's as if you don't even care at all! Am I asking for too much? Am I?" his voice cracked while Xi Ana was at loss for words, it's not something she expected to hear. She cares about him and she knew it herself but how can she explain it to him?

She was never good at expressing her emotions and that thing about his ex-fiancee? Though she might say it was totally fine with her, deep within her there was a tinge of irritation and dislike about the set up but she didn't dare show it. Won't it look like she's being too petty about it.

Xi Ana stood up and went to get her coat, "Let's talk some other time. If we continue this conversation now, it might not end well."

Lim Yi Sheng walked towards his table and took the envelope which contains the pictures that were sent to him previously. He walked towards Xi Ana and handed the envelope.

"Do you think I want to feel this way? No, Xi Ana but every time I look at those pictures I can't even explain how it pains me to see them. I want to know you more, I want to make things work between us, I want to make this marriage work so that you won't regret marrying me but whenever I look at those I feel like we're world apart." he didn't even think about concealing is emotions it took him so much time to build up the courage to say this in front of her.

Xi Ana took the envelope and as she took the content she was surprised to see that those were her pictures with An Qi Lu though they were taken few years ago Xi Ana could still remember each and every places in these pictures.

"I wanted to ask you about a lot if things but your walls were so high and unbreachable. I don't know who this Master An is but I know he is important to you… much more important than I am. If it was like that, then why? Just why did you even agree in marrying me?" though these words came out of his mouth he can't help but feel hurt towards everything he said.

"How did you get this?" she inquired with much curiousity although she knew that the only person who could have done this is no other than Han Tu Mo.

"Someone sent it to me." she didn't press on anymore because with Mo Mo's abilities it's no wonder if Lim Yi Sheng wasn't able to track her.

Lim Yi Sheng though that her sudden pause meant that she doesn't want to talk about it and seeing her indifferent expression, he can't help but feel pain and anger at the same time. Is he that insignificant to her that she can't even speak about it "Can we talk some other time? Regarding the meeting. Let's just postpone it, I'll handle the losses." he finally said with a detached voice.

It took him so much courage to say this and right now he's not ready about whatever reply or explanation she could possibly have. What if she wanted a divorce? What if she decided to leave him? Will he be able to take it? Will he be able to live the way he used to before they got married? He's got too many worries, and right now he can't handle any more than this.

Xi Ana surveyed his expression, his face is red and his eyes were sullen and he looked like he doesn't want to hear anything for now so she respected his decision, "Alright."

After her affirmation she walked towards the door but before she could reach it someone opened the door from the outside and Feng Jinnian together with Hannah bowed.

As the two entered the office they immediately felt the heaviness of the atmosphere and as they looked at the facial expressions of their bosses they can already infer that something must have happened between the two. Did they fight?

After pausing for a while, Xi Ana signaled Hannah to follow her "Let's go. The meeting's canceled."

Feng Jinnian and Hannah looked at each other but didn't dare say anything. "I understand, President." and with that they casually walked out of the office. Feng Jinnain knew what to do and proceeded with the cancellation of the preparation for the lunch meeting, it seems like they really had a fight.

In the assistant's mind, it was probably due to Ms. Mo being the CEO's new secretary, after all she is the ex-fiancee but Feng Jinnian knew very well that it is not his place to ask any question. He's just a mere assistant, what rights does he have to probe on their problem, right?

Meanwhile, Xi Ana walked composedly but the aura emanating from her is very strong and you can easily sense that she's not in a good mood. Hannah knew that the intensity of her boss' irritation at the moment exceeded that of when something goes wrong in the company. The gravity of their fight must be really serious, she thought.

She followed Xi Ana without asking questions, less talk less mistake.
