If sending an email won't work despite the offers she had presented then she doesn't have any choice but to visit her personally. Furthermore, the sooner this will be done, the better since she can't do without a competitive assistant with her full blown schedule.

People might think that being an assistant only means that you have to follow your boss everywhere but what they don't know is that being an assistant is more than that.

Even the simple act of arranging the schedule for a boss as busy as her is already an arduous task. On top of that, her assistant should also be well versed in English as it is an international language and most of all the assistant should be able to adapt quickly to the changes around her.

Well, she would just mind this matter in a while for now she should just focus on talking with Wang Xinyi.

"Anyway, before I forget Nanny Gui's flight will be landing at 3pm later so make sure you pick her up on time. Finish your work early so you don't have to go back in the company for today." Xi Ana reminded.

Nanny Gui is actually the person she hired years ago to be her acting guardian when she left for England and she also became the adoptive mother of Wang Xinyi when Xi Ana decided to take her in.

"Nanny Gui is coming back?" Wang Xinyi asked her eyes wide open in surprise which confused Xi Ana a little.

"Yeah, she will be living here with you already since she was done liquidating your assets in England." she confirmed.

Returning the favor has always been a mantra of Xi Ana. Nanny Gui has helped her a lot from when she was still young so of course it is only natural for her to give back those help she had received even though it is in monetary form.

Xi Ana also let Nanny Gui handle a small flower shop business which was quite profitable below the house she had purchased for them so that she won't be too bored whenever Wang Xinyi was in school back then.

To sum it up, three days ago Xi Ana received a call from Nanny Gui and she mentioned that she's done handling the assets so Xi Ana didn't waste any more time and arranged a flight back in the country for her.

"Why all of a sudden?"

"Didn't she tell you?"

"No, I have no idea. I thought Nanny Gui will be coming back to the country at least in a month." Wang Xinyi really doesn't have any idea,

"Well, when she informed me that she already took care of everything she needed to do in England, I immediately arranged everything so she could get a flight as soon as possible. There is no need to let her stay there for a longer period of time."

"Still. Jiejie should have told me! My place is a mess right now and I'm sure that once she sees it for herself she would definitely scold me from sunrise to sunset." the two of them knew that Nanny Gui can really be a nag especially when it comes to the younger one.

Worry suddenly covered Wang Xinyi's small face and this made Xi Ana's mood lighten as she chuckled a little. At least this young lady in front of her still has that innocence befitting her age even though it is rarely shown.

Now she knew that Nanny Gui must must have done it in purpose not to let Wang Xinyi know of her arrival beforehand so she could see her real living condition these past few months.

"That's your problem to deal with. I've already prepared the residence where you will live with Nanny Gui so you can move this weekend, I'll give you a day off so you don't have to worry about anything. I will also hire a few maids to help you out."

Nanny Gui isn't getting any younger so having a few maids to help them out with household chores is much better.

"I understand, Ana Jie. I just really regret I didn't fill my fridge at least." Wang Xinyi sighed as she knew that there is no escaping this anymore. It's not like she can go home right now to clean and do the grocery.

"Also, Nanny Gui will definitely need time to adjust with the time difference and weather so let her rest for today. I'll meet her tomorrow with Lim Yi Sheng over dinner, you too."

"Me as well? I thought our relationship should not be known by others?" It's normal for Wang Xinyi to ask something like this because Xi Ana did say something like that before.

"It's fine, he's my husband so it is alright." ever since she had started to tell Lim Yi Sheng about things only few people know she had also become more comfortable in sharing to him.

"Okay." of her sister thinks so then she naturally won't refute, Wang Xinyi thought.

"I think it's fine to end our conversation with that. Do not forget to go to the HR department about Hannah's resignation and also tell them that they should give to her the highest form of appreciation we can give to our employees."

No matter what her mistakes were, Xi Ana will never deny the fact that Hannah has been a great help for her these past few years and it's not like she is a stingy person who will not give to other person what they truly deserve.

In the afternoon, Xi Ana is as busy as usual inside her office. Wang Xinyi already left for a while now since she still need to consider the travel time from here to the airport.

While busying herself, her phone suddenly rang which made her lose her focus from what she is doing.

She put down her pen and grabbed her phone. When she realized who owns that number, she immediately answered without hesitation.

"What is it Doctor Ling? Did something happen to Aaron? Is he alright?" she asked worriedly. That's right is Doctor Ling.

"Don't worry President Xi what I'm about to tell you right is a piece of good news. Mr. Reiss has finally regained his consciousness a while ago and he was able to answer questions using his eyes which is a tremendous improvement."

Those words almost sounded like a celebration song in her ears and in these past few days this might be the best news she'd ever heard. "Alright, I'll go there right now. Please do explain to me in details."

"I will, President. By the way, please be more cautious when you go here. I will explain later."

Those words may sound a bit suspicious to others but Xi Ana understands why she has to be cautious. The fact that someone wants to claim Aaron's life is still there that is why any news about the status of his recovery are all kept in secret.

Even the other people in the hospital only knew that Aaron is still in a comatose state with no response at all. The lesser people know, the safer Aaron will be.

"Alright."

Upon hanging up, she rushed and arranged the important doc.u.ments on her table and after doing so she went to the Ling Hospital.

President Han was already waiting for her once she had arrived at the parking lot of the hospital and together they used the employees elevator at the back to avoid unnecessary attentions.

"President Xi, I apologize that Young Master can't meet you right now. He was suddenly called in the operating room a while ago due to an emergency, if there are no mishaps then he will be finished in 30 minutes." President Han said apologetically.

"If that is the case then it can't be helped, I'll just wait for him. For now, I will just stay with Aaron so if there is anything important just call me there."

"I understand, president."

After that President Han asked someone to help her with the things she needed to wear before entering the ICU room.

As soon as she entered, Xi Ana sat on the stool near the bed where Aaron is lying down.

In this big world, she knew that there are so many comatose patients with survival rate below 30% just like how Aaron was a few days ago and just few them manage to survive.

She had once had a chance to stay for a few days in a small country in the south, it's not a rich country and even the people living there are only simple people but during that short time Xi Ana managed to see how hard life is especially for those who are less fortunate.

In there, if there is a person in the family who is in a comatose stage, their family members even go to the point where they sell their lands which they use for farming and even go and beg for help from other people just to acc.u.mulate more money.

Xi Ana isn't the type of person who brags about her wealth, but during these circ.u.mstances she is thankful that she has money because if she doesn't have, then what would have happened to Aaron by now?
