"Easy, now it's time for me to prepare for the worse." With the power going out, Darius took out his Halo sword and strapped it to his waist. The sword gave off a white glow from its end sockets where the sword beams would protrude from.

"The rewards aren't anything special but it's better than nothing. But compared to surviving for an hour, that rewards are quite pitiful." Darius shook his head looking at the rewards, he wanted so much more but what could he do?

Darius took out his PPSH and blood drip pistol, he put the pistol in his handgun holder on his waist. He was going to use the PPSH for now, but he needed headshots to ensure a kill on these T-1 Infects. Darius heard footsteps approaching him, it was Alice and Kaplan who had just got done shutting down the Red Queen.

"We're clear, the mission is complete so we can leave now!" Kaplan breathed a sigh of relief and said.

"Where did you get all those weapons from all of a sudden?" Alice looked a bit surprised seeing Darius' weapons and couldn't help but ask. The guy had no weapons before so how did he acquire them now?

"I have my ways, all that matters now is that we get out of here." Darius didn't say anything more and Alice didn't ask anything more, he may have his own little secret that he didn't want to tell.

At this time, in other places in the hive, many silhouettes could be seen approaching and coming out of many doors that had locked recently.

Chamber Room.

"Oh my god! The power went out, we all know what this means, it friggin over!" One of the men from before panicked, drawing the attention of everyone else.

"Someone shut that civilian up! If he compromises our mission in any way then I'll have to use underhanded means!" Rain had been watching this guy for some time now, his jittery movements and over excessive sweating was on her nerves.

"Shut up or I'll shoot you!" JD took out his pistol and aimed it at the man, which shut him immediately. Ahri was also annoyed with this guy, he was going to ruin everything. Everyone had completed the mission without doing anything, really.

"You guys don't underst..." Before he could finish, he was pistol-whipped in the face by JD who didn't bother to listen to this civilian he believed to have gone crazy.

"Ahh!" The man fell to the floor holding his cheek which had turned red. His nose was also bleeding from the hit as well.

"Now stay quiet or else!" JD smirked and gave Rain a nod before walking off! The 16 to 17-year-old girl stayed near Ahri. Suddenly, Rain heard something and began to walk off to where she heard the noise.

Ahri saw this and followed her, the 17-year-old girl also decided to follow. Rain saw a woman in a white lab coat turned the other way.

"Mam, are you alright? You must be a scientist here, we are here to rescue the civilian while we're here so you don't need to worry." Rain started to approach the woman.

"Don't get close to her, she may have something wrong with her!" Ahri immediately stopped Rain's advances.

"What are you talking about, she is a scientist here that should be rescued!" Hearing Rain's voice, many people came over to see what was going on. Once everyone from the elevator saw the woman in the lab coat they were stricken with fear, they had seen resident evil 2002 and knew what she was!

"Goodness, stay away from that bitch, she is infected with a virus!" The crazed man screamed, and as soon as he said that the woman turned around. Her face was distorted and her coloration looked gloomy, her mouth was dripping blood as her eyes were devoid of life.

"AHHHGG!" The woman yelled and began to rush Ahri and Rain who were the closest to her. Ahri sent a kick toward the woman's face, knocking her to the ground and on her back, but she recovered and got back up.

"What the hell is wrong with this woman!?" Rain asked

"Shoot her! She must be infected with a virus!" Ahri didn't try to hide anymore and demanded that she kill this woman. Rain hesitated and took aim with her Mp5, Ahri kept knocking the woman to the ground but she kept getting up to attack.

"Kill her!" The 17-year-old girl hollered, this couldn't go on!

Bang!

With that, Rain fired shots at the woman's body but she once again got up!

"What!? That's impossible!" The bald man was shocked seeing the woman getting shot and still getting up like it was nothing.

"Aim for the head, it's a sure kill!" Hearing what Ahri said, JD took aim and shot the woman in the head, putting her down for good.

"What the hell was wrong with her, she must have been crazed!" Rain looked at everyone and asked. It wasn't their fault that they had to put this civilian down. Before anyone could reply to her, they heard a banging sound. Everyone looked and saw many people approaching them slowly wearing white lab coats with unhealthy complexions.

"Ah!" Everyone's face changed into fear-stricken expressions, it had begun! Ahri took out her magnum and began to fire upon them without warning. She targeted the head for a sure kill, it was the best way to take them down.

"W-What are you doing? They're civilians!" Rain was surprised seeing Ahri who had been quiet going Rambo all of a sudden. Everyone ran over to Ahri and Rain, including the bald man who had been trash-talking for some time now.

"Not anymore, don't let them bite you, they're infected!" Ahri couldn't be bothered to hide the truth anymore, they would find out sooner or later. As Ahri was killing, she received some points per kill, she even received a mission task the minutes she kill an T-1 infected.

Ahri stopped because she had to reload, she had 6 bullets in the chamber and landed ever headshot but more kept coming! Fortunately, she had sleight of hand so her loading speed was swift. "What are you guys doing, we need to get out of here and move to a different location or we'll be overrun!" Ahri continued to shoot as she spoke, everyone was in a daze from fear, typically the newcomers.

At this time, they could hear more gunshots, it was Darius and company shooting Zombies. They were very slow so killing them was no problem, Darius aimed for the head but his heart was beating fast due to nervousness but he kept his cool.

Seeing this, Rain and rest joined to kill the Zombies. Darius ran over to Ahri to check to see if everything was alright. "Everything is good, so far so good actually but they now know about the virus."

Bang!

"It's okay, they were bound to find out soon, as long as we complete our mission then we're good." Darius shot three zombies with his PP-sh after he was done talking. He also got the same mission as Ahri when he killed his first Zombie.

"Ahh! NOOO!" Suddenly, one of the men from the elevator or traveler was bitten by a Zombie that appeared behind him. The others ran away from the man being taken down by the zombies as to not become the next target. They ran over to Ahri and Darius, including the bald man, they were scared out of their wits.

"Give us a damn gun! We're open season with no weapons, what the f.u.c.k!" Darius immediately shot the Zombies in the head that was attacking the man, killing it. Darius ignored the woman who spoke and continued his killing.

JD shot and sprayed his gun, he accidentally shot one of the tanks that started to leak out some gas afterward.

"Watch the tanks, the tanks, watch out!" Alice yelled but her yells were suppressed by gunfire. The tank soon flashed the word Unstable on it in Red letters and after five seconds, it exploded!

Boom!

Zombies were blown away or set ablaze by the explosion. Kaplan got up and rushed towards the elevator to breach it with his hacking means.

Several people coughed as they were blown to the floor by the explosion but there was no time to be laying around.

The 16 to 17-year-old girl walked up to Darius and asked him again for weapon. "I need a weapon or I'll die, give me something for protection!" Darius helped Ahri up and looked at her.

"Make sure you give it back once this is all over!" Darius tossed her his Ppsh and took out his blood drip pistol for himself, he also gave her something to hold ammo.

"Thanks, will do!" The girl was relieved and looked around for any zombies, she then saw that Kaplan was trying to open the elevator. If one were to remember correctly, that wasn't a good idea. Before she could say anything, the bald man complained

"F.u.c.k.i.n.g hell, give me a gun to, I don't want to die here!"

"Huh? Why don't you go find the cameras like you said you would!" Ahri looked at the man with contempt, he was talking so much trash earlier but now he found that he was wrong and now wanted a gun he believed to be fake at first.

"You damned..." The man couldn't finish as he was grabbed by a zombie! "Ah! Get the hell off me! Help!" Darius grinned a shot the zombies in the head, saving the man. Ahri was a little sadden, she wanted this idiot to be bitten in all total honesty.

"Aye! We need to get out of here, we'll be overrun at the rate!" There seemed to be a no end to these Zombies, they kept flooding in like a storm no matter how many they killed... again!

Kaplan was attacked by Zombies which stopped him from opening the elevator. JD took over to open the elevator. "Don't open the elevator, it's flooding with these things!" Darius spoke loudly to JD to warn him.

"How do you know that? This is our best bet out of here and I'm not going to blow it!" JD didn't care and asked Kaplan for the code to open it up. Darius shook his head and said nothing more, he tried to stop him, didn't he?

"The code is $#@%#!" Once Kaplan told him the code he ran over to insert the numbers while everyone else was shooting Zombies. The man who was bitten earlier was extremely bitter that he had been bitten, how could this happen!?

"Good! Very easy!" The elevator opened to reveal an uncountable amount of Zombies. They immediately pulled JD in once they saw him.

Rain ran over to help JD but was stopped by Ahri, it was too late for him. The T-1s pulled him as he was bitten several times by the sea of Zombies. Darius didn't even look back and kept killing the approaching Zombies, he would have to stop to save ammo or else.

"Shut the Elevator!" The nerd boy was standing next to the 17-year-old female and hollered. No one listened and Darius gave Ahri the signal that it was time to go. The 17-year-old female had also acquired the mission from killing some Zombies.

The group didn't need to think about it and followed. At this time, Alice had already freed matt from his bondages. Darius followed behind her, as everyone spoke amongst themselves.

"I don't know what they are but there are a lot of them!" Rain said slowly.

"It's pretty obvious what they are, they used to work here!" Kaplan said

Everyone was heading back to the laser room since it was the only place that had not been overrun and was currently zombie-free.

"When you cut the power, you let them out!" Rain said.

"...." Kaplan looked at Rain and couldn't say anything.

As Darius and Ahri were following Alice they seemed to have lost track of her. "Damn, where did she go so fast?" Once they got to the laser room, the group saw Kaplan and Rain talking, the bodies that were decapitated by the lasers had disappeared.

Elsewhere, in the chamber room, the door to a test tube was forcefully pushed opened and a B.O.W rushed out of the test tube, it was a licker!

"Damn, can you give me a weapon now!?" The bald man asked in a harsh tone, he was scared for his life with no weapon.

"Fresh out! Go ask one of them for a weapon, or you can go look for the camera crew recording this!" Ahri smirked looking at the irritated Bald man who looked scared, she had to be careful. She knew when people were scared they would do anything to ensure their survival. Ahri learned her lesson from last time so she kept a close eye on this guy.

As Kaplan and rest were feeling restless, Darius looked at his mission review.

Dead Heads Part 1- Kill 100 T-1 Virus-infected Zombies! (38/100)

Ahri also reviewed hers and found she had killed 41 Zombies from her last gunfight. If Darius remembered correctly, Alice should be engaging in a fight with those Zombie dogs.

"Oh my god! It bit me, I'm friggin doomed dude, freaking dead!" The middle-aged man felt nothing but dread due to being bitten. The doors were shut so no zombies could enter, the other ways out were being blocked by Zombies except the way they came in.

Suddenly, the door was opened and Rain took aim.

"Wait! It's just us!"

"Shut that door quickly, they're right behind us!" Right as they were about to shut the door, it was met with resistance from the Zombies on the other side. After a struggle for about ten seconds, they manage to shut and seal the door.

Everyone was accounted for except that middle-aged woman from Darius' group. She had gone missing, everyone assumed that she might be dead at this point.

"How about we take this way out?" Alice suggested

"No, that way is blocked by those things, it's a dead-end!" Kaplan shook his head.

"Then we wait, back up will come and get us out of here." Matt looked at everyone and assured that this was the best idea.

"Nope! You know those doors to the mansion on our way down here, right? They shut in just under an hour, and once they do then we'll be trapped down here." Rain locked and loaded her mp5, they had to get out of here or else.

At that moment, every traveler received a notification.

This was the type of mission where one could kill steal to receive the reward. This was a solo mission that couldn't be shared. Only one person could get the rewards for this boss mob.

The 21-year-old or so man started to sweat seeing this mission, he was truly scared now.

"They can't just leave us down here, no one will come to rescue us?" Spencer found it ridiculous that they wouldn't rescue anyone in need.

"Containing the incident is the only fail-safe they had against possible contamination." Hearing what Rain said, Alice looked at the man who had been bitten on the arm. He looked even more hopeless after hearing what Rain had said.

Darius looked Ahri and whispered to her. "Remember, our safety comes first overall, so if we have to leave someone then it's too bad." Darius didn't care, he only cared about his life and Ahri's, they couldn't be minded with anyone else. Ahri nodded, she cared about people but that almost got her killed in World War Z.

"Great, we're trapped half a f.u.c.k.i.n.g mile underground with no reinforcement coming, just great!" Spencer shook his head, he was clearly irritated by this, but who wouldn't be?

The nerd boy looked closely at Darius and noticed the glowing weapon strapped to his belt. The nerd boy was shocked, he knew what it was right away, it was a Halo Sword! Before he could say anything, Alice spoke.

"We'll find a way out!" Alice walked off in a hurry towards the laser room.

"What are you doing?" Rain asked

"Turning the Red Queen back on, she'll know the way out of here!" Alice didn't turn around and kept walking, she didn't want to be trapped here just anyone with common sense. Darius had long saw this coming, he and the rest of the traveler wouldn't be trapped here as they would just warp away once all was completed.

"Well, it looks like we'll be out of here soon. Also, keep an eye on that spencer guy, he's no good!" Darius whispered to Ahri, spencer would soon gain his memories and turn on them. The 21-year-old or so man and the 17-year-old girl stayed next to Ahri and Darius at all times since they knew they were veterans.
