The Boundaries Beyond: Omni Realm's

Darius moved swiftly through the crowd of people, he felt chills just thinking about all these people becoming infected. He had strangely come to this place in his school uniform and his shoes he had left at home, he wondered how they were put on him somehow. Darius soon came across the street where the gun store was located.

"Wow, this gun store is huge, there must be a lot of guns in there!" Darius was amazed, this place was much bigger than the one in his world. Darius also noticed that there was a food supermarket across the street from the gun store. He decided to sit down on the closest bench and think a bit about his current situation.

"Since this is supposed to be world war Z, then my enemies are Infected. The virus from what I could see from the movie should be called the Solanum Virus, these guys are swift and have extremely high senses." Darius was quite worried, these types of infected were quite fast and hard to take down if you didn't aim for the head, this meant their durability was quite high.

"I have to survive for 48 hours, this is simply crazy in itself but I think it possible if I take cover." Then Darius suddenly remembered something that caused him to dread. These particular infected had amazing hearing and could actually smell people that weren't infected. This was a Virus that was discovered near china's Yangtze river. Anyone that was unhealthy and sickly would be ignored by the infected, deeming them as infected like them. This meant anyone who had cancer would be ignored by the infected, it acted as some sort of camouflage.

"I'll have to really get my hand on some guns, I really need to stack up on bullets and all." Darius stared down the gun store, he soon heard a notification in his head.

[The Infectious outbreak will start in 30 minutes!]

"Ugh!" Darius g.r.o.a.n.e.d slighly when he heard the notification. At the last moment, he planned to run into the gun store. Just as he was thinking a contemplating, a familiar figure approached him and tapped his shoulder.

"What the...?" Darius jumped when his shoulder was tapped, he looked over only to see the foreigner that woke up next to in that closed-off room with the cube. "Oh, it's you, why aren't you with the other group of people?" Darius calmed down and asked.

"Sumimasen, sukoshi kowaidesu" The girl bow slightly and said. Darius didn't understand what she said but began to explain as best he could on what he wanted to do, he understood that 2 was obviously better than 1. He didn't want to work with those crazy panic-stricken people that came here with him, he could end up dying with such people.

"I want to rob that gun store over there at the last minute. At the very least, take cover there for a bit." Darius said. The Japanese foreigner looked at Darius in confusion, she apparently couldn't understand him. He sighed and didn't bother with it anymore.

"M..my Namae iss Ahri." The foreigner spoke in broken English but Darius could easily understand her, she basically told him her name. She pointed to her self as she said it so it made it even more clear.

"Hey, Ahri. My name is Darius." Darius stuck his hand out for a handshake, she smiled and shook his hand.

"Dariusu!" She nodded and said.

"Correct, I hope we can survive this predicament we are in since are communication is clearly terrible." Darius felt like things were going to be difficult since he couldn't understand her at all. Ahri nodded as to understand, he was taken aback since she seemed to understand what he said.

Over the course of time, Darius slowly broke down what he wanted to do. He pointed to the gun store and the gun sign, she quickly caught on to what he wanted to do. The movie world war Z was showed in japan so she knew what was to come and knew guns were the best defense against these infected. Soon another notification went off in both their heads, it was the count down warning as usual.

[The Infectious outbreak will start in 3 minutes!]

"Shit! Ahri, let's get to walking. Things are about to get bad really soon!" Darius' heart started to beat fast, he was really nervous right now. Ahir was just as nervous, she was shaking in fear, it could be seen even in her eyes.

Darius got up, he and Ahri were both sitting next to the food store while the gun store was across the street. They both walked slowly across the busy street with groups of people, they had to wait at a red light which almost made Darius pass out from fear. The notification popped up again as the two were crossing the street.

[The Infectious outbreak will start in 30 seconds!]

Darius and Ahri both sprinted towards the gun store once they crossed the street with the large crowd. "Let's wait until the countdown hits zero to walk in." Darius panted and said. Ahri simply nodded and sure enough, the notification popped up one last time.

[The Infectious outbreak has started! Survive for 48 hours! Starting now!]

[48 hours until you have completed the mission!]

Darius and Ahri walked into the gun store right after hearing those notifications. The scene that greeted them was insane. There were guns stacked up on walls, pistol behind the counter hanging up. What caught Ahri eye was a bow and arrows, there were machetes and many other knife-like blades all around, it was literally a weapons paradise.

The man behind the counter noticed Darius and Ahri right away, he was stunned to see kids coming into his store! "Hey, aren't you guys a little too young to be coming around here looking at guns all alone?" The man eyebrows knitted and asked

"We just want to look around and that is all. So, if it's fine with you, is it possible?" Darius asked with a smile, he was really nervous as of now. He didn't know how he was able to squeeze out those words.

"Hmm, Alright, you can only look around. Don't try anything funny or it could spell trouble if you know what I mean!" The glared at the two as he spoke but Darius ignored the glare and nodded his head. Ahri was just so surprised to see so many weapons in one place. She didn't believe that such a place existed in japan since no one could openly carry a gun around there.

Darius and Ahri walked and scanned the guns on display, Ahri spotted a desert eagle.50 on display which caught her attention. "Hmm, I don't know about that one, it has way too much kickback, you should try a 9mm or semi-automatic rifle." The store had auto-firing weapons of all sorts, including HK Mp5. Looking at the weapon, it suddenly flashed white for a second before going out. Ahri and Darius noticed the white glow that glinted on all the weapons.

"What does that mean?" Darius said to himself, then he looked at Ahri and she just shrugged her shoulders. "Alright, we should choose what we want before it completely sta..." Before he could finish, he could hear a huge boom coming from outside, it came from down the street, he also heard many people screaming. The store attendant was looking at magazine when he heard the screams and cars crashing.

"What in the world is going? Was there a car accident?" The man stopped what he was doing and walked outside. He was saw a huge crowd of people running away while some seemed insane as they jumped on people, biting into whatever part they could and moving to the next target. At that moment and huge semi-truck came bursting through the crashed cars hitting multiple infects, the storeman tried to move but was unfortunately hit by the truck, blood splatter across the street and even hit the store windows.

"Oh my God!" Darius was shocked and almost threw up the food he ate earlier. Ahri was shaking from witness such a death and tripped on her own feet. Darius immediately recovered and ran toward the door and pulled down a steel-like barrier think to lock down the store.

Darius looked back at the shocked Ahri and spoke up. "It's time for us to load up are weapons, it has begun!" Ahri came out of her stupor and looked at Darius, she nodded swiftly, and they began to load guns into a gym bag. Darius also helped, he load a bag up with automatic rifles and pistols. They could hear screams and menacing groan coming from outside, once they were done loading up weapons and lots of ammo they walked to the steel like security cover to peak out.

Darius spotted a man running and getting into his H2 hummer but was pulled out of his car and attack by some infected, he screamed for help. Once the Infected was done dumping its infectious load into him, it ran off to the next target which was a guy who ran into an alleyway.

The man that was bitten started to twitch as blood started spewing out of his mouth. He stood up, groaning and screeching. His eye pupils had turned pale white, he then raced off to seek a target to attack. Darius and Ahri were awed seeing this scene, but he soon turned his attention to the h2 hummer that still had the keys in the ignition.

"We'll have to make a run for it and get to that hummer." Both Darius and Ahri had a gun strap on their waist that held two pistols on each side, they were both carrying a bag, he carried the guns while she carried the ammunition. They both had semi-automatic guns in their hands, he carried a Ruger Ar-556 while she carried an HK mp5 submachine gun, this gun was light and suitable for her taste. Of course, they made sure every gun they had was loaded up and ready to go.

"Okay, On 3 we'll rush out to that hummer, make sure you aim for the head if can when any of them rush you, this is a sure kill." Darius warned. Even though he said that, he was quite scared himself. Ahri nodded like a chicken eating grain and waited for the signal.

"3..2...1.. Let's go!" Darius pulled up the steel barrier, he then pushed opened the door and booked it to the hummer with Ahri was right behind.

"Arggggagag!!!" At that moment 5 figures immediately began to rush towards Ahri and Darius. Their eyes were filled with rage and intent to attack and kill, these were clearly the infected! Two other infect were already in the facilitated area and pounced toward Darius without warning.

"Damn, f.u.c.k.i.n.g die!" Darius flexed his Ar-556 and gunned them down, he managed to instantly kill the one behind the first with a headshot but sprayed the one in front c.h.e.s.t full of holes, with so many bullet pumping into it, it fell and died just like that. At that moment, the 5 from early were already coming over at max speed, their scream could cause one to feel shivers down their spine.

"Ahggahaa!" The infected screamed. Darius had to load but couldn't find time to, so all he could do was pulled out his pistol. Ahri who was behind him, open fire on the closes infected, she shot 2 of them in the legs which impaired their movements, they slammed to the ground and started crawling with all their might.

The other 3 infected didn't stop and continued charging toward Darius and Ahri. "Damn, these guys are too damn fast!" Darius Complained. His Ar was hanging around his neck but needed to be reloaded, he used his pistol and took aim, he then shot two off. Darius managed to headshot the first one, causing it to fall to the ground, dying instantly. When the infected he shot fell, it ended up tripping the one behind it, leaving 1 infected rushing at them.

Darius didn't care and both he and Ahri spray the incoming Infected, it was too much to handle for the infect and it died just like that. Ahri then shot the two infect that were scrawling over swiftly, these things were determined to infect anyone with all they had! Darius ran over to the car as Ahri continued to shoot Infected, he threw the bag full of guns into the h2 and proceed to load his ar rifle up.

At this point, the infected that trip was running over, and now it was Ahri turned to run out of ammo, at least she had to load that is. She had no time and wanted to pull out her pistol but it was too late, the infect was right in front of her. Fortunately, Darius was there and shot one-off, headshoting it and killing it, it fell to the ground right next to Ahri feet.

Ahri ran over and wanted to thank Darius but it was no time for that. She threw the Ammo into the car and hopped into the passenger seat, at that moment, two infect came running out of the alleyway. Apparently, that man from early who ran into the alley got caught and infected. There were more infected in the distance but the closes were these two. Darius didn't hesitate and spray the both of them with his rifle, they endured a few shots to the body for some time but after a bit, it was too much for them and they both drop dead.

"Ikou!" Ahri yelled! It didn't take a genius to figure out what that meant in Japanese. Darius hopped into the hummer and started the ignition and drove off. All of sudden multiple infected slammed into the car, ramming their heads into the glass! Darius managed to shake them off with a few zigzags as they flew off the side of the car and slammed into the concrete. He had driven his mom and dad's car before, so he had some experience in driving.

Once they were both in the clear, they both started laughing in joy that they survived that crazy situation. They both worked together and managed to survive such a terrible predicament. Soon they heard multiple notifications go off in both of their heads.

They both saw the notification, they knew what the Attributes meant but what was this C- Rank Token? Ahri also check her status and notice that she got 10 Survival points every time she killed an infected. She couldn't really tell Darius now and wanted him to focus on driving, so she decided to wait until they were really in the clear. Honestly, he probably wouldn't understand her anyway even if she tried to explain.

"Hmm, we don't have much gas, this is going to get annoying again really soon." Darius wanted to drive to downtown NewYork and away from the city area, this would make their chances of survival much higher.
