With this, it was now time to head to the airport to put their little plan into motion. There was very little time left before Darius and Ahri left this world, so they had to move a bit quicker. Of course, Darius wasn't planning to rush things too much or else, things would fail badly, and who wants that? As usual, Steve continued to drive towards the airport. Darius, thinking about the airport, began to recall the people he came into this world with.

"Hmm, I wonder if that guy ever made it to the airport?" He remembered that one of the guys believed this was a joke and decided to go to the airport, it was no telling if he made it or not. Darius went to the bathroom because he had to take a leak. After that was done, he went to the backroom once again, at this time Ahri spoke up.

"Dariusu, time almost up, we leave soon!" Ahri seemed very excited, she was over this world, definitely after being shot in the leg! Darius sat in his chair as he listened to Ahri's comment which he couldn't agree more about.

"Yeah, we're almost done here. Once we get these people to the airport and on that mini plane, we'll just wait it out safely." Darius smiled and said. He was very happy to leave here but they hadn't left yet, so it was best to not let one's guard down, or else.

Ahri nodded and relaxed, she understood what Darius was saying and she wouldn't let her guard down. She tried to be a helpful person last time and it got her shot and nearly killed because of it. Ahri wasn't knocking on helping people but she would tread more carefully when doing so in the future.

The room was silent as time passed. The group was nearly at the airport, Ahri wanted to talk more with Darius but here English wasn't so good, so she said nothing and kept quiet. Darius simply rested his eyes, he was nervous about this plan he had concocted; he was hoping it would work, which it should.

During their trip to the airport, infected became more common and every so often an infected would chase and throw themselves towards the motorhome relentlessly. One of the infected even managed to crack one of the windows with its head. It was becoming quite troublesome but they managed to shake them off from the chase. With the common occurrence of infected people being spotted so often, this confirmed Darius's thoughts from earlier, there had to be way more infected at the airport!

Soon, the group quietly pulled up near the airport. The ground was littered with trash and many broken down cars everywhere. The skies were grey and cloudy which made the place seem eerier. Darius sighed, this was going to be more of a challenge than he initially thought. At this time, Lara had already hooked and set up many things beforehand.

"Perfect, everything is set up just right. I'll use the drone to scout and watch the area around the airport for places we can set up the speakers." Darius grabbed the drone that had a mini camera on it. They could view everything from the TV monitor with this, this was very helpful. Darius only wished that their guns had silencers on them for further safety.

"Okay, me and Sarah will go out, you can talk to us through this walky-talky." Steve said. He had traded out his shotgun for something a little more quiet to defend himself.

"Make sure you both keep them on silent, make sure that they vibrate a little. Once the voice goes through, it should sound like a whisper. But just for precaution, take this earpiece I got from Best Buy." Darius handed Steve an earpiece, sadly, he only found one set of these. Apparently they were out of stock of these or he would have gotten more of them.

Steve nodded and took the earpiece while Darius put one on for himself. Steve carried the speakers and the phone he was going to use as a timer to set off the loud music. The way directly into the airport plane docking area was blocked by a gate long stick post.

Author Note: I don't know what they call those things, but the guard would push a button and the thing would rise up to let cars through. They usually have this set up before going to a different state or gated communities etc.

Once both Sarah and Steve left the motorhome, Darius took the drone outside and began to control it. After all that was done, he went back into the motorhome as he controlled the drone while watching the Tv Monitor. He got a good look at the airport from above and could see that the airport was massive, it was the shape of a sphere, the building had several windows.

Steve and Sarah's goal was to sneak around and set up the two speakers in one place for maximum sound. Darius already let them listen to the music he was going to use, which made them laugh for a bit. At this time, the drone was silently hovering in the air above Steve and Sarah. The drone camera could catch all sudden movements in the area if some were to occur. Darius could see a lot of movement from infected and warned them via earpiece, it was indeed a lot of infected at this airport.

"I hope nothing bad happens, it'll be sad if this girl lost both her parents." Darius wiped the sweat off his forehead. He was watching to monitor while controlling the drone like his life depended on it, he looked obsessed. After all, Steve and Sarah's life depended on this, he was surprised they agreed to go together after what he told them about the infected earlier today.

After walking around like ninjas with great caution, Darius finally spoke up.

"Steve, this place should be good, there is a lot of infected in this particular area. Silently set everything up where you are and come back afterward." Steve said okay and gave the drone a thumbs up before telling Sarah. She nodded as Steve began to set up the speakers and phone, he connected them to the phone and set a timer on it.

This process took roughly 20 minutes to do before they were done. This shouldn't have taken this long but Darius had to warn them to hide several times because some infected were aimlessly walking around and they would sometimes go to their area. Some infected would look up and see the drone but looked away since it only seemed like a bird to them, it was something they couldn't hope to get. The timer was set to roughly 30 minutes before they would go off, they set the speaker up near a truck that was next to the airport.

It was like a maze in this area with so many cars around, and with the drone in the sky to oversee everything, they had no problems. Getting there was easy but getting back was hard, they had run into two infected that they had to take down with knives. Fortunately, there were only two of them and not anymore, or they would have been in trouble. They got back in 20 minutes, this meant that they had less than 10 minutes left before the alarm went off, this was their window of escape.

Steve and Sarah came back, they were breathing deeply with sweat trickling over their faces, they were quite nervous but still persevered through it. "Go, drive right through it and into the airport landing area, go, go!" Darius didn't care at this point and told Steve to drive right on through. Steve did exactly that and broke through the security post. Of course, how could this not attract infected, soon many infected began to pop up, but Darius was still controlling the drone as this was going on.

Steve simply ran the infected over that appeared in front of the motorhome. It didn't take them long to arrive in the plane docking and runway area. There weren't many planes, Darius only saw three huge typical planes you would see at the airport. Eventually, he saw an Alaska seaplane, which might be for the private use of some rich man or woman. He saw this with the drone of course, this thing was truly helpful.

"Good, take a left, the plane should be behind the warehouse after the turn." Darius couldn't help but think that fortune was shining on him a lot, things seem to fall right into place when he needed it most. Sarah was excited and clenched her fist in anticipation, soon the plane came into sight.

It was a red Alaska Seaplane, it looked quite luxurious and clean! This was definitely owned by a rich individual or was just used for lessons, but who knows at this point? "It's so beautiful, I can't wait to drive it out of here!" Sarah had driven some planes before but this one looked the best amongst the ones she had seen. Once the engine started, many infected would be alarmed immediately, this was where the loudspeakers came into play.

Steve stopped the motorhome and looked around to see if the coast was clear. Darius gave him a green light since he was using the drone to look around. The infected from before had given up on chasing the Rv but if they knew that the Rv didn't go so far, they would surely come back for another go.

"How much time do we have left before the alarms go off?" Darius asked

"We have" Steve paused to look at the time and said "4 minutes left!" Steve said seriously.

"Okay, let's go!" Darius handed the controls over to Lara and his earpiece. She was going to be the watcher for now. Sarah, Darius, and Steve got out of the RV to check it out. The first thing Darius told them to do was to check the gas situation. It was just as Darius thought, the gas tank was really low and needed to be filled up.

Fortunately, the airport had its own gas pumping station for airplanes. Sarah dragged over the gas hose and inserted it into the plane. Sarah dragging the gas hose over didn't go unnoticed by some infected in the area and they came running like psychos!

At this moment, the alarm went off. The song, the man in gauze boomed throughout the area. Darius couldn't ask for better timing, he took aim with his gun along with Steve and sprayed the infected dead. These things had good endurance, so if you didn't nail their critical points, they wouldn't stop from gunfire unless you sprayed them. They were warned by Lara inside the RV about the approaching infected at that time, so they knew they were coming.

Sarah continued to fill the tank, then she hopped into the plane and started it. She did this to check the gas and how much they had. With music playing so loudly, this act didn't alert any infected people, but he could hear several infected people running towards the area of the sound, it almost sounded like a stampede! Darius' heart shook, it was that many infected in this area, sweet Jesus!

Fortunately, the plane was working really well. Darius told them the location of the ship they need to goto from what he saw in the movie. Sarah and Steve began to load up the plane. Afterward, the man in gauze had stopped playing and the gunshot sound effect began to play. Darius knew time was running out now, so they had to speed things up!

They loaded laptops, phones, batteries, and many other accessories into the plane, which included food. Darius went to get little Kara who had a sleepy face on and put her into the plane. Soon, Lara came out as well and hopped into the plane next to Kara. She gave Darius the drone controller before that. There was one minute left before the gunshot sound effect would stop, Darius had downloaded the extended version which was 10 minutes long.

"Darius, are you not coming with us?" Sarah asked in shock, she couldn't believe that Darius had refused!

"Nah, I know where I'll go from here, take this GPS device." Darius didn't explain much and handed the device to Sarah.

"I don't know what to say, but I do know that this is all thanks to you, goodbye!" Steve gave Darius a handshake while Sarah gave him a hug as they boarded the plane.

"Thank you, Darius, bye-bye!" Lara said

"This is goodbye!" Darius stepped away as they began to steer the plane. At this point, the gunshot effects had stopped so the plane was loud and clear. The plane drove down the runway as it picked up speed, it eventually took the sky.

"Goodbye, forever!" Darius turned around and saw a horde of infected people running toward his area, they looked like a horde of psychotic Black Friday customers! "Oh shit!" Darius' face changed greatly as he ran to the RV and slammed the door once he was in.

Darius started to the motorhome and began to drive to the way out from which they came. An uncountable amount of infected were pouncing toward the motorhome in a frenzy. Darius knew he had to focus, he had never driven an RV before and with the fact of so many infected around, he had to keep cool as well. He ran over quite the amount of them but suddenly the motorhome got a flat tire!

Darius kept driving and got out of the airport facility area. Many infected were holding onto the motorhome and slamming their heads against the glass! Darius drove sideways to shake them off, which eventually worked. He drove fast away from the airport, but the motorhome was running out of gas soon. Darius kept driving until there were no infected to be found. He parked the motorhome to the side of the road. Darius's heart was beating fast and he laughed to himself nervously, he was out of that crazy situation.

"I'll guess we'll just wait it out here now." Darius walked toward the back, he made sure to cut the RV off as to not draw any attention from the infected.
