"City of Minerva"

I stand outside sitting on a tree stump the guild cut down before I moved in. The air becomes vague, I stare at nature, as it's the beginning of spring. The leaves begin to return, flowers spirit, and the color resources into the world.

Miss Li abruptly enters my gate, she holds two bags of groceries. By her body language and the tired facial expression, it seems she might've walked. I move from the tree stump and she hands me a bag... Of course, I grabbed it but now I have to walk.

We pass stores and Miss Li gazes at them, she constantly glances back at every store or concession stand.

'You know what the name for Athens is right?"

She calmly shook her head no, before asking me she hands me a bar of chocolate, in the attempt of making tell her.

'It's known as the greedy city, we got that name for the ridiculous prices here, and when you look around there's nothing but stores or concession stands. Compared to Minerva getting medicine is around two silver or one nickel but in Athens, it ranges from Four Nickels to One Gold. This is a city where any place else everyone

'Do you want to go and shop, I guess we have some extra time to spend.' Immediately I regret what I said, but before getting the chance to take back my comment she grabs my sleeve. She pull me into a store that sells clothing, browsing their options she finds a green dress and runs into the dressing room.

When she comes back out it perfectly fits her. The waist goes from thin to puffy, something you would see a princess wear. She spins and asks for my thoughts. I gave her my honest thoughts, " it fit her natural curves and represents her eyes."

-Qixia Temple-

We finally arrive at Qixia Temple, we carry two bags each. The temple that once looked like a tree now is just a temple. Before walking up the stairs, the doorknob rattle and the lock begins to twist. Monk Xi Lao was waiting for our return.

'Oh, didn't see you there! anyway, come on in. You must be agitated right now, I asked Monk Li to walk you here. It's the first part of the test, but what I wasn't expecting was her walking there and back.

Anyways I will be placing you under her supervision, she has agreed to train you, watch over you, and must be very strict. Seems may have started a tad bit too early, she made you go shopping with her!

He sends me in a room with nothing but a fan, table, and bookcases. I sit diagonally in from of the furnace, the fan contradicts the furnace. The door opens and Miss Li comes from behind it. She places a stack of books and three scrolls on the table. 'I need you to finish reading this in a week.' she demanded. She disperses from the room, leaving me and books.

「Situation Analyzed. Mission: Read all books within 7 days.」

「New ability: Quick Read, The ability to read anything within seconds of reading.」

I didn't realize that I no longer had "Quick Read"

I begin with the book of Qi. This book will tell me all I need to know about Qi, and how it is used. The moment I opened the book I feel a surge of energy rising within my body.

「Book Analyzed. Information completed. Mission: 1/7」

I quickly found my intelligence stats raising higher, my sense stat also raised by two each. By the time I finish this, I should have gained 14 pts each and my stat level will be ridiculously higher than the others.

Before the new update, the system didn't allow me to raise my level by so much without using skill points.

「Objective Completed: Books Fully recognized. 7/7 successfully read.」

My Intelligence and my sense level raised far beyond my expectations, I thought that because I was still only a Level 1 that the system wouldn't allow me to rise it this high.

Before leaving, I browse the other books about Qi. Wishing to further my knowledge and information on Qi I read them. But nothing new popped up, forcing me to become bored. I instantly leave the room, entering on a private conversation between Monk Xi Lao and Miss Li. I hide, yet I cannot hear them they whisper to low.

「Action Recognized: Enhanced Hearing」

"I can't believe it." Xi Lao said.

"Yeah, his potential is endless, it's like a bottomless pit."

" How much stronger can he become? Just by seeing him I could tell that enormous potential from anywhere. Miss Li, you must train him well, we must not have another failure. He must become it!"

Monk Gusty appears behind me and whispers "what are we doing?" Shocked my body jumped like a fish out of water. His footsteps, breathing, and even scent was invisible. I couldn't sense him at all.

'I wanted to return the books, but I decided to wait here until they finished talking.'

He glances at the books. "Are you telling me you read all these damn books." we walk out of hiding, and their gazes fall upon us. "He's telling me he read all this book guys, look." Monk Gusty begins laughing hysterically.

'System is it okay for me to expose my quick reading?'

「Judgement is yours, just keep my existence out of it.」

I explained my ability to quickly read, Xi Lao, specializes in sensory. meaning that he can catch if I am lying. But in case they make me show my ability to them by giving me three books.
