The Awakening Unknown

China, Area B1

4:10 a.m

Four men are gathered into a small room. Chinese representative Chao Li appears to be one of the men. They sit at a large round table and a room with only two lights representing their presence. "Chao Li, is the plan ready to be started. Chao Li stands with a huge smirk, "of course, how is your wife and kids Chan." He displays a false smile, "They're doing perfectly fine, how are you doing today Chao Li ?" They sit across one another with fake smiles. The room turn heavy with resentment toward one another. "I've been hearing that there's a new S rank." one of the men said. When he stood, He's a tall male with short buzz cut hair and a white tie. Chao Li looks up at him as if he didn't want to speak.

"Yes, his name is Abis Uzun, apparently he even passed Jeong Li's test." Chao Li said.

"Jeong Li, Korea representative," he stood hovering over Chao. Chao looks up at him and told him to sit during the mission. "Or what," he said. Then Chan interrupt the back and forth conversation.

Xiang sit, we shouldn't fight." He turns to Chan and returned to his sit muttering to himself. Once the toxic setting died down they resumed the meeting. 

A female then stands, with scars covering her face it almost distracted you from her beauty. "Chao we are the only S rank in the meeting, so tell me about this Abis," she demanded. "Fine, He's only 19 years old he was originally known as the first Non Soldier to kill a monster. To see how he was able to kill a goblin they made experiment X. They're shocked, eyes widened by the sudden news. "Did you say experiment X." she said with her hands trembling. "And he survived the procedure." Xiang asked. "Yes." Chan took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Chao closes his book and says we will continue this meeting later on. Everyone gathered their papers and leaves the room. 

*Knock Knock*

A female opens the door, she has stacks of paper with her. She appears to be some type of Secretary. "Sir Chao, here are your papers for today." Despite being in China and Chao's secretary; she is american. Long brown hair tied back in a straight ponytail, a moe located on the bottom left side of her cheek, and emerald green eyes. "Thank you, Myn." She smiles then turn around to leave. "Oh master Chao, do you want coffee." "No its okay Myn." He waves his hand at her with a genuine smile as she leaves the room. He placed his right hand over face. He clearly tired.

Athens Zone B

6:30 a.m

I'm currently laying in bed, my body won't move. My eyes tired, I try to close them but I can't. Even though my eyes feel closed I can view the entire room. My body grow heavy, it feels as if I'm slowly falling into nothing. The only thing that connects me to reality is my clock. 6:09 a.m. I try to open my eyes or move legs and arms but it won't budge. When I attempt to open my mouth a intense pain spreads through my body. Sleep Paralysis, this is my first time ever going through it. Suddenly I hear something at my window. *Tap tap* it sounds like tapping on my window. Then I hear a pound thump, my body snaps back and I can move again. When I sit up it appears lighter than I thought, the sun is rising. I wake up during the dawn of the day. When I walk up to the window I find Anja standing outside looking up after my window. I opened my window to find number of rocks sitting there. "Why are you here," I asked. She smiles and asked to come in because she has to ask me something. I agree and walk in to allow her into my home. "Can sit here, I'm bout to go to the washroom. She agreed and sat on my couch. I go to wash my face and brush my teeth. When I return I find her staring at my family picture.

"Aww, y'all was such a cute family!" She turned the picture to me, it's a picture of me, my mother, father and siblings. "Although I thought you only had one sibling." I sit in the chair across her. "If you mean the other two they died 6 years ago along with my father. Her eyes opened wide, "sorry I didn't know…" I smile and grabbed the picture, this was 10 years ago I told her. I sit gazing at the picture my mind going blank. "Oh, I forgot." she said. She turns to take something out of her backpack. She grabbed an orb. "It's a life orb, being an S rank you are permitted to get this." She hands it over to me. "What does it do"?.. I asked confused.

"We have it for urgent missions, we only have a handful of missions that for all of us. The threat usually have to be Star level." 

"Star Level?"

"You don't know, It's the level of power the ranks have. For example E rank is Wall level, they have enough strength to inflict damage to walls, C ranks are Building-Level they can break entire buildings by a simple punch, B rank are National Level they're powerful enough to destroy the entire nation instantly. A ranks are mid National to Planetary level they can easily destroy nations and if they go all out they can destroy entire planets, and finally S ranks we can destroy all of the above and much more, we can easily destroy stars. That's why they put us on a different level then A ranks.

I stand and offer her some coffee, she asked if I had some Tea and I went into my kitchen and made her black tea. When I returned back into the room I handed Anja her tea and asked her if that's why she came over. 

"No, the mission has been postponed for Saturday. I stand in shock, and placed my hand over my eyes. Than I started chuckling and stared at her. She began to laugh with an uncertain feeling. "You really came all the here, handed me an orb and we spoke for at least 10 minutes." I laughed louder, and my eyes started to water.  She say "Oh," she didn't realize and started to laugh. She checks her watch and stand to me. She bows then leaves my house waving at me. 

[System Progression, Sparks obtained. Permanent Party member. *What is her name: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ]… I said Anja, A N J A… and they placed it in.

[System updated, Rewards: Gold 190,000.] I left at the screen, to see if the system will react to my emotions. [System Progression, Mission available: Title quest. Do you wish to attend: YES or NO] 

I chose yes, this will allow me to earn a title and place me closer s to earning title god. *Are you sure.* "Yes".. I am instantly transported to a dark hallway with candles being it's only source of light. The further I walk the colder it gets.
