The Awakening Unknown

Chapter 16 - 16: The First Amendment

"Amendment 1"

Tuesday, 11:45 a.m.

A meeting takes place in Athens, Zone B, the meeting covering the twelve most powerful men. 11 Representatives and the World leader. The U.S, Korea, Russia, China, Japan, Africa, Germany, France, Italy, India, Athens. The 11 countries were named after the stories told from the old books in the library. Athens being different as the only one to not ditch it's roman ancestry. They sit in a wide spacious room with a large round table in the middle, windows making the walls and a perfect view to the country.

The World leader stood from his chair, and clapped his hands to get the other's intentions. Everyone's eyes fall upon the world leader, "please stand", the world leader ordered. He places his hands behind his back and closes his eyes. His once goofy personality alternated to a serious dominate one. "Before the meeting commence, Introduce yourselves." A man stood, with his right hand resting on his c.h.e.s.t, and a narcissistic smile. His face spells out arrogance and his teeth shines a bright white.

"My name is Sebastian Waters, I'm the representative of America." His bright blue eyes glimmers, and his fair, clear skin stands out even amongst the other. He lifts his head up high to show off his chiseled chin while he fixed his tie.

Another stand up, a small reserved man. He wears a white button up with a red bow tie. "My name is Chao Li Wu, China Representative." He decided to keep it short and direct, his short hair slicked back with grey streaks running through parts of my hair. He sat back down and showed high levels of annoyance towards Sebastian.

Sebastian slams his hands on the table and faces toward Chao Li, "what is your problem?" he asked. Jeong Li steps in the way of the potential argument, and begin to calm the two down. " how about I just introduce myself, I'm Jeong Li, the Korean representative." Suddenly a girl pushes her seat back, and her papers flies across the floor. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." she said. All eyes landed on her; the room dropped to a dead silence. She drops to the floor and picks up the scattered papers.

She stands with the papers in her arms, she then bows and tries to erase her existence, by sitting in her chair. "Who is this broad," the man said. A man with a receding hairline, and a thick russian accent. He has a name tag on his grey suit that says Vaughan and a plaque that say Russia representative. Very direct and lazy. The girl stood up, her chair rolls backwards. "I'm Arielle, France new representative." Their eyes opened as if they just watched someone die.

"What going on," Sebastian asked "why is there a new representative for France." The World Leader sighs, covered his face and began shaking his leg as if he became nervous. He finally broke the awkwardness, he looked up at the other leaders then asked the africa representative to explain.

"The former representative Mason D Letatte is no longer with us, he passed 2 months ago."

The room breaks into a pure awkwardness, "Kadir, how did Mason die." Chao asked.

"He died from an untreated blood leakage in the brain. I'm sorry."

A Japanese man stand up and smiles, "Don't worry me and Kadir made sure that he gets a proper funeral." The man talking is Watanabe Jun'ichi, Japan representative usually seen hanging around Kadir. Me, Kadir and Silvio invested in the funeral already it will be set in 2 months. Silvio looks up in confusion.

"2 months? I thought it would be 3 months."

"Shut it Italy," Jun'ichi whispered.

World Leader stood and spoke words, "sit now, I'll introduce myself." Everyone sits, they eyes fixated on him. "I'm Adonis the World Representative, thank you all for joining me today." His eyes beautifully close, his soft voice travel through each ear. "I know what you are all thinking, why did I have us introduce ourselves once again, no reason other than our newest member getting all of your names. Kadir raises his hand as if he was 12. "Klaus didn't introduce himself," everyone focused on Klaus. A man with glasses and long black-hair tied to the back. "I'm Klaus l, German." Vague but gets the point across.

Shall we begin the meeting, can you bring me the papers." A woman wearing a vest and a button up shirt and brown pants hands Adonis stacks of papers. Let's start the votes for the first amendments.

I'm standing outside of the store I visited yesterday. It's called Percent Details, not sure of the meaning for it's name but I don't care much. I walk up to the doors and hear the loud ding that follows after walking into the shop. "Hello, welcome." Once they realized that it was me that I ran to me. "What are you doing here."

"I returned to bring you guys this sake bottle." I reach into my bag and get my sake bottle.

"Oh thank you".

"But you didn't need to."

I just wanted to talk with you guys, I thought a drink of sake would be of great usage. "Thank you" the old man said. They offer me a spot in the backroom, and I have no reason not to go. I need answers about the 5 great continents. They send me to a small room with a couch, three bean bags and a chair. I sit on the couch and wait for them to come back here. I wait for 32 minutes, as they have to close up the shop for the night.

The door opens and they walk in. "so what do you wish to talk about." the woman said. I stare at floor deep thinking. I have to ask about the 5 great continents what do you know?"
