The Apocalyptic Mother And Her Struggles

Emma slowly walked out of the escalator and entered the commanding room. She looked around and silence prevailed as those that should be here stared at her and waited for her commands.

She slowly went to her chair and sat down. ''Red alarm!''

Everyone went to their stations without uttering a word and waited for further instructions.

The noise of red alarm started and even those that sleep woke up and in fear looked around not knowing what is going on.

Emma deeply inhaled and then with determined expression looked straightforward.

''Open big screen I have to say something to everyone.''

Suddenly her face was shown as a projection on all levels and everyone just stood there and waited.

She sighed and then with sadness started announcing the results of what happened.

''I started this project while ago when I by mistake entered some file in someone's computer. I found out one of the countries wanted to use forbidden attacks with bioweapons on virus base. I had a really bad feeling about it and unfortunately, it became true.''

Everyone started clamoring but still continued watching her.

''After many tries to warn the governments of the countries about that, they just hid it as usual and even made me look like some kind of lunatic. I reported it to their governments, radio stations, tv stations and even made internet buzz all over the world. I hope I could make some people realize how big that danger is.''

They could see her eyes being tiered and around her eyes, big dark circles could be seen.

''I used all my wealth to finish this and twenty more shelters on the world. Unfortunately, I could just do that much. I am not God to be able to help everyone.''

Thye had to admit her words made sense.

Suddenly the picture changed and the satellite video could be seen while they still could hear her words.

''The virus changed human DNA and things from movies are just happening at this moment all over the world.''

Everyone could see humans turning into zombies and they started crying in fear.

''The first wave would have been done if people went out and burned those bodies before the change started. But insects like flies, fleas and mosquitoes are as well one of the reasons for this. The first wave was killed but the second wave started after those people were bitten by insects. Now it would be not so bad if those stupid people didn't nuke that place.''

Suddenly they could see how the whole county was bombed and nuked.

''They were too anxious in their fear as they forgot one very important thing about some viruses. They can change their DNA and become different. Now, this virus became airborne. I already warned again and luckily a lot of people listened to me. But how humanity will survive from now on is questionable.''

The picture again changed to her face.

''Here all of you are safe. After a while, I think the airborne virus will change again and will die out but the humans and animals that turn into zombies will not die so fast. We need to be careful and careful again. But we can't stay here inside forever.''

As her expression changed so did her demeanor.

''After this Zombie apocalypse, I will try to save as many humans as possible. And we will go into Zombie hunt. All of you that want to help out inside and outside the report. Next few months we will only save as many humans but will not engage in any Zombie directly. Of course, we will try to clear as many zombies around our place as possible. In the time between those that want to join forces in Zombie hunt and food acquisitions can go to Commander Mario Santini and you will get full army training. If you cant pass his training you will be sent back and will be found something else to do. We can't have a variable for the outside team. Please understand.''

Many young hearts started burning in d.e.s.i.r.e to fight so soon a long line could be seen on the first level.

Everyone now knew why she was so anxious about gathering as many people with families. After hearing her words that she will send teams out to save many people as possible most of them sighed in relief.

Emma rubbed her dry eyes and suddenly finger tapped her arm. She turned around and saw Mario with eye drops standing in front of her and smiling.

''I found out that many of those that stare a long time at a screen have dry eyes so I got your eye drops just in case.'' He stuffed the eyedrops into her hand and walked out under her stunning eyes.

But when he got into escalator he exhaled and could hear snickers. Unfortunately for him few of his soldiers saw his action and couldn't stifle the laughter.

When the door to the first level opened up Commander with dark expression came out and few soldiers with ruffled uniforms laughing came out.

He turned around and yelled. ''If you want another round of beating up I can give it to you.''

They just saluted and rushed away this time really trying not to laugh out loud.
