That Mysterious Guy

9:30 of the morning.

Deana and Jana finish their workout and go back to their condo and take a shower... then suddenly they craved of their favorite food. They were alone as Nanay Amalia and Jun went to the mall for grocery shopping.

They fight for their craves, but in the end, they went to the 28th floor to visit their favorite coffee shop who sells Filipino Desserts like 'cheesy rice cakes, Sapin-Sapin, suman, and other made from sticky rice' that grinds to powder.

They get out of the lift and chatting happily. The floor is a little crowded but they mostly ignore the onlookers except to those who greeted them. They smiled back.

They step-in inside the Café and their eyes sparks seeing those desserts. In the end, they don't hold back and picks all the food that captivated their eyes.

They choose to sit near the window and watch the busy road and streets of almost every corner of the City that reaches within their eyes.

Jana and Deana stayed for like an hour to finish the food on their plates. They began to felt the guilt but their stomach enjoying these native foods. Jana thought, if ever her wedding gown won't fit after this, she'll pay the price twice a time. Probably she won't asleep overnight but tried to lose some weight.

With the thought of that, both of them laughing. They'd finished their food and leave the café happily. Now they're complaining how full they are... as a punishment, they won't have any rice today and only fruits and vegetable salad.

Jana phoned Jun to buy more fruits and vegetables for their diet. Jana still talking to Jun when Deana's phone rings. She picks it up and stares at the screen, it was an unregistered phone number and her phone telling it's an international call from the US.

She thinks it was important so she answered. "Hello,"

"Ms. Deana, this is Johnson Gibb..." said the other.

"Oh, director Gibb is there a problem in the set?" she asked immediately.

Johnson Gibb is one of the assistant directors who currently filming her book. The Hollywood got interested in one of her works and they sealed a deal. As she's hiding a secret identity, she cannot be present to all the things happening during the filming set.

When Jana and Gary's wedding is approaching, she takes a leave and left Las Vegas for two weeks.

"Ah, there's no problem. Everything is going smooth. The artists are fully understood of their roles and so, we haven't face any difficulties."

Deana knew, Johnson wearing a smile right now. He is a young and talented person. Even the veteran directors are praising his works, but she cannot help not to wonder why he directly called her. There are several film crews assistants to relay the message if it is not a serious matter.

"I am glad to hear that, director Gibb," she said in a low voice.

They still on the 28th floor and so she doesn't want anyone would hear with her conversation.

The man on the other line laughs, "What was that? Why so formal? I told you, just called me Johnson."

"Umh, I'll think of it first... Johnson."

The guy laughs continuously, amused at her. It seems sounded a joke but the name just slips out of her tongue and so she just follows on the flows and made a casual laugh.

"Alright, I am just wanted to inform you that the producers scheduled for a meeting. There are important things they wanted to talk to you."

"Wait, is this about the current film?" Deana somewhat felt nervous suddenly. Are they decided to end the film or are they realize her book is not worth to show on the big screen?

Her mind was occupied of these questions when she notices that Jana had someone she argued with. It was Marga who now begins yelling. But she can't bring herself to end the call, this is something important to her.

"Hey, hey... don't think too much! Am not talking about bad news here, this is good news! I assure you! Okay?" Johnson eases her worries.

Hearing this, she can't help not tearing her lips with a big smile. She found such happiness doing so as a novelist. She did not expect any popularity but surprisingly, her books got a hit so much and she was invited into many book signing events. Right now, she gives all her heart into it and she won't let everything got to waste.

If before she did not fight for what she loves and just watch it go in front of her... this time, she'll fight everything just to keep holding of what dear to her. She'll go to fight no matter what.

"Hey, Deana... I told you, everything is fine. You have no need to worry about the film. You have my back, okay? Just come back as soon as possible."

Deana is not simple-minded for not understanding of Johnson's words. There's more on it. However, she has no interest in entertaining a new love. For the meantime, she was very happy with the success she has.

"Thank you, Johnson..." she uttered, the smile stayed on her lips. Not because of anything else, but hearing the film going smooth, is more than good news to her.

"Don't mention it will you? Just trust me. You have nothing to worry but look forward to greater things to come instead. You have a promising career." Johnson expressed the truth.

She is truly happy hearing these from the director's mouth, until seeing that person stepping out from the elevator. The guy has big steps towards them, particularly at Jana and Marga.

Jason grabs Marga and tried to pull away to leave that floor. But Marga tried to struggles and keeps screaming. Everyone who witnessed the scenes twitching their faces. When the argument started, the moms and nannies instructed the kids to covers their ears and don't watch.

After spotting Deana on the same floor, she marched towards her but Jana blocked her way.

Jana heard her friend mentioned a name she remembers Deana once told her... he is one of the film directors so she knew it was a very important call.

The other woman starts screaming and cursing inappropriate words to the young one's ears. The mothers began throwing dark gazes at her for having no ethics and discipline. They'd already realized what kind of a woman she really is, compared to Deana.

And speaking of Deana, she just happily making a conversation over the phone ignoring what's going on. Onlookers began wondering if it is her new boyfriend she talks to with?

For four years they become Deana's neighbors, they actually didn't see any wrong to talk bad about her. She is a genuine person. They believe she truly is a good person, that's why they left in wonder why Deana didn't try to defend herself in the issue or ever attempt to fix it?

When the scandal came out, just after a few days, they began seeing this woman in the building. She may be beautiful in the makeup, but compared to Deana, this woman is nothing. She simply a woman with money and power because of her family background.

It came to their minds that the issue was gone wild because of the few people who create the hype. There are people who are secretly envious of the success Deana have and they tried to ride in the issue and become uncontrollable.

Of course, to be named as one of the '10 Most Beautiful In The World' is something not easy to achieve... but Deana, she just let the people ruined her career and destroyed her name. They left in wonder, maybe cheating on Jason is worth it. The guy looks stupid and not that great anymore.

It's not that they will tolerate a cheater person, but in Deana's case, it is unbelievable for them her neighbors to believe the issue just like that. She treats people with respect and kindness, compared to this spoiled woman making a scene right now, is like wasn't educated by her parents and teaches how to be a modest fine lady.

What so good about this woman? Jason must be blind. But observing the guy, he looks more pissed and just trying to keep his calm while dragging Marga forcefully into the lift.

When the two gone, the floor filled with whispers and sarcastic laughs. Not talking against Deana but towards Marga.

Deana hangs up the phone after Johnson ended the call. Seeing Jason this morning, she proves that her heart who was once broke by him is no longer throbbing.

If before every time she got sight of him, her heart flutters and warmth fill inside. But right now, she doesn't feel any special feelings anymore, instead, she accepted the fact that he was now just a part of her painful past. She smiled.

"What happens?" She asked Jana even she already guessed of what Marga fussing about.

"Nah. Don't bother about it, I'll handle her for you. She's nothing." While muttering this, Jana taps her left arm trying to show some muscles. She giggles.

Deana has trust in her best friend. She knew that Jana was also a spoiled brat, but she is acting it in the right way and using it in a good reason.

The people on that floor still get not over about the scene. Deana left them in awe once again. She always the Deana they knew before. A woman who always wears her dignity by ignoring the bad news in her life. She knew that facing that woman is just a waste of time.

They really admired her strength of shrugging off negativity and walk forward. Seeing her now came back is proof of that.

So, who's that Mysterious Guy she's with on the hotel two years ago?

Curiosity was reborn from two years ago. Yet, that question was never answered, and it seems her bashers and anti-fans miss that out or just ignored?

They forget to point out that guy but focus on the word 'CHEATING'.

No one brings out who is that guy in that presidential suite in a five stars hotel Deana was caught she visited to even she was checking in a different hotel.
