Nie Li... or rather Nie Lan spent the entire school day in a daze. She still could not believe what is happening. Repeatedly she had her mouth slightly open as she though '[email protected]^/!#&$$^!^ why did this need to happen to me?'

Unknowingly she had a slight sense of loss and expressed the anguish as if an immortal fairy was in distress which led to the boys looking at her be sent into a daze.

It wasn't until after school when she finally regained a part of herself, enough to drag herself listlessly back to her house.

Along the way she would get looks at her which just fueled her unwilling soul and stuffed her full of hot chilies.

"Hey!" She heard behind her as she turned around.

It was Shen Yue, "Care to join me for lunch?" he asked with a smile that would daze almost any girl... except Nie Lan still hasn't excepted it and even if she did Shen Yue of the Sacred family would be the last person on Earth... no even if he was the last person such genes of treachery should not even exist.

As such she gave him the cold shoulder which only heightened his ego as he believed that he is the scion of the world, the son of heaven.

And she snapped. Nie Lan jumped at Shen Yue which he was ecstatic because he had the chance to put this girl in her place... or so he thought.

Unconsciously, Nie Lan had performed the soft attacks of a girl and managed to reverse Shen Yue's movements with footwork and push/pull tactics.

Shen Yue was so dumbfounded that he laid on the ground for a minute after Nie Lan decided to take her leave. However, would this stop the oh so arrogant young master? No. Afterall, he has always been able to get the things he had wanted to get and break the toys he didn't want, this is the pinnacle of arrogance of young masters!

Nie Lan was still walking when she somehow made it back to her house, but at this point our poor protagonist was so tired from the mental instability she was experiencing that she just fell on the bed and hoped this to be a bad dream.
