“Paternity test1?” Yu Fenglian looked at the nurse with an indescribable expression and said, “Why do we need a paternity test? Could it be that this child is not my son’s?”

Raw 亲自鉴定(Qīnzì jiàndìng); Identify oneself. I just assume this is a typo for 亲子鉴定(Qīnzǐ jiàndìng); Paternity test. Same pinyin but different character and tone. At first YF said “亲自鉴定？” which is a meaning to identify oneself, then she confirm the second time by asking “为什么要做亲子鉴定？; in which she ask why do they have to do a paternity test. It’s a bit confusing since we don’t know if the author means for YF to said the wrong words because of she was anxious or if this actually a typos, so…… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Raw 理由(Lǐyóu): reason/grounds/justification. Google translate actually grouped 理由 and 借口 as excuses. Was tempted to leave it as it is but since the words is different so I change it to justified which more closer to it’s real meaning(?) please correct me if it was wrong Orz
