Arc 1.56: Teasing Children

Du Yao really doing as what he promised, and stopped after an hour, however Ye You felt that he was not completely satisfied yet, but he could only hold back and wait for Du Yao to have a few days off before letting him completely satisfy himself.

Ye You sat up from the bed, and pushed Du Yao who was still resting on him, and said, “You go out to greet the guests first. I’ll come out in a while.”

Du Yao looked up and saw Ye You’s blushing cheeks and watery eyes. Not only did the passion had not disappeared, but it became stronger, so he shook off the quilt, covered him and said, “You don’t have go out. When you go out like this, others will know what we have done right away. You just sleep in the room, and no one will pick a fault. Anyway, there are many people who have been in confinement for two months.”

Du Xue’er loves to laugh just after a little teasing, yet no matter how Du Xuan was teased, he wouldn’t laugh. His deadpan expression, just like a serious little adult, but with a round and chubby dough face, which looked cute and funny.

While eating the dried fruit, Ye You asked Du Yao in a low voice, “Did you also like thaat when you were a kid? Still not sensible, yet you always have a serious expression?”

“How can I remember?” Du Yao gave him a helpless look.

“Then I’m going to ask mom, Mom definitely remember.” Ye You turned to look at Qin Yuwei who had just sat down and said, “Mom, was Du Yao the same as Xuan’er when he was a child?”

Two little dumplings that bring laughter to everyone were naturally the most important thing in  the Spring Festival celebration this year. Almost everyone circle around them both, and they also received a mountain of gifts.

Originally, Sun Ting was still angry with Ye Chen, but after seeing Du Xuan and Du Xue’er, she didn’t want anything anymore except to hold her (own) grandchild. She only hoped that Du Hao could come back soon, as long as Ye Chen could give birth to a grandson for her, she will agreed no matter what the conditions were. If they want to go out and live alone, just let them go out and live alone, as long as they left the grandson to her.

When Ye Chen saw these two children, he would think of the child he accidentally lost. He felt sad and regretful. Had he known this earlier, he should decided to have children first and then just fight for his career. He was not the son of destiny like Ye You and life cannot be perfect. Since he can’t get everything that he wanted, then hold on to everything he already have. He will live well with Du Hao. Now he already nurse back his body to health, when Du Hao comes back, he can start preparing for pregnancy.

But he still insisted on moving out with Du Hao to live alone, because he didn’t want to live a life that envied Ye You every day, nor did he want to live a life that would always suffer from Sun Ting’s anger. These two things were not conducive to him adjusting his mentality and living a better life.

Every household has begun to prepare for the holiday, and the Du family was no exception. A large family of people was lively every day that people in other families has envied such a big family.

Sun Ting was no longer as enthusiastic and bustled about as in previous years. She spend most of the time resting in her room on the ground of being uncomfortable. Ye Chen was the same, staying in the room most of the time.

However, these two people did not affect the happy mood of the rest of the Du family during the festival. After all, this big family reunite once a year, not to mention the addition of two new people in the family this year, everyone was naturally happy in their hearts.

But when the Du family was busy preparing for the festival, bad news suddenly came. Du Hao was injured on the battlefield and lost a leg.

“Mom, it’s better to let Du Yao stay. I can take the child back by myself. In case of trouble, Du Yao will be able to protect you.” Ye You said as he looked at Qin Yuwei.

Qin Yuwei asked Ye You to take the child back to his family’s home because she was worried that Sun Ting would frighten the child when she was going crazy, but Ye You was also worried about Qin Yuwei, so he wanted Du Yao to stay and protect her, he could take the child back by himself.

I will be fine with your dad and so many uncles and aunts.” After Qin Yuwei closed the box, she stood up and looked at Ye You and said, “Furthermore, Du Hao was injured and it had nothing to do with me. The Du family and the Sun family were already waiting at the Military Hospital.
