So What! I'm A Prince Too!

Chapter 6 - Did we just skip the part with the potion and the unbearable pain? Also isn’t one of the

Sameal kneeled on the floor and tried his best not to scream again. He clenched his teeth, and the veins on his head bulged. Then darkness came and he fainted.

The clocked figure was still leaning against the wall, but an expression of surprise seems to flashed across its face.

By the time that Sameal woke up he noticed he was faced down and was compromised in an awkward pose.

Sameal trying his best to catch his breath, sat up on the floor and leaned against the wall for support.

After a while, the cloaked figure walked toward him.

"From today onward I'll start to teach you magic, you are my, Enoch's, apprentice." After it said that, the figure slowly started to uncloak himself to reveal fit old man wearing what seems to be a make shift of cloak and robe with dazzling silver glow that seems to be transparent. He then randomly grabbed a staff off the wall and threw it toward the ground in front of Sameal and said, "Then that's begin practicing magic now."

Sameal's anticipation was about to erupt like a volcano as he immediately became suffused with excitement.

"Can you really teach me to become a warlock? I mean people who are able to use magic in this world are mostly females and it seems strange when you and I are both male?" Sameal asked with a strange expression.

Enoch, seeing the confusion on the face of Sameal, stroke his white beard. "Yes that's true, but my father spent half of his life creating a potion that was able to make the male body able to adapt to the so called demons that attacks your body every winter. I was the very first test subject of the potion that you drank and when he finally succeeded and created the first male who are able to use magic, I killed him." Enoch said.

In shock Sameal asked, "Why did you killed your father? Why would you do that?"

"Since I was five I've been drinking potions every day that caused me extreme pain, my brother who was three years older than me was killed by my father's experiments. That was three weeks before he finally created a potion that was able to create a safe magic root. SO TELL ME WHEN A MAN CAUSED YOU EXTREME PAIN EVERDAY FOR THE PAST TWELVE YEARS WOULD YOU NOT KILL HIM!" Enoch said with pain etched into his face and eyes red from anger.

"I'm… mm… sorry." Sameal said while still in shock.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled at you, anyway when I finally gained magical powers I ran off to escape. I returned ten years later to pack up my father's and brother's remaining possession hoping that these potions and research would never be leaked into the world causing other children the pain and suffering that me and my brother had to suffer through. Then as I pack I read through the research and found out that the reason my father had gone insane with these research was because when he was young he traveled throughout the world and found demons that are able to kill hundreds of men without effort, then as he dug deeper about these creatures he learned of a ancient civilization that once fought against these demons and was defeated. Along the way my father found out that one day demons of legend would return to these lands. With the potions he wished he would be able to create an army that would be able to fight against these demons." Enoch said.

"Demons? Then when would they return to the world? I mean there has never been demons since the creation of Graycastle and I'm sure the Church's army would be able to defend against any foreign army." confusion spread upon Sameal's face.

"No, I've seen the so called demons before, I've traveled to the foreign land before and I'm not sure how powerful your so called church is but I'm sure they will not be able to defeat the demons. I've seen both of their armies and based on the numbers alone the church simply do not have enough people. I've also seen the Demon's home world and I'm sure once the gate opens then all hell would break lose. That's not speak of this anymore. Let's begin practice."

"I…. fine, let's begin" Sameal spoke with hesitation and wonder as to why Enoch decided to dodge the rest of the question. Also what does he mean the gates opening? (I think the author just doesn't know how to connect Enoch with World builders.)

"Alright Sameal, let me tell you that when it comes to attack power, each element or different magic style has its advantages."

"For example, fire element style magic would be able to burn an entire city to ashes once you're strong enough to release enough fire. But the ice element style magic which would be able to unleash enough coldness to freeze hundreds of thousands of people to death. While wind element magic would be able to fill the entire sky with blade-like gusts of wind... since we both have the magical root then we will be able to release illusion, telekinesis, and God's will. I'll begin by teaching you some illusion spells which would be able to assist you and hide your magic from other people and along the way be able to cast magic that would support the troops." Enoch said with an unreadable expression and since I'm the author I say he said with a smug expression.

"I'll teach you the four different type of spells that would be the best for you now so you can get use to the feeling of magic releasing inside you. Remember the more you use the magic the more your magic capacity increases and eventually your magical root would manifest and gain a huge boost to your magic capacity." Enoch said while grabbing he's staff and the magical word's floating around him started to swirl faster and faster until the whirlwind turned into a symbol of an eye of Horus that seems to peer into everything and anything.

Suddenly Sameal felt like every bad thing or good thing he had ever done has been laid out on a table and examine.

"This is Clairvoyance a special skill that I've created to peer into the other person. Usually a normal person would not be able to feel the eye staring at you nor would there be a giant eye that would form but since I'm trying to show you this skill I've manifested both of these feelings. This power allows you to look upon the other person and know fragments of their deepest memories or see if they have any hidden weapon on their bodies. This also allows you to look through walls but the distant would not be very far. Also if the wall is too thick you would also not be able to peer through. Once you gain enough power and upgrade it to the second level then you would eventually get past this hurdle." Enoch said

"So how would I learn this spell?"

"Begin by imaging as if the eye is forming inside you. Sort of like the eye I just showed you and once you feel like someone is tugging inside you imagine your eye being able to peer through everything. You would then begin feeling itchy in the eye and you would be able to see." Then Enoch's eye seems to flash a light of bright blue before going back to his original sky blue color.

After hearing the instruction Sameal begins to picture the Eye of Horus and then when he finally opened his eye he suddenly feel like the itchy feeling of when he put on contact lenses for the first time and everything turned transparent.

The sudden change of color and the feeling of his eyes focusing on its own made him feel a sense of crises. Then Sameal realized as long as he squinted he would be able to see through the walls. The down side to this was that while the center of his eye is perfectly clear and was able to glance through walls there seems to be a circle around that is just blurry. Sort of like when you turn on Witcher sense.

"Wait! How do I stop this feeling? This thing is making me very dizzy!" Sameal said while trying to stop moving and sitting down.

"You just need to feel like the power is dispersing and it'll just go away. It's really easy." Enoch said while smiling at him.

Then when Sameal tried the suggestion he felt like as if someone was taking a pair of contact lenses off his eyes.

"The first level of Clairvoyance is to see the movements of the sea and land. The second level is to see through the secrets of the world. The third grade is to see through the secrets of the mind. The fourth grade is to see through everything and anything. Finally the fifth grade is to see through those that mortals cannot watch. Which allows you to peers through all of heaven or hell, past or present, and beyond this world. Once you master the fifth level you see through all. "Enoch said

"Then what level are you at master?" Sameal said with confusion.

"I'm actually at the fifth level. I can see all. For example I know what your origins are Luc Yan and I can see what brought you to this world. I have no solutions on how you can get back but I know." After Enoch said that the Eye appears again and this time his eye flashed with golden light and this time the golden light stayed on.

"Then you're saying you know who I am and once I learned the fifth level of Clairvoyance I would be able to see my old world?" Sameal said with excitement.

"Yes, I can see beyond this world and that's why when I said I can see the home of those demons. Right now if nothing change then all of these kingdoms would not be able to survive the invasion. Beside you, there are two other people from another world. All three of you came by chance but anyone of you would have the power to change this world. One of you have the power of God's mind, one of you have the power of God's will, and one of you have the power of God's spirit. Although out of all three of them only you needed help and by chance you found World Builder which can help you manifest God's will. Eventually all three of you would gather together to defend this world." Enoch said with a very serious expression.
