So What! I'm A Prince Too!

Chapter 10 - A toast to the Past and the best grandma ever

[Skill- Clairvoyance increased to Level 2]

"… What was that?"

The fort was dark. That was simply because the world outside is also dark, at least for the next few hours. The moon was shining brightly in the sky and lit up the world dimly.

It was nighttime.

However, despite the hour one figure slowly hopped around the room. A young men. His movement left a trail of blood as he walked around the room. She paced from wall to wall, while staring at the figure still laying in his bed.

"Did I just level up?"

"Seriously I leveled up! I mean I know we were in another world and I have a sort of system in my mind, but why did I level up in the "real" world. It make sense that there is leveling in World Builder but now with the actual announcement then it means I'm actually playing a game…"

After hopping around a few more time and tripping over his own chair Sameal finally got back into his chair and leaned against his desk.

"I'm beat."

That was the last thing Sameal said before he fell into a deep sleep with troubling dreams.

---

In this dream Sameal was watching Roland explain to a handsome knight, a little girl, and a pretty red hair girl about the use of fire. Then he saw the red hair girl look down and then the knight shouting about some water boiling. Then Sameal seem to suddenly lost control of himself and Clairvoyance suddenly turned on. When he looked again he saw five people instead of four. Of the five of them three of them had something lighting up inside them. The red hair girl had a swirling mass of red light that seems to be almost filling her small frame up. While the little girl had a light that seems to be about emerge but it seems so faint right now. Then finally he saw another mass of swirling gray light that seems to be shrouded by fog. There was something strange about this light thou because only when he turned on Clairvoyance can he see the person otherwise when Clairvoyance was off he could not even detect the person.

Then the scene in his dream changed again.

---

This time all he can see is a room with a giant crystal in the middle. Finally he realize that this wasn't a crystal instead a giant piece of ice with a blue haired lady frozen inside it. Then Clairvoyance suddenly turned on again and he saw the same thing with the lady stuck in ice. The lady was almost completely illuminated by the ice blue light shining from inside her. Then he noticed statues that looks like monster surrounding the crystal and a shaking suddenly occur shifting the world in his dream again.

---

This time he saw a hooded figure walking through the street on a night illuminated by the moon. Then as the figure turned around a corner he saw a giant fort with soldiers walking around the walls and flags waving around in the air and suddenly the figure looked up at a window with a figure leaning against it. Then Clairvoyance tuned on and Sameal realized the figure leaning against the window was himself and he seems to be light up by something inside too. Instead of red, blue, or gray he saw himself illuminated by an eye. The light comes from an eye that seems to just float in the middle of his frame and it keep illuminating a sort of a holy light but the eye seems to be closed right now. While he couldn't see anything inside his room because he was too far away instead he turned toward the figure and for some reason he couldn't exactly see the figure. Instead of light, there seems to be a light s.u.c.k.i.n.g black hole on the person and then suddenly the figure turned and stared right at him. A pair of emerald green eye seems to glared at him and suddenly the world around him went dark.

---

The next day hit Sameal in the face. He g.r.o.a.n.e.d and sat up, shoulders and back aching. His neck felt twisted and his whole body was sore from lying on the floor. He would definitely have slept longer if it weren't for the constant muffled screaming of the figure on his bed.

Hobbling around, Sameal looked at the bright sunlight streaming through his windows and winced since the light was too bright.

Then as he was prepare to walk toward the girl he suddenly stopped and turned toward the window in his room and a thought that had suddenly stuck him, Something that he didn't really take to heart before.

"This—really is not earth…"

It was quite a simple revelation that came to Sameal but when he looked up at the sky far wider then his own and stared up into the vivid blue infinity above his head and the sky that was different from what he had grown accustomed to in his previous life.

The family and friends he had left behind and the things he haven't done yet. For example he haven't asked out his crush before, he haven't enjoyed the feeling of going to college yet, and he haven't even say goodbye to his parents and grandma who had raised him his entire life. Before he realized what was happening tear seems to fall from the corner of his eyes and a sense of wanting to go back suddenly appeared in his heart. A life where he wasn't threaten by an assassin and a life where he could enjoy a lazy afternoon listing to his grandmother's story. An afternoon where he could hang out with his friends who will have far more success then him, and although he was jealous he will always to be happy for them. Then the tears came down harder and harder.

The only sound you can hear in the room was the sound of drops of water dripping onto the desk and the birds chirping outside. The assassin that was tied up saw the mighty prince cry and stopped screaming and struggling too. Instead she just silently stared at the figure that was trying his best to hold his head up and back toward her so she wouldn't see him cry.
