Shining Duos

Standing early in the morning in the hallway was Kazami, Kuzumi and Lun Yuo all having a secret discussion.

"So here what I was thinking, I feel like this mission won't go as smoothly as that elder was explaining yesterday." Hearing Kazami guess both the girls were somewhat confused and Lun Yuo asked,

"What do you mean? As long we're careful the mission should be pretty straightforward."

"I'm sure that the elder most likely left out some crucial details for us and there that weird black shade man who giving me an odd vibe."

"What do you supposed we do about it then?" Kuzumi questioned him.

"Let us just keep calm for now and on the mission if any of the slightest miss up happens because of our side then be aware and ready for action. Don't forget the stronger ones will be severely weakened. We will count on Yu for this since you will be the most useful for this as out of three of us you can read a study a person faces easily."

Feeling appreciated Lun Yuo happily smiled while Kuzumi picked up and said,

"What about after this mission is done, are we going to stay here and cultivate?"

"Yes, I'm guessing with our limits we need to get at least to late Origin Formation before starting back up to explore this world." He stated while still pondering how to break through the right way.

"Hey what about those disciples we're meeting up with today? Knowing how this universe works a fight is unavoidable so what if their peak Origin Formation, we haven't fought against something like that." Lun Yuo suddenly thought of and asked the two.

"Hmm, about that just leave it to me I think I have some idea what's our general peak prowess is as of now," Kazami assured them and while they were talking, a door open and out came the beautiful Brenda.

"Huh? How long have you three been up?" A confused Brenda came asking while strolling over to the three.

"Oh just for a little bit now, we thought of just getting a head start on this day," Kazami answered her and accepting his reasonable explanation she continued,

"I think the others should be coming out right about now." And as if on cue 5 more doors open as the rest strolled on in the hallway. Besides the black shade man and the yellow star family, youth Kazami hasn't genuinely taken notice of the other four and looking at them now he can tell they were certainly useful.

Two men were talking to each other and one of them was an older rough-looking man with short red hair wearing an intimidating leather outfit. He was at the 10th level of Origin Formation and seemed to be one step away from Ruler Transformation. The other one was similarly an older man with an adventure type look wearing a light brown leather outfit and a backpack strap on. Like the other man, he was also at the 10th level of Origin Formation.

The last two were women who were also conversing with each other and one was a good looking woman dressed in bright colors giving off a favorable impression. She was at the 9th level of Origin Formation but still walked with conviction.

The other one was a young girl with an ordinary appearance and wearing casual clothes but her level was anything but ordinary. She was actually in the 10th level of Spirit Formation and only was a step away from Origin Formation! And she was the only peak level out of all the youths there as well.

Once they were out and talking Kazami struck up a conversation with Brenda again saying;

"Hey, what do you think these sect geniuses will be like?"

"If I have to say giving they will be in the same age range as us and they're most likely in peak Spirit Formation or peak Origin Formation and there in the strongest sect of this city and probably one of the strongest throughout this whole province plus good backgrounds, they will unmistakably be haughty." Brenda calmly answered him.

"I can tell and they will probably be troublesome on this mission showing us no respect as were outsiders if we don't remind them they're not the only genius here." This got Brenda to smirk saying,

"And are you prepare to remind there?"

"As prepare as you are and I think you'll be in for an extra surprise for today." Brenda was a bit confused at the last part but before she could question him about it they heard the elder coming towards them.

"Ah, you all up and lively good. Today I'll let you all get familiar with our seven disciples and with the items, we will be using. Tomorrow we head off and also this mission will take a couple of days to a week so be prepared. Now follow me." When Elder Wayne was finished he led the ten to another courtyard and there stood 7 youths who all looked superior and aloof.

Three of the youths were all 10th level Spirit Formation and two were handsome guys and the other one was a gorgeous girl. They only spare the ten a passing glance before talking back to each other.

The fourth who one who looked the youngest was a cute girl but was actually in the 5th level of Origin Formation! She only gave them a condescending smile and joined with the other Spirit Formation youths.

Then the other three youths who seemed to outshine the other four as they were all at the 10th level of Origin Formation! Two were beautiful girls that didn't even put the ten in their eyes while at the center was the devilish handsome guy who radiated the most power out of all of them. He didn't even take notice of their arrival.

This level of arrogance disturbs the group but some of them know they have the qualifications to act this way being in the Great Cloud sect and would rather not offend them.

"You all are right on time now as this will be a dangerous mission and a certain level of cooperation is needed how about we introduce ourselves. You guys go first." Elder Wayne pointed to the ten he was leading and one by one they did.

"Yo the names Eran." The leatherman roughly greeted.

"My name is Hiles." The adventurous man smiled and waved.

"Yellow Sky Family Azus." With his stride of confidence, the youth said.

A p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to make your acquaintance my name is Myla." The good looking girl warmly greeted them.

"Witha, good day to you." The plain woman tiredly said.

"Slade." Was all the black shade man told them.

While the six of them attempted to ignore the disciple rudeness, the other four went up to the seven matching them right in their eyes and said;

"Kazami."

"Kuzumi."

"Lun Yuo"

"Brenda."

The genius four indifferently said and while the seven disciple didn't pay much or any attention to the other six introductions, how these four introduced themselves walking up to them and the air of superiority they felt got their attention.

Walking up to them they raised their auras in an attempt to make them back down and with the Spirit Formation male youths dismissively saying;

"Joe Xiu."

"Hu Tou."

The girls picked up proudly stating;

"Ju Jia."

"Lo Zu." The 5th level Origin Formation one said.

Once they were finished the two Origin Formation girls cruelly smiled and said;

"Muji."

"Dyria."

And the strongest youth concluded nonchalantly with;

"Alian."

Seeing the rising tension Elder Wayne was only comfortably observing it than deciding to but in.

"Nice little attempt there at making yourselves seems bigger than what you truly are." Kazami condescendingly told them not the least bit affected by their pressure.

Getting slightly annoyed with the kid challenging them Joe Xiu walked up to him scorning him with;

"You know aren't you a mere 7th level Spirit Formation, if I were you I would learn how to shut my mouth before running of bullshit."

"Heh yea to think the people we would have is a small frog that doesn't know any better." Hu Tou added on to the jeering.

"Like I said over-inflated ego centrist children with too much power." Brenda insulted them with a calm tone.

"Oh, but of course spoiled kids like these always have their heads far up their own asses." Kuzumi decided to jump in pouring oil on the fire.

This time Muji jumped in saying;

"Tch! Is this the best the city got, little shitty brats that like to run their mouths."

"Hold on I get it now from what I heard; orange hair girl five-star talent, and two twins with a green hair girl divine talent, right? Do you honestly think just cause some ball said you have high talent it equals to great strength? What a joke!" Alian ridiculed calling them out and refusing to believe they have any surpassing strength.

"Look let just skip the bullshit since it would always come down to this right Kazami? Come I only need one move to crush anyone of you Spirit Formation. Oh, would this be a problem if I challenge them, Elder Wayne." Brenda walked out to an empty part of the field and beckon her hand to the disciples while also asking him.

"Not at all through exchanging moves can we truly understand each other and respect each other." Elder Wayne smiled and allowed them.

"So damn arrogant! Let me show you what it means to be a level above someone!" Joe Xisu quickly walked up not actually putting her in his eyes despite the difference in only one level.

"You also seem quite confident despite only being one level above me, what tricks do you have up your sleeve then?" Brenda crossed her and waited.

"Not tricks you fool, it a separation of pure power!" As he screamed that he fully unleashed his aura and coated his hand with green fire Qi. This green fire Qi is even more powerful than the average, red or orange fire Qi, showing off he does have talent.

Not only that he also accomplish Spiritual Elemental Qi as well as it further boosted his power.

"Looks like Xisu wants to finish this quickly. Only serves them right if they get humiliated like this after what they said." Hu Tou said believing the girl won't last a second.

"Is that all?" Brenda only looked bored while staring at him which further served to piss Joe Xisu off.

"I'll wipe that look off your face! Typhoon Ash!" Joe Xisu didn't even wait and unleashed his cultivation attack skill as he fired off two streams of green fire from his palms.

As the fire burst towards her all Brenda did was coated her palm in her gold sword Qi and slashed her hand down sending a single sword Qi strand towards it.

"What a fo-"

Whatever Joe Xisu was going to say was stopped when his cultivation attack skill was cut in half by her sword Qi!

"Give me your strongest so I can cut it down along with you." Brenda confidently stated not in the least bit affected.

But Joe Xisu and the other disciple were utterly shocked that attack of his would've destroyed any normal 10th level Spirit Formation in an instant!

Getting more fired up both of his arms was coated in green fire and smashing his arm together he shouted;

"Gale Fire!"

A thin straight line of fire blasted out and rushed out even faster than his last attack and reached Brenda in a flash but she was already prepared with her golden sword Qi hand.

'Chi!'

The hard to see and the fast strand of fire was sliced in half by her hand and leaving no room to the breath, Brenda rushed to Joe Xisu and smashed her fist into his face.

"AHHHH!" He screamed and was sent flying hitting the ground hard, the fist completely immobilizing him.

"Like I said one move was enough." The six other disciples were quiet as even if they could call the first move luck the second one was true power. Not only did she react quick enough to the attack and disperse it, she also had enough power to send Xisu flying with one attack utterly destroying him.

"Now before I let the other get a turn I challenge you Lo Zu!" Brenda stared directly in her eyes while doing so.

The girl was briefly stunned before smiling cruelly and walking up to her.

"Ah, don't get c.o.c.ky with defeating him you truly don't know the difference of knowing your limits and acting foolish!"
