Shining Duos

Sticking out her hand she told Kazami;

"It's Brenda a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to make your acquaintance." And taking her hand Kazami had a small smile and said;

"Ah, good name for the sword maiden! And from your nice soft hands, I can tell you practice with a sword every day. Oh, the name Kazami by the way." Taking his hand back he still had a welcoming smile on it and combined with his natural looks Brenda only slightly raised her eyebrows questioning him;

"And just how from my "nice soft hands" can you tell I practice the sword every day?"

"Oh from the texture of your hands I can feel the sword there. Truly, your whole aura and the way you carry yourself scream out the sword."

"Really now?"

"Really! It suits a sharp beautiful girl such as yourself." Smiling a little bit at his straightforward examination she teased;

"Well, now you're quite the honest charmer even in front of those two pretty girls beside you." Turning over his head over did notice Kuzumi having a big smile on his face as if she waiting for something and Lun Yuo dawning an inquisitive expression.

"Oh, the one with the big smile is my sister Kuzumi and the thinking one is my friend Lun Yuo."

"Yo!" Kuzumi waved at her.

"Hello." Lun Yuo greeted although she wrinkled her eyebrow a bit.

Nodding at them she then spoke up;

"I suppose it's only fair I return the compliments now, you three are outrageous I never seen geniuses like you three."

"Ah, us three also practice a lot to get to this point and not to brag or anything I'm sure no one can top us in this test." Kazami lightly boasted about himself and this got a reaction out of Brenda.

She had a challenging smirk saying;

"Someone sure is confident but who knows? Just so you know I wasn't even truly going all out, the results would've drastically change then."

"My seems like someone has a competitive spirit in them but you know if I would've gone all out then there would've no point in this test."

"Hmph, you know your not the only one who can jump up realms, everybody was so shock but I only consider it so-so."

Getting more pumped up Kazami stared into her eyes with his inviting playful smirk saying;

"Well now I know where this is leading, can I take this as the fair sword maiden challenging my Divine Talent and wanting a spar I suppose?"

"I don't like to lose to anyone nor have I ever lost to anyone in my age group, do you dare to accept?"

"Oh you're on after this mission we'll have a go at in the sect be warned though I don't hold back for anyone even for impressive girls such as yourself." Enthusiastically putting out his hand Kazami challenged and teased back.

"You should more worry about protecting that pretty face when I come at you." Taking his hand they vigorously shook on their on the spot challenge.

"I'm taking this a start to a beautiful friendship and rivalry wouldn't you agree?"

"I wonder, hmm I'll let you decide that answer for yourself." Brenda teased back and after breaking off they laughed enjoying each other more and more.

"Oh since you are a divine genius you must share with me you're training methods as a fellow divine genius in the making since I doubt anything special will happen on those fields," Brenda said as now she was starting to gain more of a charming smile.

"Hey Kuzumi why aren't you say anything and stopping from trying to say something." Lun Yuo complained to her as every time she tried to jump in their conversation Kuzumi would distract her.

"Was I? Must've didn't notice it hey look at the older division field someone truly interesting is going up." Kuzumi quickly pointed to a mysterious figure dressed all in black with a small black mask and even had long black hair going down towards his legs.

This man was the last one going to take the test as well.

"That doesn't asnwe-"

"We'll have plenty of chances to talk later for now look at that guy." Grudgingly turning around she did notice how weird the guy was.

He seemed like a robot moving very stiffly and showing only a plain emotion on his face even when he against the Ruler Transformation rhino beast.

The black shade man was in the 10th level of Origin Formation the peak of the realm and out of everyone that came up so far was the strongest there. It looked like he faced no pressure from the beast despite the difference in the realm.

Faster than any Origin Formation cultivator could see the beast rushed the man and expecting another quick failure the man surprised them all when he at the last used Dark Qi to paint the floor in darkness, momentarily slow the beast down and dodged it at the last second.

The beast swiftly turned around but the man already dashed way out of its reach and made the floor go completely back.

The rhino beast attempted to rush the man down but by the time it reached him 5 seconds already passed.

"Good! Now!"

And in a split second, a deep blue crystal beam shot towards the man but the man simply raised his arm and the darkness on the floor rise as a shield and absorb the beam fully!

"Woah that was so cool man!"

"How did he do that?!"

"Wow, that guys is kind of special eh?" Even Lun Yuo couldn't help but comment on him.

"I told you he was weird." Kuzumi joked with her.

A full-power attack completely absorbs this was certainly something no ordinary cultivator can achieve.

"Passed! Alright, test over! Everyone who fails you can now leave."

And with a disappointing sigh, the huge crowd started to clear out as they had no place there.

"Oh look at that there done with tests," Brenda stated looking around the field.

"Huh didn't even notice the time, it flashed by in an instant while we were talking," Kazami said while stretching out.

"Alright, the rest of you! Follow me!" A new tall dignified man came out to the small crowd of people that was left indicating his status.
