Shining Duos

In a desolate tall grassy field which appeared to expand on for miles three flashes of white lights abruptly appeared and what came out was three striking youths who were taking in their surroundings.

Kazami, Kuzumi and Lun Yuo were somewhat surprised by what they saw and can feel. To their right was the grassy field which eventually led to a road most likely heading towards a city. And on their left was a stone road that went on for miles.

The Qi energy in the air was significantly weaker than what they felt in their God Realms and the laws that governed this world seemed far weaker making the trio feel like their on-air compared to what they're used too.

"Ok, first things first seems like we got lucky and was teleport to where no one can see us. Now I have to ask before we even walk you two, will you be ok with killing another human? For some it completely different than killing some monster." Right of the bat, Kazami was serious as this time they were truly separated and can encounter a crisis at any second.

From Kazami question Lun Yuo and Kuzumi was slightly surprised but still, Kuzumi answered first with;

"The thought of killing another human, I never put much thought into it but after going those trials at those games I started to think what if was someone who wanted to kill us? Against someone at that power level, we would be dead without even a corpse so I steeled myself and prepare myself for the true terrors of this universe."

Picking up Lun Yuo answered as well;

"Right in the awake of that monster and my dream I, of course, had to dawn on killing and it's something not a single being can get away from. Although we shouldn't try with unnecessary killing like some would do."

Kazami was satisfied with their answer, himself was always prepared for such things like this as when training with monsters he held no remorse for killing and gotten a little bit excited from this sometimes but told no one.

"Good, the only reason I mention that is because I have no doubts with our looks we would be fat sheep to bandits or generally crazy people as well. So we have to be prepared to kill whatever that want to kill us."

The girls nodded their heads knowing full well it's a kill or be killed world even with their lavish life they lived all this time.

"Should we head on that road? It might take us to a city where we could gather information." Kuzumi pointed out to the dirt road far ahead of them.

"I see no reason why not, oh and keep your hoodies on. We should try to avoid attention as much as possible at least until we advance." And with Kazami agreement they started off to the first step of a long journey.

While on the road the trio saw more humans walking in every direction. They were all either on foot alone, or in a group, riding in a carriage led by monstrous beasts, or riding monstrous beasts.

As they were walking they also felt out the level of these humans and from what they gathered this was a low-level area as most of them were only early level Origin Formation and rarely would they sense a late-stage Origin Formation.

To add on to that most middle Origin Formation were either leading a group or under a late-stage showing the trio, there must be several sects nearby as well.

They decided to follow what most people were heading to which was a decently large-sized city filled with spacious buildings and groups of humans walking about.

No one took particular notice in them as their face was covered and they walked with their head down avoiding eyes as much as possible and their aura was also hidden.

As they neared the entrance of the city Lun Yuo suddenly asked;

"Hey how are going to get any information on anything, were broke!"

"Oh right, hm well at least from what father told me and some books I read there should be a shop where we can trade in monstrous beasts for money in humane realms." Kazami stopped the three of them and started sense around a bit.

While in God Realms his spirit sense was very restricted and could hardly cover any distance but now on this planet he can cover a reasonable distance while also making sure no one discovers him.

He turned west and pointed a fair bit of way saying;

"Over there I sense a monster inside a grassy cave we can surely get that for some money first."

Changing their direction they started to walk faster to where Kazami pointed and eventually they came upon a grassy eerie dark cave.

As they were walking to the cave it was becoming less and less populated to the point where there was no one else around them.

However, from close behind them, they could sense three people that started to follow them once they changed directions.

Although they paid no attention towards whoever the three was once they sensed their levels and continued on into the cave.

As soon as they set foot in the cave however what greeted them was several small red spikes hurdling towards them.

Reacting quickly they dodged out of the way and then;

'Woosh!'

A big red spiky bally shot straight out, right when they dodged and landed in front of them. A monster human-size hedgehog standing on its hind legs is what greeted them. Blood red spikes were menacingly protruding out of it's back and it had distinctive black razor teeth.

Sensing its power they realized it's only a 6th level Origin Formation monster beast. The beast was lightly cautious of the three humans as it couldn't sense their power as it normally could do leading it to watch them warily.

"Hmm, from the aura of the humans we felt when coming here not many were even in the middle of Origin Formation and people seemed to avoid this particular cave meaning this beast is properly quite the feared monster around these parks. I'll take the first kill if you girls don't mind." Kazami walked out in front of them while the two girls only shook their heads while Kuzumi said;

"It's not like we won't be fighting again anyways..."

"Well now they're quickly closing in on us, I'll end it quickly." Since he was still wearing his headband Kazami activated his divine powers gaining a faint silver hue in his eye, and he had a plan for those who were following them.

Faster than what the monster thought of the trio Kazami rushed like a silver flash to the hedgehog-like monster with a red lighting fist. With only mere seconds to react the monster hurriedly spat out a black spit at him.

Not fearing it at all using his other hand he encased the spit in a red ice cube and maneuvered out of its way leading the cube to crash on the ground where the black liquid spilled all out creating a hole in the ground.

Watching it attack failed the monster curled up into a ball protecting itself when Kazami got closed. Then it started to rev itself up to crash into Kazami.

"Like I'll let you!"

Right, when he got at the beast he once again used his second hand and slammed it into the ground and iced the beast legs.

The beast was struggling quickly but the red ice seemed unbreakable while Kazami jumped over it and open his red lighting hand which was actually charging up an attack this entire time.

He unleashed a red lighting ball and;

'BANG!'

It collided with the hedgehog monster tearing straight through the spikes and right through its stomach shooting straight into the cave.

Kazami was able to swiftly overpower and kill it so easily because he master Spirit Elemental Qi which significantly boosted his base power and his divine power had also improved greatly in control.

Not only that the trio was also at the 7th level of Spirit Formation improving their prowess further as well.

Its corpse flew and landed right in front of the girls who was unfazed and was still sensing those people.

Lowering his arm Kazami deactivated his divine powers and walked up to them speaking;

"It's good I finished this quickly cause-"

"They're here." Lun Yuo finished his sentence when a rough voice called out to them.

"Yo kid! You're pretty good for killing that beast! But I can offer something great in exchange for that beast!"

The one who spoke was an average height plump cute woman with short black hair wearing a green uniform robe. Next to her was a muscly man with short brown hair wearing the same uniform and indifferent expression. The last one was a slim kind-looking man with the same uniform wearing a kind smile.

"Oh really? What kind of exchange?"

Kuzumi asked with a playful curious tone knowing what direction this will turn to be.

The woman smiled suspiciously and said;

"Oh trust me you'll love it."
