While Miro wept for poor Shaurillin’s long working life, Katlena Agreta began an independent investigation into the incident.

The agenda that Zilosurua discussed gave open for interpretation in a slightly different path for her, who had recently scoured the capital like a rat and was punishing Alves wizards who visited informally.

‘How do you say you are convinced that the “private” they may be raising is human?’

Katlena Agreta believed that the situation should be solved if the empire’s deep-seated rebels had enlarged their sphere of activity by joining with elves seeking to usurp power in Albheim.

Work would begin as soon as Shaurillin was brought on board, and it was hard to proceed without knowing when he would be stabbed in the back with these impure seeds strewn across the region.

Thus, Katlena Agreta called in Lazian Minral, an aide who had been by her side until the day before yesterday, on her way home from work. And they pretended to enjoy a cozy dinner alone and talked about another “unofficial task”.

The story itself was not long. What Lazian would have to do this time was not a task that required so much information. Katlena just silently took a short letter out of her arms and handed it over to him. It was a letter for her deep ally.

Katlena Agreta has only four aides, even amid the huge Roschodur. Lazian Minral was well aware that he was the only one who could operate as a point of contact and get the honor by delivering letters.

He has no idea what Katlena’s hidden assistant looks like or who it is, but it’s not something an aide would want to know.

At the very least, he knew where the letter could be hidden and given to the assistant. In other words, he could examine the face and identity of the assistant in private at any time by disobeying Katlena’s command for as long as he wanted. In fact, Lazian doesn’t intend to do that at all, but the fact that he is trusted is important.

Trust in the person in charge of the contact was, of course, the foundation when Katlena handed the vital responsibility of delivering letters to helpers. The unique orders he alone could carry out and the deep confidence behind them were an exquisite thrill for Lazian, who had a fanatical reverence for Katlena.

The letter was politely received and collected by Lazian. The letter was only a few pages long. There was no need to compose a detailed account. The content was pretty basic, and it couldn’t have been any clearer. The news will be given quickly after Lazian places the letter in a strange cave, which is normally a “place to communicate”.

A cave with a dismal and frightening atmosphere, where bluish light flashes and pours from the cave’s depths. He was certain there would be something weird in the cave’s depths, but that did not compel him to explore it. That came out as really natural.

He has never wondered more than was allowed to him because he is more loyal to Katlena than anybody else. If they were in the same situation, the other three assistants might do the same thing.

But it’s not simply that he can suppress his apprehension whenever he thinks of the cave.

Lazian licked his lips gently, recalling the cave he had visited countless times. He shortened the inquiry to inquire as to how long he should keep this letter in a cave at the very latest.

“How long?”

“The faster it is.”

“Then I’ll do it for three days.”

“Okay. I’d be happy if you could do that.”

The cave is located on the other side of the continent. Finishing the letter in three days was a declaration that he would eventually cut back on his sleep and meals and push the horse to its physical limits.

Katlena, on the other hand, did not manage to stop Lazian. It was a natural rule, after all. And such was the way the iron-blooded Duchess addressed his devoted subjects.

In reality, unless accompanied by her supervisor, Katlena found Lazian to be a tough assistant to play a year-round position as a warrior.

It was impossible to siphon off combat men at a time when the Alves of the capital were being slain and removed one by one, and were generally employing violent means, thus Lazian was the only proper person to remain. In fact, she frequently leaves her contact information directly with Lazian for similar reasons.

Lupus, a group of four devoted and obedient wizards and assassins who do not engage in murder or violence, just follows her orders.

Lazian, who can only assist with paperwork unless Katlena is in a direct war situation, is a wealthy man who can afford to utilize more variety. That does not imply a lack of trust or importance. He simply believes that each person has the most effective function to play.

As Katlena Agreta walked by, he carefully cut the steak with his smooth hand movements and asked calmly.

“It must have been a long time since you’ve been away; we’ll have to talk about it. Originally, who should be next to you every day you have to assist me? Lazian. I’ll listen to your ideas. As a prize for those who are dedicated.”

“If so, please keep Luke by your side. He’s still young, but he’s the most loyal and most powerful of us, so it’ll definitely help him.”

“I’ll do that. You’re recommending me as a good person when you tell me to choose what I like. Thanks to you, I am always comfortable. Thank you, Lazian.”

“Thank you for accepting my opinion, Duchess Katlena.”

Katlena tilted her head down, a piece of meat in her mouth, while Lazian was gazing. As if to think of anything odd.

Among the four aides, she didn’t take Luke to the administrator very often. This will be a Lazian prize, and I will give it to him because she only confesses that Luke is the most powerful and loyal.

There will very certainly be some disagreement. Other realistic concerns were spread about Luke, aside from how far he could be found out because there’s no way to determine how good Miro Rosway’s detecting talent is.

Luke Mandera, her youngest aide, is the half-brother of the Exploration Minister Isaac Mandera, and Isaac is well aware of this.

‘Will Shaurillin become involved in Mandera’s brotherhood feud? It will be something entirely interesting.’ Katlena Agreta smiled lavishly as she curled her blackened eyelids in a circle at her own fire.

“I’ll help you. I’ll do anything for you. It won’t be scary. It’s okay. I swear to you, even if I give up my life for you, or if I fall into hell. I’m going to save you. I will never leave you alone. I will protect your life.”

The boys cry, clutching both small hands tightly. As a result, even from a younger perspective, he is melancholy. He doesn’t want to sacrifice himself, even if he is aware of that ignorant and biased mind, so all he needs to do is clutch his young hands tightly and force a smile.

That happens from time to time. In a situation where the young upper-handed brothers, who have little age difference, really give full dedication and self-sacrifice that even parents would not give.

In a case when an overly mature brother does not know how to bring greater dedication to a brother who holds the hands of a wretched and sad brother and feels saddened as if it were his own business, and says it is okay adult-wise.

Things like Isaac’s emotions are forced to arrive too soon when children who don’t take care of anyone face an uncomfortable scenario while clutching each other closely.

He strenuously rolls his still youthful head and tricks the devil in the face of something that cannot be solved, with a desperate desire to solve it. It would have been the polar opposite of living alone without having to worry if it had been a hopeless time to enhance your entire life, but in the end, the heart of tender sacrifice would have been the same.

That’s what Isaac Mandera did to Luke Mandera.

It happens to fairies every now and then, just like it does to human brothers. It was something that seemed to be going against the grain. Something along the lines of trying to get out of someone’s life.

However, the finale was not always perfect, and it occasionally failed. Someone had to eventually stand on top of the failure. Someone had to remain in the shadows of success’s tragedy.

Look at what happened to Isaac and Luke Mandera, for example. As though it were something a fairy someplace had gone through.

***

Luke Mandera was lost in thought on his bed for a long time on the morning of having to go to work on behalf of Lazian Minral. A brothers’ irrational devotion and yearning love.

The boy instantly remembered what day it was while reminiscing about the distant and recent past.

In addition to the lovely and terrible memories of the past, the administrator had to go to work today. The expression of gratitude was abruptly and obviously cut off.

To tell the truth, he despised going to work.

It wasn’t because Luke was untrustworthy or disliked getting up early in the morning. It’s not even because the work is too difficult. Even if Luke goes to work as an administrator, he will be unable to assist in the processing of paperwork because he lacks administrative experience.

In truth, all Luke had to do was stand motionless in front of a door. It’s not because he doesn’t want to go, and also not because he’s tired.

Isaac and Luke were half siblings, but their friendship was unfazed by the fact that their moms were not the same. They are, without a doubt, the best brothers on the planet. Luke adores Isaac just as much as Isaac adores Luke.

Isaac did all else he could since he was a person who would have sacrificed his life for Luke, and surrendering his life was not the solution to the situation.

Isaac was the older, sympathetic brother who always responded with a sweet grin, as if he had no intention of making such a sacrifice for Luke.

Luke, on the other hand, lived by doing anything he could for Isaac, as long as it was beneficial.

Luke stated that his relationship with his brother had been too blind over the years. But they had no choice but to do so because they couldn’t live without each other in their reality.

This was undoubtedly the case, at least until Luke met Katlena Agreta, his master. That was the primary motivation behind Luke Mandera’s refusal to go to work.

He overstepped his bounds. Of course, if it’s related to that, Luke gets a little too excited. In any case, he’d gone too far.

He was too much and sat in a high-ranking position unnecessarily, thus he was quite good at making issues. There is a disagreement between the ministers and when Luke’s loving brother, Isaac, and Katlena collide, it’s not just a concerned consultation between the brother’s superior and the friendly brother.

Since the Mandera family is a countess and Agreta family was originally a countess before Katlena became a Duchess, it could be a clash between the counts who produced ministers and the counts who produced wise men.
