Three bulky men along with their master, Zi Yan, were chasing after Nuwa. They were furiously shouting like barking dogs while holding long sticks, to punish her.

Nuwa was crazily running like a frightened bunny, that was chased by a wolf pack, in the middle of a crowded bazaar. She was pushing people to make her way out, so the folks were glaring and cursing loudly to the 'cat and mouse parade' for sudden disruption.

However, the running figures totally neglected the surrounding malaise as they continued their ploy.

Because of that, she was passing sleepless nights and day by day, her physical condition was getting worse. Last week, she almost died as out of nowhere, a wild boar suddenly attacked her. It was so persistent that in the end, she thought it was her doomsday.

However, she was lucky that an unknown mercenary group was nearly passing by. After rescuing her, they suggested her to leave the jungle. It was dangerous to live there without mustering years of survival skills. After experiencing such a violent attack, obviously, she followed their suggestion and secretly returned to the capital. Since she had a lot of money, she was confident that she could hide without being noticed. But who knew that unfortunately, she would bump onto Zi family members on her first day!

After entering the city, Nuwa thought her first priority should be her outlook, mainly clothes because it was tattered and was too noticeable. So she went to a cheap clothing store to buy a few sets of second-hand robes. She bargained with a salesperson for male outfits. She was actually planning to change her female identity because it was impossible to loiter around.

She planned to meet with the baker before she permanently left this country. Sadly, all of the plans were ruined when the vicious Zi Yun's eagle eyes noticed her in the middle of the crowd and secretly followed her.

After Nuwa was done negotiating with the shopkeeper, she took out some tales from her money pouch. The envious Zi Yun burned with rage and jealousy when she recognized the pouch. She was certain that it belonged to the young master.

Obviously, she noticed a few times that Bai Qiang took out it from his sleeves. But now it was in that b*tch's hand! Moreover, it was filled!

'How dare she deceived him! No wonder she was after his money. B*tch!!! It should be me who got his attention, money, and grace. He should be MINE only.'

Recently the Bai family was acting strangely. They were giving them a cold shoulder without any explanation. Bai Qiang even threatened her big brother to not follow Nuwa around.

"This thief has stolen my young master's bag! Please, catch her." Screamed one of the bulky men.

Some passersby also joined in the group and ran along when the others were watching in sidelines.

Nuwa was huffing loudly, her body was running out of energy. She was not sure when they were gonna stop harassing her. It's been a week and they still kept doing so. Thinking about what would happen after they catch her, she shuddered with immense fear. She was damn sure that they will kill her without any hesitation.

She entered into a narrow alley hoping that she'd get out from the chaos, but her luck betrayed her.

It was a dead end.

Her face turned black like the bottom of the pot when she discovered herself cornered. She looked left and right but all the paths were blocked. For the first time of her life, she felt defenseless, her eyes were becoming misty with anxiety. She knew it was impossible to fight back as she did before. So she prepared for the upcoming blows. Or maybe... death!

Zi Yan gave an eerie smile. Finally, he could take revenge. He would definitely let her know what it felt to be humiliated. So, he nodded at the bulky men.

Nuwa's whole body jolted on his creepiness. Slowly, all of them were approaching her.

Ruo Xie was discussing with his subordinates about how to detect Nuwa's whereabouts. He was actually troubled, His Highness ordered him to find someone who looked like the princess.

'Seriously! Has King Lin gone crazy?'

How could he find someone like that? And how could he describe her features to his subordinates without a photo! Wasn't it like finding a needle in a haystack?

It was the most challenging mission he'd ever received. Nobody had ever seen the princess except for him and his three colleagues. They got the privilege because they were her bodyguards, so they had seen her regularly. Other's never got a chance to glimpse her.

Moreover, King Lin specially ordered him to keep the mission secret. So yeah, only a few of the eagle guard members were looking for her. So didn't it mean it was impossible?

Suddenly he heard a shrill cry of a girl. The sound source was very far but his martial art skills helped him.

"What if it was the girl?" He muttered.

His instinct was telling him to go there. So without thinking much, Ruo Xie followed the source.
