From that day onwards many days and many nights passed by. Cassandra was slowly adapting with her body conditions and Dydeme's absence. Her noble and graceful figure more respected among the citizen's. Caius was nowhere to seen but her thoughts always wandering about him.

On this day she needed to make a trip to her people. Well mostly non-human's but vampires. King Dracula gathered all of the vampires and decided to introduce them with her daughter. She saw many of them gazing her with utmost trust and couldn't help but be proud of them. They discuss about their rules for whole day. She wanted to give them a security that they deserved, she wanted to protect those who trusted her.

She would never want to harm innocent people so her punishment would be harsh. This was the beginning of Vampire Empire.

One day she was going to the dark alley to punish one vampire who killed person. Her guards standing behind her like mountains. Her red cloak gives her an enchanting looks.

But when too familiar eyes and face come into her sight she just froze. One pair violet and one pair blue eyes met each other, one of them had a fear but one of them showed indescribable feeling.

One of the guard lunged to him but she blocked him and roared loudly "MATE" under her powerful pressure all guards knelt down. She turned her eyes to Caius and take one step toward.

"Caius" her voice was heavenly but he stopped her

"No, don't come near to me, go-go away" he stuttered

"Caius let me explain, please" she pleaded but he just run away without noticing pain in her eyes. Guards wanted to chase him but she stopped them

"Stefan, just let him go" she said and sighed, all of the guards knew he was her mate and all of them knew how painful it would be to her but none of them dared to say a word to her.

Her lone figure walk to the palace but she didn't want anybody's pity. Sun will rise everyday so she doesn't need to be sad.

Meanwhile in the dark room one figure run into with all his might. He was scared so scared that he was trembling uncontrollably. This was Caius, who become a witness to Cassandra's punishment.

"no way, no way she wasn't Cassandra, but how can she how could she?" his mumbling didn't make any sense even to himself. In her memory Cassandra was a perfect girl, gentle, pretty and very clever. But how can she turn like that. Her eyes color become purple but her face becomes even more beautiful.

He was scared but his heart was beating because of another reason. He felt speechless, her alluring looks filled his entire heart.

Who knows he can't run away from her anymore, that was one and only time he run away from her in this lifetime.
