Even if his sister and most other Devils and Demons didn't acknowledge that Saphirate Crystals were actually worth something, the truth was certainly different.

Saphirate Crystals had many unique uses.

They could be turned into natural sources of light, ground into a powder that could be used to create Saphira Water, a fundamental ingredient for a large collection of potions, and unique weapons could be created with different types of alloys that required molten Saphirate.

The manufactured goods that require Saphirate Crystals were not of a high rank or quality, but the Saphirate Crystal was still a Circleless D+ Rank item that could rarely be found in large quantities.

Selling them for 0.1 Arcanium per kilogram would result in most races throwing their entire wealth at him. After all, one didn't require a huge quantity of Saphirate powder to create Saphira Water. By investing in the Saphirate Crystals, they would inevitably rake in a profit ten times higher than the Arcanium they had invested.

But, of course, Liam would never sell a kilogram of Saphirate crystals for a measly price of 0.1 Arcanium.

The price he chose to sell the Saphirate crystals was 0.5 Arcanium per kilogram. The demand for Saphirate Crystals might not be humongous at this point, but many alchemists and big families would still invest in the Saphirate Crystals. After all, one would never be able to get their hands on such cheap resources in bulk anytime soon.

Saphirate Crystals were extremely rare, after all!

"If you want to earn some Arcanium as well, you should start mining right away. The profit share is still the same as before. Everything you guys hand over to me to sell will give you a 30% share of the profits," Liam clarified while staring at the Saphirate Crystal Mine.

Liam was not exactly sure how many kilograms of Saphirate Crystals could be mined in the Mine but it was definitely in the range of thousands of kilograms. After all, one big Saphirate Crystal might already weigh hundreds of kilograms!

After Liam said what he had to say, he turned his attention away from the girls. He didn't think that it was important to preserve the Saphirate Crystal Mine. It would be raided sooner or later, either way.

Liam would rather destroy it and earn a fortune instead of allow others to earn the wealth he could have claimed all for himself instead.

With that in mind, Liam started to harvest the Saphirate Crystals of the Mine.

He worked tirelessly with one arm first, before he switched over to using his other arm as well once it had healed enough.

In the blink of an eye, an entire week had passed.

Liam and the three girls hadn't seen a glimpse of sunlight for close to ten days. The female Natives were slowly getting frustrated and they began to nag to Liam, telling him that it was about time to return to the surface.

Liam ignored their pleas most of the time. However, after an entire week had passed underground, he had finally earned enough Arcanium to purchase everything he required for the next few steps of his plan.

Furthermore, there was something else Liam had experimented with by utilizing the Arcane Power hoarded by the Livral Orb. When Liam was first notified about the number of Arcanium he could obtain from the Arcane Power that had been created by devouring a single Lesser Rift, he had been shocked.

But that was only obvious because it was simply unexpected.

[The Arcane Power accumulated within the Livral Orb can be sold to the Arcane System for 10,000 Arcanium!]

When Liam saw the notification for the first time, he had a mad urge to sell the hoarded Arcane Power right away. Fortunately, he didn't actually follow his instincts and held himself back.

10,000 Arcanium was a humongous sum, enough to purchase various treasures, even a few Lesser Relics.

However, Liam wanted to use the hoarded Arcane Power to temper his body on a continuous basis. He wanted to increase his Arcane Power stat quickly, without wasting his wealth.

After all, a single increase in rank of his Arcane Power Stat that had been at [D+] would have cost 1000 Arcanium already. This was only a single rank increase from [D+] to [C-]. The subsequent increments would be far more expensive.

The 10,000 would probably be enough to increase his Arcane Power stat to [B-] but that was already it. With the hoarded Arcane Power inside the Livral Orb and constant tempering for seven days and only short breaks to eat, and rest, Liam's Arcane Power stat increased by one rank.

That was not even everything. By constantly using Arcane Power and controlling it precisely, his Will stat increased drastically as well. Furthermore, his physical capabilities were strengthened as well, allowing him to move faster and with more power. That way, he could easily temper his body by mining for seven days straight.

Not only did his Strength, Agiltiy and Stamina stats increase, multiple times at that, but he even earned a vast fortune of Arcanium that was enough to initiate the next steps of the plans he had in his mind.

And as if that was not enough, Liam could still sell the remaining Arcane Power hoarded inside the Livral Orb for more than 9000 Arcanium!

Overall, Liam could be more than satisfied with his overall progress, even if he had yet to create his first Arcane Circle. His status window was the hard evidence of his tireless effort.

The Small Shop still had a stock of more than 3,500 kilograms of Saphirate Crystals that had to be sold but Liam chose to ignore them for the time being. He would slowly and steadily receive the Arcanium from the sales of his Small Shop, either way.

But for now, Liam figured that he had to focus on using up his hard-earned Arcanium.

He couldn't leave the Small Shop as a temporary asset, after all!
