Reincarnated Into Weakest Creature In Monster World

The daily lives of Andrew filled with hunting activities every day. Goblin need to eat much to able to grow faster, the intensive hunting makes the prey around the forest near goblin village become scarce and force them to hunt further from the village. Andrew himself is not worried about starving because, with his botanical knowledge from his previous life, he can identify which fruit is edible and which one is not.

He even wonders why the other goblin never eats fruit to fill their belly, most of them only eat meat from the hunting or fish that they catch from the river near the village. Andrew never sees any a.d.u.l.t goblin come to the village carrying fruit. And thanks to the fruit he eats secretly, his body develops better than other infant goblins on his peerage. In one month after his first time leaves the cave, he already becomes the biggest goblin in his group, makes him entitled as the group leader.

Actually, he doesn't like the duty as the group leader because he must responsible for his group member and must lead them to hunt the prey. But, if he refuses the duty, no one in the group will respect him again. So today he's on the lead to find prey for their meal. They must walk further from the village since prey starts hard to find. With his goblin eyes, Andrew has no difficulty to see any tracks in the ground.

He starts the hunt by going along the river banks because the prey tracks can be found there when they go to the river to drink. And after walking around half an hour, finally, he sees animal tracks over the river bank.

"Guys, I found a track" (In goblin language)

"What kind of animal is that, leader?"

"It's a deer! Take a good look at this track and remember what it looks like. Next time we see this kind of track, we will hunt the deer"

"Leader is awesome! Leader is awesome!"

Member of his group starts to feel excited about the animal that they will hunt. A deer is enough to give the group enough meat for two days. And the way to catch this prey is by circling and bite the deer to death because their wooden club is not affecting much to the deer

"Okay, follow this track!"

The group starts moving into the forest following the track. Andrew sees the track is quite new, indicating the prey is not separate far from their position. With his goblin speed in the forest, they easily follow the track to the source. But when they almost approaching the prey, somehow Andrew start feeling uneasy, like his goblin sense start to tingling

"Guys, be careful!"

"What happens, leader?"

"I feel something dangerous. Move with precautions"

They slow down their walks and move forward with precautions. Andrews feeling is right, ten meters from his standing, he can see a black bear is eating a deer meat. It's the deer that they hunt from the river banks. The bear itself is three times larger and bigger than the goblin.

"Retreat!!"

Andrew gives the order to his group members to retreat, too bad the bear already smells their existence near him with his sharp nose. The bear howling furiously because feeling his meal disturbed. Although Andrew gives his order on time, the bear movement speed is also on par with the goblin despite his big stature. With one long jump from his place eating the deer, the bear is already in front of a goblin who stunned in fear because the bear suddenly already in front of him.

"RUN!! Don't let him catch you!!"

Too late! The bear's paw already flies toward the stunned goblin and turn him into the green minced meat. The other goblin who see the scene scared to their wit's end.

"Run! You fools! Don't stand here! Run!"

Andrew's shouting to his group member to make them leave that place, and like just awaken from a nightmare, his group start flees from the scene. The bear stared Andrew fiercely, his fury directed toward Andrew who makes the little goblin which can be his snack run away. Andrew feels a cold shivers run down on his spine when the bear staring at him. Without further delay, Andrew also starts running.

Too bad! He's the last one who flees from the scene. That makes the bear chasing him, endlessly. Lucky for Andrew, his legs do not disappoint him. With zigzag running, he manages to slowly increase his distance with the bear. After running fifteen minutes finally he can leave the bear far behind him.

"Phew! That's close! If I'm not running away I'll become minced meat like my poor group member"

Andrew's trying to catch his breath after running for so long under a big tree. He's feeling a bit relieved after looking the bear is nowhere to see.

"Where am I? I should regroup with my member and return to the village"

When Andrew about to leaves the place, a loud howl thundered behind him.

It's him! The black bear is here! He's able to follow Andrew using his sharp nose to smell Andrew odor.

"Oh God! Not again!"

Under panic, Andrew climbs the big tree near him. But the bear did not give up. With his strong paws, he starts to hit the tree trunk, which every hit make the tree shaking heavily and a chunk of wood tore from the tree.

"Oh no! He's going to tear down this tree"

Andrew climbs the tree higher, he doesn't have anything to defend himself. His wooden club already ditched when he starts to flee. The only thing on his body is a piece of animal skins that he used to cover his lower part of the body.

"I must move and jump to another tree!"

Although he's on the dangerous moment, Andrew's still able to think clearly. He moves to a tree branch that adjacent to other tree and jump from there. The bear didn't give up and start to hit the tree that Andrew just landed.

"Whoa! He's so persistent! I can't keep jump from tree to tree. I must land on the ground and run"

Andrew starts to jump to the tree that denser with a hope the bear will trouble to move within the denser tree. His tactic succeed to make him can reach the ground safely, but that not make him safe. The bear is still chasing him.

"Shit! What supposed I do? I can't go to the river since bear also a good swimmer. I can't fight him empty handed too"

In his desperate time, suddenly Andrew remember story David vs Goliath. The small David is able to defeat gigantic Goliath only using stone from his sling. Andrew's immediately looking for a stone that hard enough to knock out the bear. He finds some granite stones on the way he runs.

"Lucky! Granite is a hard stone, I hope this can work"

Andrew strips the animal skin on his lower body and uses it as a sling.

Second try…missed too!.

Third try…..hit! Stone hit his body. Not in the fatal spot! The bear getting more furious

"Damn! It's actually so hard to use a sling. I only have two stone remain"

Forth try…...hit! Right in the eye! Critical hit!

The bear is roaring loud because of the pain from his wounded eyes. He stands on his feet and swings his paws wildly.

"Alright, my last chance while he standing like that"

Fifth try…..Hit! Right in his forehead! Fatal hit!

The stone hit the bear's forehead make a loud sound of cracking skull. After standing wobbly for a couple minutes, with a BAM! The bear falls down and no longer moves.

Series of notification ringing in Andrew's ears, but he's too tired to delighted with his first level up. The first thing he did after defeat the bear is taking a rest.
