Reincarnated Into Weakest Creature In Monster World

The fierce battle between the wolves and the goblin still continue for a while. The tactic and weapon range advantage that the goblin had at the beginning of the battle, somehow deteriorated after some time. The fierce wolves that never fear any opponent and their persistence turn the flow of battle are getting unfavorable for Andrew's side. Not many of his subordinates ever fight with an opponent from a higher rank, they surely lack battle experience. Although they have some advantages, those advantages only can cover their weakness. Goblin is the weakest creature in the pyramid of monster power. And soon the battle turns into stalemate and battle of attrition, whoever becomes the last stand would be the winner of this battle.

One by one, casualties in battle increased. For the wolves side, the common wolves that trapped inside the nets already dead or incapacitated leave the only Alpha wolf who struggle fiercely. On the goblin side, Andrew works his hard to help his subordinates handle the loose wolves that not caught in the nets.

The battle reaches the final stage. There's only one wolf left, the alpha wolf, while the rest of the wolves already dead or incapacitated. The goblin also had to pay with a big price, more than a dozen were dead, many of them wounded, heavily or light wounds. It's hard to find a goblin that left unscathed. Even Andrew also had some scratches on his body from fighting the wolves. His body looks like bathed in blood, blood from the wolves and his own blood. It's a gore view if Andrew can see from an outside point of view.

The alpha wolf manages to bite some parts of the net that make his head free but the rest of his body still stuck within the net. Some goblins fall into his victim because stand too near to him and get bitten by his sharp fangs. Until the last of common wolf finally defeated, the alpha wolf still standing and baring his fangs which smeared with blood to the nearby goblins. Although scared, the goblins still aimed their bamboo spear to the alpha wolf from some distance.

"Hold on….this one, I'll be the one who finishes it"

While breathing heavily, Andres steps up toward the alpha wolf. Both of them already reach their limit and this fight would be the final of the battle between the goblins against the wolves. His eyes stare Andrew sharply with hatred because he knows Andrew is the leader of this goblin pack and the cause of the death of many of his wolves pack members.

"GRRRAAOORRR!!"

Although his body already full of wounds, the alpha wolf still able to make a loud roar. It's like intimidating Andrew like saying 'I'm going to kill you!".

Andrew stares at the alpha wolf calmly, not being intimidated a bit from that roar. Watching the dead bodies of his fellow goblins near the alpha wolf make him had a resolution.

"Shut up! It's ain't you who gonna kill me. It's me who will kill you. Then we will feast on your flesh and suck your marrowbones and use your furs for clothes".

"GRRROOOWWRR!!"

Like understand what Andrew said, the alpha wolf roars in a louder sound. If put in words, it would like 'I will rip you into pieces, drink your blood to the last drops then slaughter the rest of your goblin flock'.

Both of them stared each other again with full hostility intent. Andrew grips the sword in his hands tightly, ready to strike the alpha wolf anytime. With the remaining of his strength, Andrew knows he can't fight for too long. He's waiting the right moment to deliver a fatal blow to the alpha wolf. He also knows ordinary attack wouldn't cause lethal damage to alpha wolf since his skin and furs are obviously thicker than the common wolf. Andrew raises the sword in his hands highly, like want to slam it to wolf's head whenever he comes. This stance also looks like an invitation to alpha wolf to attack him.

The alpha wolf baited with this stance. With a loud roar, he charged toward Andrew with all his might, dragging the goblins that hold the nets with him. Although a little, this drag allowed the goblins to slow down the alpha wolf giving Andrew a chance to correcting his stance and give a fatal blow. He drops his hands that hold the sword, changes from slash into stab position with one hand hold the sword hilt and the other hand push the end of the sword hilt. With a swift sprint, Andrew also charges to the alpha wolf with one spot he aimed to stab with his sword, that spot is the alpha wolf's opened mouth.

The alpha wolf didn't think that Andrew will change his stance and charge into him. He thinks Andrew will wait for him and slash him with that sword, a fatal mistake that he made. When he realizes it, Andrew already close to him, it's too late to close his mouth. The sword stabbed deep into his mouth and got through into his neck, bring a lethal blow to the alpha wolf, didn't even give him a chance to wailing.

The battlefield becomes silent for a moment before loud victory cries come out from the goblins that still standing there. Andrew let go the sword in his hands, make the alpha wolf fell down to the ground with the sword still in his mouth.

"I…I made it…I still alive…"

Andrew's legs finally gave up after such tremendous stress relieved and make Andrew sit down in the ground. While breathing heavily and try to regain his strength, Andrew looks at his surroundings. The ecstatic goblins who celebrate their victory enter his sight first then the goblins that laying on the ground because their wound also enter his sight. Andrew knows although the battle is over, there're still a lot things to do for the aftermath battle.
