Chapter 7 - Reconstructing the body

Suddenly a pair of red eyes lit up in the darkroom and stared at him.

Night Shadow found himself in a triangular room. It was a big room with no windows

Night Shadow saw the pair of red eyes looking at him. It was Deus Prime. Instantly, Night Shadow bowed to Deus Prime like a knight bowing to his king. Dues Prime smiled and nodded in satisfaction.

Another 12 pairs of either blue, or pink, or red, or white lights looked at him. Night Shadow knew they were in a triangle formation with him in the center.

"Rise, Night Shadow", Deus's deep voice commanded.

Night Shadow rose to his feet.

Before Night Shadow could tell anything, Deus said, "Your wish was quite a surprise to us. After all, hardly any bot knows about Energon, much less Rarified Energon. We will give your prize but I would like to know, where did you get to know about Rarified Energon?"

Night Shadow froze. He did not know how to answer that question. It would seem stupid if Night Shadow told Deus that he reincarnated into a transformer and knew the future of Cybertron. Night Shadow started thinking very, very hard. Deus noticed how Night Shadow was struggling to answer and was hesitating on forcing the question but he needed to know how Night Shadow knew about a top-secret item.

Night Shadow kept thinking for 5 minutes before he said, "I am sorry Creator Deus. If I told you the reason, then it would seem very unimaginable"

Night Shadow couldn't tell he knows about Rarified Energon.

After few minutes of silence, Deus said, "I would like you to tell me anyways, no matter how unimaginable it seems"

Night Shadow started getting tensed up. He didn't know how to say it.

'What to say...what to say...'

Suddenly, Night Shadow got an idea.

Night Shadow seriously said, "Creator Deus, I hope you will keep this a secret...I am the last descendant of the Beastbots"

Silence permeated the room but Night Shadow continued.

"We, the Beastbots, knew about the Energon, so naturally, we knew about the Rarified Energon. We were completely made by the Rarefied Energon. Just before my previous death, a few pieces of my core had stayed with me. When the bots created me, I attached the pieces of the Warp core to my current core. Although I can transform into a beast, it will take a lot of energy to do so"

After saying this, the Thirteen Primes became shocked. They never expected a Beastbot to stay alive till today. Of course, they could build a Beastbot but having an actual Beastbot in front of them was just amazing.

Deus did not dare offend Night Shadow and said with respect, "Sir, if you don't mind, could you transform"

Night Shadow internally sighed in relief. He thought they wouldn't accept this lie. But now, Night Shadow focused back on reality.

"Alright", said Night Shadow.

'System, transform me into a beast'

[Ding! Yes, host]

Night Shadow again felt the gears inside his body moved, the hydraulics hissed, his hands turned into claws, his body changed, his face became long and sharp, two wings sprouted from his back, a long pointy tail extended from his back, his neck elongated and sharp teeth sprouted in his mouth. But the room was just enough for him to transform.

Although the Thirteen Primes had seen a lot of things, they were still amazed by the transformation of a real Beastbot. The Thirteen Primes looked funny when they looked like they were trying to bury the transformation into their core.

ROAR!!

Night Shadow converted into a dragon and roared. The Thirteen Primes were amazed by Night Shadow. Night Shadow looked at them calmly but the Primes all felt their danger signals going off. They all looked at him from every gear to gear.

When they were done, Deus said, "Alright, sir. You may transform back into the bot form"

Night Shadow transformed back into a bot and said, "May I leave with the prize?"

"Of course"

Deus moved and many huge metallic crates came floating from behind him. There were at least two thousand of them. They all came in front of Night Shadow and touched the ground

Deus asked, "But, how will you carry them?"

Night Shadow replied with a smile, "Please, close your eyes. Do not open them no matter what happens"

Deus and the others did not what Night Shadow was going to do but nonetheless, they closed their eyes.

'System, put these crates into the storage'

[Ding! Yes, host]

Suddenly, the crates lifted and went to the storage. Night Shadow saw that 3 slots were completely filled. Night Shadow became satisfied.

Night Shadow then said, "Creators, you may open your eyes"

The Primes opened their eyes and saw that there were no crates left anymore. The shock could be seen on Deus and the other's faces. But the shock quickly turned back to the neutral face.

Deus said, "If you would like to leave, then you may. If you ever need our help, please don't hesitate to come to us"

Night Shadow replied while bowing, "Yes, Creator Deus, I would like to return"

"Alright, try not to get startled, okay?"

"Huh? What do...."

Before Night Shadow could say anything, the platform beneath him opened and Night Shadow fell. Night Shadow got startled but recovered quickly. Suddenly, his speed increased and...

BOOM!!

The sound barrier broke. Night Shadow was currently traveling faster than the speed of sound. Night Shadow only smiled as his speed continued to increase.

After 10 minutes of falling, Night Shadow's falling started to decrease and in another 10 minutes, he touched the ground.

Night Shadow saw the four translucent walls retract to the sides of the square and he started walking towards the exit of the corridor. It Night Shadow five minutes to reach the reception and leave the Tower.

Right now, his goal was to head to an empty place and start reconstructing his body. So he started searching for a place on the map for a long time before he found a suitable one. Night Shadow started heading to the barrier of the city. After 10 minutes of walking, he crossed the barrier, transformed into Black Demon, and flew away to the destination.

It took Night Shadow 3 hours to reach the destination. The destination was a barren land with nothing there. Just nothing.

Night Shadow nodded in satisfaction. This was the best place to reconstruct his body without any bot disturbing him. Night Shadow took out one of the metallic crates and opened it.

A blast of energy exploded out of it and calmed down the next second. Night Shadow looked over and saw a translucent material that was in the shapes of solid bricks. Night Shadow held one of the bricks and felt it was very light. He kept it back and nodded in satisfaction. It was indeed Rarified Energon. Although he had never seen it before, his "guts" just told him it was.

Night Shadow nodded and said, 'System, deconstruct all the bricks and start replacing them with the Cybertronian Osnium in my body'

[Yes, host]

Instantly, Night Shadow's right arm turned into a gun with a huge muzzle, just like the one when he had absorbed. But this time, instead of a suction force, an unfamiliar force went from his arms through the muzzle to the bricks. The bricks that came in contact with the unfamiliar force started melting. Night Shadow's mouth opened so wide, it looked like a black hole.

'How powerful must be this force to even start melting a material which even had regenerative properties?!'

It took 1 hour to melt all the bricks in the metallic crate and a translucent liquid was left in the metallic crate. Without wasting any time, he started absorbing the translucent liquid.

The unfamiliar force vanished and was replaced by the suction force. The suction caused the translucent liquid to start flowing through the muzzle throughout Night Shadow's whole body. Night Shadow suddenly started feeling an uncomfortable feeling inside his body. Night Shadow wanted to stop it but focused on absorbing the liquid. It took 10 minutes for the liquid to finish in the crate. The moment the liquid finished, the uncomfortable feeling also went.

Night Shadow took out another crate and started repeating the process. He kept doing this for 2 days and all of the Cybertronian Osnium was destroyed and replaced by Rarefied Energon. Night Shadow's body color was shining(black). He looked like he was recreated. Night Shadow also felt an unfamiliar feeling inside him. Night Shadow converted his left arm into a hammer and hit his right arm with full force.

Crack!

A hair-like crack formed on his right arm but the next moment, it vanished. Night Shadow smiled in excitement. The regenerative property of the Rarified Energon was really amazing.

Night Shadow removed the remaining metallic crates and opened them. He saw many wires coming out of them, a pair of eyes, and many more different electronic parts. Night Shadow became excited and started absorbing them.

It took him another day to absorb all the crates. Night Shadow felt everything around him became much more clear. His eyesight(his eyes are purple color), hearing became sharper, and his radar could search for more far places. Night Shadow felt as if got enlightened and experienced rebirth.

Night Shadow felt amazing but came out of the feeling and smiled. Haven't three days got over? Night Shadow got again participate in the tournament. Night Shadow couldn't help smile when he thought about the XP he could get from killing all the bots.

Night Shadow kept at all the crates in his storage just in case he ever needed them. Night Shadow transformed into Black Demon and flew away. This time it only took him 10 minutes to reach because he flew faster than the speed of sound. He transformed into a bot after crossing the city barrier and ran towards the stadium.

Night Shadow took 10 minutes to reach the stadium and went inside. Night Shadow and went towards the golden bot.

It took him 3 minutes to reach and told the golden bot, "I want to participate. Can I?"

The golden bot smiled at Night Shadow and said, "Of course. Please head to the resting area if you do not have anything else to do"

Night Shadow nodded and headed to the resting area.

When he reached inside, Night Shadow he saw a lot of bots. Night Shadow smiled and said, "Hey idiots, during the match I want all of you bastards to come at me. I want to see what kind of strength you all have against me. It will take me too long to kill every one of you. Understood, pigs?"

Again, no bot replied to him and he kept smiling.

After 10 minutes of waiting, a voice came, "Head to the battlefield"

All the bots started heading to the arena and in a few minutes, they reach the platform. Crowds were talking excitedly, the lights focused on them and they spread out in the circle. Night Shadow was hit by nostalgia and became serious.

The countdown finished and the horn resounded through the arena. Most of the bots went towards Night Shadow but a few stayed and fought with each other. Night Shadow saw this and became angry.

Night Shadow transformed his arm into the Void Disintegrator Gun and started shooting the bots who came to him furiously.

Wizz~

Wherever his bullet went, the targeted bot would vanish. The other bots saw this and tried running away from him but how could Night Shadow just let them run?

Night Shadow killed all the bots in 20 minutes. There was not even a scratch on Night Shadow's body and let out a sigh in relief.

'Thankfully the few bots who were fighting with each other did not die and I killed them. I don't know what would happen if they were killed'

The crowd started chanting Night Shadow's name when they realize who it was. But became pin-drop silent when they heard a deep voice.

"Congratulations to Night Shadow for winning his second battle. As his prize, he may ask us for one wish"

Night Shadow seemed to anticipate this and secretly sent a message to Deus saying, "Creator Deus, as my wish, I would like to obtain the restricted mechanic knowledge"

Creator Deus said, "Okay, meet us today after the match but now, tell a wish like "I would like to obtain more mechanic knowledge" or something"

"Okay"

Night Shadow came back to the arena and said with respect, "I would like to obtain more mechanic knowledge, Creator Deus"

Creator Deus did not say anything for a while before saying, "Alright, head to the Tower"

Creator Deus's voice faded and Night Shadow let out a sigh. Night Shadow started walking towards the exit and started seeing the messages sent by the system.

'System, show me my stats'
