Night Shadow did not do anything and let the shadows come towards him. Well, he already knew there were "assassins" in the room because his radar was always on. For now, Night Shadow thought it would best if he went with the play.

The assassins were covered in black clothing and none of their body parts was exposed. Well, your typical assassins. There were four assassins in the room, who came towards Night Shadow and pinned him to the ground with their weapons ready to suppress any resistance from Night Shadow.

Suddenly, Gnindic started smiling evilly as he asked, "Surprised, Night Shadow?"

"What?", Gnindic gave nodded to one of the assassins and the assassin pulled Night Shadow's head by his hairs.

"Why...Why?! I trusted you!", Night Shadow said in a fake sad, and betrayed tone.

Gnindic kept smiling and said, "Well, if you trusted me so much, you are nothing but a fool. You're too naive! Although I was surprised when the poison of the food did not work on you, you fell for it this time. I bet you didn't see this coming, did you?"

'I did', Night Shadow smirked inwardly but did not show it on his face.

"You put poison in my food?! Why?!! Wha-what d-do you w-w-want f-from m-me?", Night Shadow said in a terrified voice.

"N-n-nothing. I just want to hear you scream for mercy when I torture you", Gnindic stuttered as he mocked Night Shadow. His smile became eviler and his face became crazier.

Seeing the combination of the Gnindic's crazy face and his fat body made Night Shadow look down and stifle a laugh. The assassins and Gnindic looked at Night Shadow as if he was an idiot. Night Shadow looked at Gnindic and could not hold back the laughter.

"Pffft...Hahahahahahahaha...hah...hah...Please...stop...talking...nonsense...hahaha...", Night Shadow pleaded between his laughing.

"What?! What's so funny?! Huh! Tell me!", Gnindic said angrily as the fat on his belly moved up and down.

Night Shadow saw this and started laughing even harder than last time. Night Shadow kept banging the floor with his fists and rolled from side to side. The assassins looked dumbfounded as they saw Night Shadow escape their clutches and Gnindic looked even angrier. Just when Gnindic was about to move towards Night Shadow, Night Shadow stopped laughing and said coldly...

Night Shadow increased the temperature and the flesh started sizzling even faster. Gnindic could tolerate it at first but he couldn't now. Gnindic fell on his knees and screaming.

"Please stop!!! I will do whatever you want me to do!! Please just stop!!", Gnindic said pleading in a pain-filled tone.

Night Shadow increased the temperature and asked, "Are the map and the location of the device on the map real?"

Gnindic nodded vigorously while in pain.

Gnindic disappears and Night Shadow hears a ding in his head but now it not the time for stalling. Night Shadow has a bad feeling and so, his only option now is to escape. Night Shadow looks around the room and finally sees his escape route. The window. Night Shadow clenches his hands into a fist and uses full power to punch it.

Night Shadow looks and sees that the result of that punch was only a small crack. He becomes surprised at the sturdiness of the window but starts punching it again. Although his defense was very strong(Because he is made of Rarefied Energon), his strength is still not enough.

He still had one more thing left to do in the middle ring and that was to find the teleportation device so he could go to the innermost ring. Night Shadow started flying towards the ocean as the guards started reaching Night Shadow. Night Shadow had an idea in mind but he was lacking something, so he asked the system.

'Hey system, at what level can I start storing living beings in the storage?'

Just when Night Shadow was 100 meters away from the barrier, he saw that the barrier had started becoming more real. Night Shadow thought about what was going on when something from below it struck him. A weapon from one of the guards hit Night Shadow and stuck to his body. Night Shadow did not care and started thinking about what was happening to the barrier when it hit him. The barrier was solidifying.

The previous translucent silver barrier was starting to turn more solid by the second and the speed of the solidifying process was only increasing. Night Shadow tried increasing his flying pace but couldn't anymore.

With Night Shadow at the tip of the vortex, the water started reducing faster and faster. Night Shadow did his best to stand as he waited for the vortex to disappear.

Just when Night Shadow thought he could no longer stand, the whirlpool vanished and beneath the spaceship was an empty dark hole that stretched for miles.

Night Shadow did not waste time and said, "Athena, descend and start the search"

"Yes"

Night Shadow went inside as the lights of the spaceship turned on and the spaceship started descending towards the empty hole.
