Reborn: The Lion To Hunt The Wolf

Li Rong's head and the body was covered with dirty s**t. As a fusion of decaying vegetables and rotten eggs, all blended up with rotten meat, the stench that permeated through the air was enough to make anyone gag.

Li Rong's stunning face morphed into a rage as he turned to look at the direction where the waste came. Looking up, he saw two brats standing on a tree branch with a large grin on both their faces, an empty bucket was hanging from one of their hands.

Wei Wan's eyes widened as she saw what had happened to Li Rong. She narrowed her eyes as she stared at the two boys in the tree. The foul smell that wafted up from Li Rong was more than she could bear. Stepping away from him, she turned her attention back to the tree.

With her hands on the h.i.p.s and a look of fury on her face, she yelled: "You ill-breed brats, get down from there! I will tea----"

'Plop....' Once again, a horrible smell was released as this time, a balloon filled with the same contents as the bucket was thrown.

This time, instead of it hitting the body, it broke directly on Wei Wan's mouth. Wei Wan's pale face turned blue as she vomited continuously with teary eyes.

Uncle Wang and Mrs. Shen laughed out loudly as they saw the state of the nasty couple. Mrs. Shen showed a smile that was not a smile and remarked: "Those two are perfect for each other. Both of them smell like S**t."

Being the only heir of the Lis', Li Rong was never disgraced like this before. "Yue Wan!" He burst out in a rage while glaring a silhouette in a window that was watching the proceedings with amus.e.m.e.nt.

Mrs. Shen requested Uncle Wang to capture her sons, who quietly slipped from the tree, and trend trying to make a break for it.

"Honk...Honk!" a car arrived near them, and shortly a maid appeared from the villa. She murmured in Mrs. Shen's ear before stepping aside and waiting for her orders.

Mrs. Shen waved her hand as she dictated, "That's Little Wan's friend. Let her pass."

Wei Wan knew that the car belonged to the Chen family. She regretted coming to the Yue mansion and let someone else witness her humiliation.

Mrs. Shen let out a pronounced sigh and in a cold, resonant tone looked at Li Rong and Wei Wan, and said: "Get Out!" Then she turned around and went back into the house, no longer bothering with the trash outside of the gate.

Li Rong's face twisted into a rage as he wiped the slime off of his face. He clenched his jaw and narrowed his eyes as he stared at Yue manner. He would not forget about this day for a long time. Turning around, he headed back towards his car and left the mansion with Wei Wan crying beside him.

----Back in Li's car-----

Wei Wan yammered furiously about Yue Wan and Mrs. Shen: "That Bi**h old woman causes this all. I will teach those brats a lesson."

Li Rong's vein pulsed in his forehead as he listened to Wei Wan's whimpering. He was also pissed off about what just happened. His foot pressed down harder onto the gas pedal as he thought about what happened, and the car jumped forward, picking up speed.

Wei Wan's blood ran cold as the speed increased. Clenching the seatbelt, she panicked: "Rong baby, slow down."

Li Rong gripped the wheel and slammed on the breaks. The tires squealed as the locked up, causing the car to go out of control for a second before coming to a stop.

Wei Wan was flung forward and then to the side as the car went out of control. Before it had stopped, she slammed her head on the passenger's window and was stunned.

Li Rong did not lose control of himself during the entire time the Wei Wan was panicking. Once the car had stopped in the middle of the road, he slapped the steering wheel in annoyance: "Uhh.....Uh."

"Ron.....g ba...by Wha.." Wei Wan stuttered as her head spun. She couldn't concentrate on what was going on.

Li Rong unbuckled his seat belt, ran out of the car, and rushed to Wei Wan's door. Using all of his strength, he grabbed Wei Wan and pulled her from the car. Flinging her to the ground, he started to scream and yell.

"Shut up, you Bi**h. I have lost 15 million dollars because of you, and now I have had sh** poured all over me."

Forcefully gripping her chin, he brought her eyes up to his level. "That old woman is the wife of the Deputy Chief of Police, Mr. Shen. Do you have any idea what you have done?"

Leaving her lying on the road, Li Rong returned to his car and sped away, abandoning Wei Wan without a second thought.

Terror struck Wei Wan as she stared at the car getting smaller, and smaller. She flinched, horrified at his cruelty. How could he leave her like this? What was she to do now?

After a few moments, Wei Wan heard a car approaching. Looking up, she saw Li Rong returning to her, and yet Wei Wan didn't move.

It's true that Li Rong loved Wei Wan, but it is also true that he loved himself more. After what happened today, his true nature was revealed as he lost his cool for the first time.

He had come to a conclusion. 'I need Yue Wan more than I need Wei Wan.'

At the same time, Wei Wan also learned an important lesson from this. She finally understood that she was nothing more than a pawn, one that could be abandoned at any given moment if she was no longer useful.

That was the start of the first conflict between these two.

----In the hospital-----

In the special care ward, the wailing sound of a woman was heard. With a half-burned face, she yelled in anguish. "Where is my face? Who took my beautiful face? Bring it back! Bring my face back!" She threw the pillows across the room and broke all of the things near her. The nurses and Doctors tried to sedate her, but she picked up an IV stand and flung it over their heads. "Ahhhh, all of you are that Bi**h's subordinates. Stay away from me! Stay away..."

A man in his 20's stood before the door to the hospital room. He ground his teeth and clenched his hands as he gazed into the room and saw the insane woman's rampage. He had similar hair and eye color as the crazy woman, who was finally restrained by nurses and doctors with the help of the security staff.

"Doctor, can she give her statement in the trial tomorrow?" The man asked with tense facial muscles.

The doctor looked at him and shook his head. "I'm sorry, Mr. Tian, your sister is not in any position to leave the hospital. Her mind is not steady, and it would be detrimental to both her physical and mental health to be released from the hospital."

Tian Mein was the only son of the Mayor and the brother of Tain Li (the person who assaulted Yue Wan). He was the mastermind behind the attack, and yet he did not take things into careful consideration, resulting in his only sister being injured. He pounded on a nearby wall with his fist in sheer agony as he berated, "That useless sister of mine. Why can't she quiet down for a day?! I need to find a way to create enough of a disturbance at WAX in my sister's name to obstruct that Wh**e's exam. A trial would have been perfect, except that Sister isn't smart enough to know when to calm down."
