Xiao Hua already removed his face mask, so his purple eyes lashed with indignance and anger, much like lightning did on a pitch-black night.

"Her name is Yue Wan, " he chanted.

Grandfather Xiao wrinkled his nose in bafflement. When he saw the attitude of Yue Wan in person, his heart pulsated with a d.e.s.i.r.e: 'What if she became my grand-daughter in law?'

Not giving any face to Xiao Hua, he walked back to his room.

Before he reached half of the distance, Xiao Hua clapped his hand to get his attention.

Grandfather Xiao halted his steps

Once his Hua left the villa, Xiao Ran appeared at her Grandfather's door and found him sitting on the bed, staring ahead. "Grandfather. Are you alright?"

Staring at the chibi Xian Hua and Xiao Ran's picture with half-lidded eyes, he muttered, "This was your father's favorite pic."

Xiao Ran strolled in and sat next to him, "Yes, I remember this was taken when we first entered school."

In the frame, they both were posing before their kindergarten on their first day of school.

She wore a green dress with a red hair clip, while her brother was dressed in a black hooded jumper. She had an adorable smile and he had a smirk.

Grandfather Xiao placed the frame back to its place and sighed. "The Xiao cooperation is haunted by treacherous people, so taking one wrong step would cause us to lose everything."

"But, Young Miss Wan is the right choice for him."

"Don't you start it too."

Xiao Ran pursed her lips into a thin line and walked out, but not before she stated: "Grandfather, give her a chance to prove what is really going on before you come to a conclusion."

The room became quiet as Grandfather Xiao touched his bear and muttered, "I understand his feelings for Miss Yue from the way he talks about her, yet why did he mention daughters instead of children? Did he misspeak?"

'Ouch Ouch...That hurt so much. Yo, Lunatic Doctor watch where you are touching! Ah! Ah! Don't touch there.....Nooo!'

Tears streamed down Little Bao's face as he could no longer contain himself.
