It took a long time after Legolas walked along that the chubby lady finally learned of her missing purse, she screamed in alarm but the culprit already disappeared among the dozens of pedestrians.

After coming down from the Mountain Toad, Legolas did not recognize his surroundings so he decided to spend the night in the woods.

With Predator alongside him, he was no longer as vulnerable as before, he was now a real Summoner who could handle himself alone in the wild.

The next morning, he hid the airbag containing Lucky in a safe location before leaving to find the nearest shelter. To avoid dragging too much attention, he told Predator to hide while he went inside the shelter alone.

Of course, when entering a new location like this, the most important resource was money, and that was why he stole from the chubby lady.

He was able to get 800 Darvis credits from her purse which was a lot. He used the money to go to a restaurant, have a nice meal, get a map of the shelter, and where he also got information about the shelter.

According to the information vendor, this was the Blue Scale Shelter.

The name rang no bells in Legolas's head but he was not surprised, Dominator was so big that even as one of the game producers, it would be impossible for him to remember every single location in the beginner planets.

One thing that stood out about this small shelter though was that the Pugilist Academy was the only established power in the region.

There was no Elementalist and Summoner Academy, and the other powers were small fries compared to the ruling Pugilist Academy.

After leaving the Summoner Academy in the Gwen Shelter, Legolas had no intentions of tying himself to another major power.

After thinking for over 3 years, he already arrived at his perfect development template and it involved him continuing his journey as a rogue warrior.

With his knowledge, he would benefit more by roaming everywhere rather than tying himself to a single location.

The only problem that he had though was some nagging curiosities that he still couldn't satisfy. After 3 years in this world, he already confirmed that the Clown Society was not yet a major power on the planet.

From his previous life, he already remembered part of the main storyline of this beginner planet. Planet Darvis had 4 good organizations, the 3 academies of the main classes and the Hunter Union.

Apart from the good organizations, there were 2 lawful evil organizations in the form of the Mercenary Online organization and the Crimson Blades which was an assassin organization.

There was one last organization on Planet Darvis though, the Clown Society which was the only chaotic evil organization on the whole planet.

The Clown Society led by the villain called the Clown took a huge part of the main storyline, so Legolas felt it weird to not have heard of them yet.

"Are there some other differences between this world and the game?" He thought as he rubbed his chin.

Legolas felt even more baffled as he suddenly remembered something very important. "What of the players? There's no Dominator without the players".

The players were the main catalysts of the game, the NPCs were all created to entertain the players, and the players were actually the most important pieces on this chess board so they absolutely could not be removed.

As Legolas thought of this, his virtual game interface suddenly lit up.

On seeing this, Legolas was shocked. "Beta testing?"

Back then, most beta testing slots were bought by huge corporations or were taken by the game developers like him, only a few were later released through normal players through lottery tickets.

This was when Legolas also remembered that 5 days in Dominator translated to a day in the real world. "Will this rule apply here too?" He was curious.

If this rule applied, then he would surely have a great advantage over the players once the game was finally launched officially.

Legolas did not pay too much attention to it but knowing that Version 1.0 would officially launch in 35 days, he suddenly felt his mind at peace as it finally felt like he was returning to familiar ground.

"This feels more like it".

Legolas was about to resume planning but his game interface lit up again.

On seeing this, Legolas was even more surprised. "Wow, I now have NPC functions unlocked and I even still retained the discussion board, damn!" He was hyped.

As one of the game producers, Legolas knew the NPC functions and also knew how lucky he was to have access to such an exclusive cheat.

The discussion board was where players across the server communicated. It was basically a worldwide group chat exclusive to players.

Legolas instantly tried to access the discussion board. He successfully accessed the discussion board but he could not register as a player to chat there.

In the end, only real players could chat there but the fact alone that he could see their chats were already more than anything that he bargained for.

"Well, this was unexpected, it calls for a celebration".

As Legolas ordered more drinks and food to celebrate this surprise from his game interface, he also started planning for his future.

In the Blue Scale Shelter, the best way to get stronger was to either align with the main Pugilist Academy or any of the small fries to join the chaotic struggle.

He didn't want any of these 2 options though. "What if I can like just isolate myself, stay in the middle, helping no sides, and reap benefits from both sides?"

"Feels like a nice plan, I should definitely try it out".

"Lastly, I need to prepare for the grey world meeting, it's in 5 days".
