July seventh is Qixi Festival. Neither Mo Jingxuan nor Xiao Ying went to the company but stayed home with Xiao Yao instead. After Xiao Yixiu chose to sever ties and return to China to take over the Zhao family, Xiao Yao was constantly depressed.

Do whatever you need to get back at him.” He had done his best to raise Zhao Lingjun’s son, but his innate nature never changed despite his efforts. No matter how much he cared for him, he would never allow someone to hurt the child Jun Ying left for him; it was time for him to learn the consequences that came with his actions.

“En.” The two did not refute Xiao Yao’s words, they wouldn’t take the initiative to hurt someone, but once someone made a move against them, they would not hold back.

Seeing that the two agreed, Xiao Yao waved his hands, “Okay, today is Qixi Festival, you two should go first and celebrate, don’t let me bother you. I want to go on a walk with Qin Yong.”

With its increase in popularity, the economy of the northern suburbs was stimulated, and even the surrounding areas had developed. It was no less than a miracle in the business world, and the media had reached out more than once, but the boss behind the scenes of XM never showed up. All the interviews that were accepted were with low-level employees; anyone else was out of bounds.

Knowing that Rising Sun belongs to XM as well, people’s curiosity about the real face of its boss was unprecedentedly high. The more mysterious something was, the more attention it would garner, but no matter how the masses scratched their heads, XM still calmly ignored them.

Xiao Ying, who had just entered the meeting room, raised his eyebrows as he looked at this scene, “What’s the matter?”

“Hey….” All the shareholders looked at Xiao Ying and collectively sighed.

An old shareholder known for his straightforwardness shook his head slightly as he said, “We regret it. We should have listened to you…stupid, stupid.” Now that they had seen the young president’s ability and business intuition, they knew just how idiotic their past actions had been in looking down on him.

“It’s that land!” The old shareholder smacked the table with an annoyed expression, “It was so cheap! The land you wanted us to buy was obviously so good, but now that XM group has it! Why didn’t we listen, why didn’t we listen?! Now that it’s been demolished, it’s basically a nest of gold!”

“Heh–” Xiao Ying chuckled and tapped his fingers slowly on the table, “I remember now. It is indeed quite a shame. But putting the past behind us, let’s continue on with our meeting.”

“Wait!” A younger shareholder interrupted suddenly, “Mr. Xiao recommended more than just one piece of land last time! We can still get the others!”

The eyes of the other shareholders in the room lit up with greed as they hastily nodded.

Mo Jingxuan pinched the bridge of his nose happily as he laughed in his heart. It was already far too late for them to get anything. The new concept and profits from the Ancient Tribe were enough for them to gain all the lands they were aiming for already; there was nothing left for the Xiao group to snatch… It’s really a pity; if it weren’t for their lack of funds, they could have already started the construction on those lands.

Xiao Ying waved his hand, “Go later and check first if the land is still free.” They can see for themselves what their past actions have cost them.

The shareholders accepted that they would have to look at it later and quieted down to go on with the meeting as per usual. Everything was normal on the surface, but everyone was still a little out of sorts for its duration.

XM was developing steadily. It was not until the development of the land was completed that Xiao Ying convinced Mo Jingxuan to let him release the news to the media in a high-profile way. On the day the apartment was officially done, the president of XM announced he would personally participate in the ribbon cutting.

This news earned enough exposure for XM that it was all anyone could talk about for days.

As rookies in the business world, both large and small businesses were invited to the event.

Among the families invited to come were the Mo family, who had been silent for a long time due to the damage done to their reputation, and the Zhao family, that was in dire straits under Xiao Yixiu’s management. Of course, the Xiao family was also invited as Xiao Yao was still kept in the dark about the length of his son’s accomplishments.

It was the day of the ribbon cutting, and the media had come to the scene early to snatch the best seats for pictures. The mysterious boss was finally going to show his face.

Many families had been stagnant for quite some time, and this could be the opportunity they needed to develop further. The vitality and strength that the XM group seemed to command at ease was something to be coveted!
