2 months after Yingyue assumed the position of the CEO of the Xiao Group, under her leadership nearly all companies under her group had a sudden increase of sales and profit of at least 6%. Since the Xiao Group was already extremely successful, the increase was a big deal.

Meanwhile on Ye Jiangyu's side, sales and profit was slowly dropping. A few people were already predicting that the Xiao Group would take over Ye Cooperation's No.1 spot. However most people thought that it was still too far-fetched as the difference between the two was not small.

Ye Jiangyu finally realised that Xiao Yingyue was becoming a proper threat and despite the fact that he 'loved' her, he had to fight back.

Xia Zhilan however only saw it as a sad attempt to survive. She still righteously claimed she was doing it for the betterment of this world and ruthlessly attacked him. A new CEO hoping to compete with a renowned business legend?

Ye Cooperation's world class cyber security was breached and the anonymous hacker managed to destroy 45% of their customers private information and 5% of the company's top-secret files.

Ye Cooperations made a loss of over 38.6 billion US dollars and thousands of customers are suing or threatening to sue. This added an extra 480 million US dollars for compensation .

The mastermind behind this was naturally Xia Zhilan.

Those who predicted this early on and bought as much shares as they could, reaped their profits.

Xia Zhilan had decided to honour the original's mother and her relationship with Ye Jiangyu's and decided to give mercy to him.

In these 3 years, Ye Coperations was eventually knocked down to 97th place in the country's rankings and the Xiao Group dominated the 1st position. Ye Jiangyu was thoroughly scolded by his father and their company's board of directors made an unanimous decision to vote Jiangyu out of the position of CEO. Therefore his father, Ye Guiren, was forced to step up after retiring only a few years ago.

Although Ye Guiren was a pretty talented businessman, he only managed to move Ye Cooperations to 89th place. After all he was not as talented as the legendary Ye Jinhai who created the company out of nothing.

Xia Zhilan was extremely comfortable with this life. In only 4 years, she managed to ruin Ye Cooperations and take over the No.1 spot. The current Xiao Group was pretty much untouchable even in the eyes of the second and third largest companies in the country.

At the time there were many eye witnesses who saw Ye Jiangyu f.o.r.c.i.b.l.y attempt to drag her away and claimed he was extremely controlling towards her. Most people assume this was the reason why the ex-CEO spared his company no mercy."
