"The sunlight that was shining through the windows was beautiful. There was no way that anyone could sleep anymore, not after last night.

Kalaini was sitting on the edge of Lucas's bed and staring at Lucas's sweaty body, she asked "are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine, but I really need to shower," Lucas said and stood up.

"I'll help you," Kalaini smiled.

"N-no!" He immediately shouted as his face turned red.

"Oh, come on, we all know you can't take a shower alone," Kalaini giggled, "there's nothing wrong with taking the help."

"Really?" Lucas raised an eyebrow, inhaling more air, as his fast heartbeat was driving him crazy after the dream of Lya he just had, he didn't want to take any risks.

"It-it's okay," he stuttered, "I'll come as soon as I'm done," replied Lucas.

He quickly walked to the bathroom and turned on the water. He stepped into the shower and let the hot water run down his back, washing away the sweat and dirt of the past day.

After a few minutes, Lucas got out of the shower and wrapped himself in a towel, 'it's a bit weird that they use the same showers as in my world,' he thought.

'What am I doing?' He wondered, 'Shouldn't I be worried about Kali?' Lucas shook his head, he wasn't going to think about anything else than her right now, he could worry about the rest later.

"So, how do you like your new  room?" Kalaini asked as she was waiting outside the door, her hands crossed in front of her chest.

"It's nice, but I don't understand why everything is so huge here," Lucas replied.

"Everything that has to do with magic is much bigger, stronger and better, you know that," Kalaini smirked, "but maybe that's because everything you are looking at has been created by a god or something like that."

"Magic? Gods?" Lucas's eyes widened, "so, uhm, what kind of magic does this place have?"

"There are many types, most people will not be able to use them," Kalaini said while staring at the ground, "I'll explain as much as I can before we go downstairs for breakfast if there's time."

"Sounds good," Lucas nodded.

They walked down the stairs and met Lya outside. She smiled at Lucas who returned her smile avoiding eye contact with her. He felt his hands turning sweaty when he folded his fists.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" Lya asked, "aren't you happy to see me?"

"Yes, I'm happy to see you," Lucas answered, "it's just...ehem, never mind." He turned to Kalaini who had a weird look on her face.

"Shall we just go now?" She changed the subject once again.

"Okay," Lya sighed and followed them to the dining hall.

The moment they entered, everyone started talking at once, "how was your first night?"

"Is Lya still mad at you?" Kalaini whispered to Lucas.

"She was upset at me last night, but she seems to be over it now," Lucas said while trying to find a seat.

"Good, you two made up?"

"Yeah, we did," Lucas answered.

The table was pretty full, so Lucas chose the empty chair next to Kalaini.

"How are you feeling this morning?" Lya asked, "you seem tired from last night."

"I was up all night," Lucas answered, "I dreamt of Kali." He added and killed the atmosphere.

An awkward silence filled the hall, everyone looked at him with blank expressions on their faces.

"We'll talk about it later," Kalaini said, "maybe we should eat first."

Lya shrugged, "okay then."

Everyone started eating their food in silence, Lucas stared at his plate and noticed that Kalaini was staring directly into his eyes. He turned away and looked at the other people around him.

After a few minutes, Lya cleared her throat, "Lucas, you finished already?"

"Yes," he replied without looking at her.

Haya looked at Lucas and then turned to Notru who was sitting next to him for some reason.

Notru looked confused, "what? No, I'm not done yet."

"Ok, well, I'll be right back." Lya quickly left the table and disappeared somewhere.

"What did you say to her?" Notru asked Lucas, "she seemed angry."

"Nothing," Lucas shrugged, "she just needs time to get used to the fact that I'm here, I guess."

"You mean to tell me you're not thinking about what happened last night?"

"Well, no, actually I am," Lucas admitted. He didn't know what to feel about his dreams, they were different from anything he'd ever experienced before. But how do they know about it?

"Don't worry, you'll be fine," Notru reassured.

"Thanks," Lucas nodded, "anyway, I had a dream of Kali telling me that she was somewhere in the cell, is that possible?" He asked as he faced Haya's crystal blue eyes.

"Of course," Haya answered and took a sip of his orange juice.

Lucas looked at Kalaini who was also looking at him, "was there anyone in the cell?" She asked.

"No," Lucas shook his head, "there were only me and Kali. She told me to..." He paused trying to remember what she said, as seductive Lya's eyes in front were blocking his memory of Kali.

"To what?" Haya interrupted.

"I don't remember," replied Lucas as he was flustered.

The silence grew heavier until Kalaini broke it.

"Well, let's get going then!" She stood up, "we have to summon the system," she added.

Everyone agreed to her statement as per last minute Xina walked in. Her wide hips swayed from one leg to another and her long straight green-like emerald hair covered her boobs.

"Hello, Lucas, Kalaini, Notru" she said with her usual fake smile, "what did I miss?"

Everyone looked at each other and then at Xina.

Kalaini gave Lucas a weak grin, "nothing," she answered.

Xina narrowed her eyes, "really?" She smirked.

"Yes," Lucas answered with a big smile.

"Oh, well, I came to check on you guys," she said as she sat down, "I wanted to talk to you after dinner."

"About what?" Lucas asked.

"I want you to come to my room tonight," Xina said.

"Why?" Lucas froze, "why can't we do it here?" He leaned forward as he tried to move his shoulders a little.

"Because," Xina said with a smirk, "if you need to practice something, why would you do it in front of everybody? And besides, this is an open area, if you decide to mess around, or worse, fall asleep and I end up getting carried to bed by a couple of beautiful girls, I'll be laughed out of here."

"Fine," Lucas sighed not even understanding what exactly she meant by that.

Xina smiled at Lucas, "good," she said, "because I'm hungry." She looked at Kalaini, "and you too," she added.

Notru pulled his body to the edge of the chair and jumped down onto the floor.

"I will let you talk, I must go," he spoke loudly as he pushed his hands against the air and disappeared.

"Notru!" Kalaini yelled.

"Sorry," Notru's voice echoed through the hall.

Xina got up and grabbed a piece of bread from the basket on the table, "so, do you have any questions?"

"Yes, we should summon the system for the answers," Lucas placed the fork he was holding back onto the table.

"Alright," Xina smiled.

She walked over to the centre of the room and held her hand above the crystal ball.

"System summoning," she said. The crystal ball glowed and slowly rose until it was hovering in midair.
