After Lucas's last statement he glanced at everyone, for a weird reason Lya was avoiding an eye contact with him.

She was shifting her body weight from one side to another, weirdly crossing her arms around herself.

"Please, in this place, she means the most to me," Lucas added not minding a lot about Lya's strange behaviour.

"Do you only care about her?" Lya finally spoke not allowing Xina to reply to Lucas.

"Yes!" Lucas answered.

Lya was silent for a moment, "fine!" She sighed and looked away. "She is in the barn, I heard her calling out your name."

"Thank you," Lucas said and turned to look at the barn.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Lya asked.

"Like what?" Lucas asked.

"You're staring at me like you want to kill me."

Lucas lifted his head and placing his hand on his neck, he started stretching it, "Lya, I don't know what do you expect me to say in this situation," he looked her straight into the eyes, "but don't you care about Kalaini either?" He lowered his head.

Xina and Haya were not saying anything nor trying to interrupt their conversation, both of them were taken back with a sudden Lya's statement.

"Yes, of course I do," Lya responded.

"Really?" Lucas asked, "then why did you say that I didn't care about Kalaini."

"It's true that I don't know you, but yes," she said looking away.

"I'll get her back," Lucas said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small vial. He uncorked the bottle and poured some of its contents onto the ground. It was a white powder that glowed faintly blue when light struck it.

The powder immediately began to spread across the floor, forming a web of energy that pulsated softly and steadily against the grainy dirt floor.

Lucas felt himself beginning to float upwards slowly, just like the other times. He did not resist this time, knowing that Kali would be safe even if something happened to him.

Lucas floated upward until he was about four feet off the ground.

Haya's face frowned, "Lucas, when did you learn how to do this?"

Without saying much, he just nodded, "I keep receiving Izek's memories from time to time, especially during the sleeping time," Lucas replied.

"Izek's memories...?" Asked Xina as she her face turned completely pale, "how? When?" She asked him.

"I'm not sure, but it all started at that night when we met Notru," he kindly replied and then added, "after that, every time I close my eyes, I get a memory of his. Every time he takes my body over, I can discover and learn his power."

"Unbelievable..." Lya covered her mouth as she took some steps back.

Haya replied, "well... I guess we all learned how to control our levitation abilities at the same time. When I first came here, my levitation ability didn't work at all! But then later on, after a long period of training with the others, my powers started working again!"

"I have been practicing my levitation skills since I arrived in the Enchanted Forest. My teammates told me that it's part of my role as their leader to know how to use these powers properly."

A silence fell over the place. Lucas, who was floating in the air didn't even understand the words he just said now. He made everyone speechless with his statement, 'what did I just say?' The words came out of his mouth against his own will.

"Xina, what did I say?" He asked his teammate.

Being taken back, but with composure, she replied, "you began to talk more like Izek right now," she answered him.

He looked at her and saw that she had a calm look on her face while being the same as usual; which was unusual for her. She normally would be worried or anxious, especially when it comes to herself.

"So you know how Izek talks?" He questioned her again.

She nodded in response. "I have heard him speak before."

That surprised him, but he shouldn't have been surprised since they were teammates. They knew each other's voices well enough to tell if one was speaking or not.

That could give them an advantage during battle, if they understood how their enemies were going to act based on whether or not someone is talking.

"No, no... I shouldn't be thinking of this," Lucas whispered as he shook his head, "Kali, let's go!"

Everyone nodded and decided to start moving.

While observing the situation of the villagers, they came up with a plan. Lucas and Xina will barge in to the barn and cause the chaos, meanwhile Haya and Lya will be watching from behind.

If anyone will come unexpectedly, they will immediately eliminate them from existence.

"What about me?" Notru spoke while the four of them were discussing things between them, "you will have to hide until we find you." Haya replied.

"Yes, we cannot afford to lose you too right now," Lucas agreed to Haya's words.

But what he actually meant by 'to lose you too' no one was able to catch it.

Xina was standing on the other side of the door, while Lucas was standing behind her. There was a wooden plank in front of the door, blocking it from opening further. It seemed like Lucas couldn't open the doors any further.

The horses inside the stable were still snorting loudly, disturbed by their entrance entrance.

"What's going on here?" asked Xina. She noticed the bloodied knife on the ground.

Xina picked it up and held it up as if measuring its weight. Then she turned around to face Lucas.

Her eyes were wide open now.

Lucas heard a loud click come from Xina's fingers. Suddenly, the knife was gone!

A short sharp pain shot through his neck. His head felt dizzy for a second. His vision blurred and then cleared again.

"It's just too much!"

The world went dark...

"...wait..."

He slowly opened his eyes.

Xina was standing over him, holding the bloody knife. Her face was twisted in anger. She lunged at Lucas, swinging the knife wildly towards his head.
