Everything in Lucas' body told him to run as fast as he could to see what was going on.

The very thought that Kali might be hurt charged him with electricity, made his pulse beat faster and made him forget that he was out of breath.

'There's no way that was Kali!' Lucas fought his inner thoughts and tried to block out the reality, 'that couldn't be Kali!' He forced his legs to move faster.

He pulled and pushed away the branches that stood in his way and the Peri spirit ran in front of him, helping him to reach the spot faster.

"Ouch" Something like a needle hit his face and made his skin bleed, but he didn't even stop to wipe it off, something was happening and it could be Kali.

He only stopped when he saw a small sky blue river flowing in front of him, "why didn't I notice the flowing water earlier? He breathed in more air, put his foot back and was ready to jump when the peri spirit made a strange noise, again *pur* *pur*

He shook his head as if to tell Lucas to stop moving.

"What do you want? I don't have time for this!" Lucas put a foot forward and drew his brows together.

Now wasn't the time to argue with a creature, there was Kali he'd to save first.

He didn't know if it was even Kali, but the urge and the heavy feeling in his chest told him otherwise.

The sky was tar-black and the big clouds were moving towards Lucas. He heard a soft tapping on the ground, and then it became a pitter-patter.

Puddles began to splash as the rain got heavier, "I really don't need this.' Lucas bit his lip as anger rose in his body.

His clothes got wet and made him shiver with cold.

Lucas grabbed his shoulders with his arms, trying to shield his icy skin from the cold, "What now?" He took a deep breath and bit his lips.

He was walking in small circles when Peri made another noise, *peri* *peri*

"What?" Lucas looked at him and saw that he was completely dry, "why aren't you wet?" He asked him.

Lucas' eyes widened and wrinkles appeared on his forehead when he saw that Peri had an invisible shield on him.

From a distance it was impossible to see, but when you got closer you could see that its body was surrounded by a small white sparkling dust,

"How did you do that?" Lucas moved a little closer to Peri to make sure he wasn't imagining things.

Lucas' eyes sparkled through the glint of the strange shield, "Peri, how did you do that?" He asked him again, leaning back as he realised he was talking to the creature that couldn't even speak in his language, "Great, now I'm going crazy too.." He heaved a long sigh.

*Booom!*

Another explosive blast was heard where he thought Kali was, "Peri, we've to keep moving!" He looked down at him to give him an order.

*Pur* *Pur*

The Peri spirit nodded its head and turned back to the river bank, *pur* *pur*

Peri pointed with its head to the side, where a small bridge was built from a fallen tree.

The branches and bushes were no longer visible, and the leaves had long soaked into the river, "Peri, you're a genius! Lucas jumped into the air while clenching his fists.

"Let's go!"

Lucas didn't want to run, but he walked faster as the heavy rain was already making his feet slide on the ground, in some places he felt like a cat on ice, 'that's how Kali felt when she was on this bridge.' A quick memory came to his mind.

He was standing next to the fallen tree, which also looked quite dangerous. The rain didn't look like it was going to stop and the river was flooding harder and more violently than before, "this is going to be fun, I wish I'd my rain boots now." A small smile appeared on Lucas' face and brought back memories of his old life.

He liked the rain, because that was his sister's favourite time of year.

Mina sat by the window and watched people run and cover their hair when the raindrops fell on their heads and clothes, making them soaking wet and the street slippery so that some of them fell down, which amused Mina very much.

She couldn't leave her house, watching people from outside was the only thing she enjoyed. So Lucas put on his boots, went outside and pretended to fall in puddles just to make his sister laugh, "I miss you," a sudden wet drop of water ran through his skin.

Lucas didn't bother to understand if it was a tear falling from his already wet eyes or the rain, which now made everything even more dramatic,

*boom!

Another huge noise was heard in Lucas' ears, 'Kali!' Lucas clung to the boot of the tree, 'I've to hurry.' He pulled his body closer to the tree boot.

It was long and looked dangerous, if he blundered into the river he could end up God knows where, 'concentrate, you've to hurry' He mustered all his strength and pulled himself together quickly.

He propped himself up on the tree stump, his hands flailing in front of him as he tried to keep his balance, 'small, slow' he whispered to himself.

*boom!

Another sound went through the whole forest.

Lucas swallowed and tried to concentrate on his feet and do his best not to fall into the raging river.

*pure* *pur*

The Peri was already on the other side of the river, 'that thing is fast', Lucas shook his head slightly, not wondering how it had got there.

Finally he reached the end of the river, 'let's go!' Without wasting a second, he jumped off and ran towards the place.

The view became clearer and was no longer obscured by trees and leaves of the forest, 'come on', he quickened his steps and swung his hands forward against the air pressure, hoping that he'd arrive faster that way.

At last he was out of the forest and out of breath.

In front of him was the large, huge dark blue grassy field. The sky was easier to see here and the air seemed less heavy. His eyes widened when he saw the same man who'd knocked him down in his first fight when he got here.

His heartbeat increased and a vein on his head popped out. His anger shot up and when he saw that this person was fighting a dragon, he overcame with rage,

'Kali!'
