Pokemon: Ultimate Generations

Chapter 31 - Pewter City Museum!

Gan was now on his way to the museum to scope the place out, he knew they wouldn't just hand over the [Old Amber] to him. The game was different; the museum collected fossils, so why would they just give them away?

On his way there, he checked his mission rewards that still showed the notification alert. He had to accept the rewards for this to disappear.

"Uh..." Gan stopped in place, it gave him another mission. The strange thing was that it jumped from 35 to 100!

The rewards weren't bad, but he pointed his attention towards his current rewards. He checked out his Pokedex and found that it had a different color from a regular Pokemon Dex. Instead of being red, it was all black with the buŧŧons inside being all white, it also had white outlining it.

"This thing is more amazing than I initially thought!" Gan was satisfied, he could truly count as a genuine trainer now. As for the Silph Scope, he didn't even bother to take that out, he kept that inside of his storage to inspect later.

Gan placed the Pokedex inside of his storage, so it wouldn't break or suffer from some unfortunate mistake. He contiuned his way back towards the Museum to check the place out.

There weren't many people who visited the Museum from what Gan could see on the outside. The Museum was huge, it looked like a memorial building with several pillars appearing to be holding it up on the outside.

There were 10 stairs he had to climb to reach the door. Before walking into the Museum, he got a good look at the outside of it. Walking in, he was greeted with a beautiful scene, it smelled fresh and had nice clean marble white floors that made it better.

"Ahem, if you want to visit the Museum, then that's going to cost you ₱100." The man adjusted his glasses and said seriously. He wore a blue and white lined patterned shirt with pure white pants, he looked and sounded like the serious type.

"No problem." Gan paid and contiuned through the Museum.

Gan saw many models of Ancient Pokemon, even Pokemon from different Generations were on display. He stopped at a life-sized Tyrantrum; this model displayed the legit size of each Pokemon.

"I'll definitely have to get one of these once I make it to that region." Having a T-Rex on his Pokemon Team was pretty amazing in Gan's book. There were no fossils here for these Pokemon; these Fossils were located overseas.

Gan contiuned to walk through the Museum, there was bȧrėly anyone here. He eventually came across a life-size Aerodactyl, It was hanging from the ceiling; being held up by 3 strong chains. Two connected to its wings, while the last chain connected to its back to keep it hanging up.

Gan looked at the [Old Amber] but he didn't give it much attention, after all, he was actually planning a small OP to rob this! Continuing on, he checked out the whole Museum and saw every type of fossil known so far.

After checking out the Museum, he walked towards the entrance to take a seat. He didn't leave but sat down to relax. Gan had recently just eaten, so it would be wise to not move so much.

He put his head down and began to plan, he could rob this place today but that would draw too much suspicion.

Gan had to wait at least 2 to 3 days before robbing the place, it couldn't be done today. This place had cameras, so they would start to put the puzzle together with camera footage; this was why he didn't give too much attention to the [Old Amber].

"*Gasp!* It's you, you little jerk!" Just as Gan was thinking, he heard a familiar voice. Looking up, he spotted the girls he robbed at Mt. Moon.

"Oh, it's you guys again, since when would people like you care about history?" Gan knitted his eyebrows and said mockingly.

"I'd like to let you know that my mom was a researcher, so you don't know anything!" The Tomboy pointed at Gan and said.

"Hey, hey, no yelling in the Museum, you can't take your dispute elsewhere!" The glasses man in the white and blue striped shirt spoke with authority.

"Ah, sorry, sorry." She hurriedly and apologized.

"Yeah, she's sorry, she was excited when she saw me because they're both from my fan club. So please, excuse the behavior of young growing girls." Said Gan seriously.

"Oh, I see, they're young, so when they see a celebrity they would naturally freak out." Seeing Gan's serious expression, the man calmed down and nodded as to understand.

The 2 girls almost choked with anger, but they couldn't cause a scene here.

"So ċȯċky because he won one Gym Badge, you got fortunate last time but I bet you can't win another Badge." The Blonde pointed at Gan and said with provocation.

"Cocky? It just goes to show that fortune favors me. Do you guys have a trainer's license?" Gan scoffed at the two.

"Yes, we do. what of it?" They both said in unison.

"Okay, so do you have any badges at all?" Gan tossed another question their way.

"...."

"....."

"As I thought, fortune doesn't favor fools, haha!" Gan stood up and looked at the 2 with disdain. His mocking smile made them so mad that the Tomboy wanted to just walk up to him and punch him.

The Tomboy clenched her fist and said. "I'll go beat the Gym Leader, and once I've collected all of the badges, I'll defeat you!"

"Where did this all come from, you 2 are crazy." Gan couldn't believe his ears, was this girl insane? He couldn't have the time to deal with these 2, he walked right past them towards the exit.

"Hold it right there, are you chickening out?" The Tomboy wouldn't let it go.

"No, I just don't take people who call others fortunate when they haven't even tried to begin with. I beat that Gym Leader with one strike from Mankey, but before Onix could faint he surrendered."

Gan believed he got fortunate with the critical hit, but Onix's base stats were very pitiful. He couldn't for the love of him understand why it was such a s**t Pokemon, it was a large rock snake for goodness sake.

"We'll have a decisive battle once we've collected all of the Gym Badges, what do you think? Are you still trying to run away?

"I sure am! See ya!" Gan turned and ran out of the building!

"This guy!!" The Blonde couldn't believe or take it anymore and yell with a red face, she couldn't believe people like this existed.

"He ran! That no shame having bastard!" The tomboy was shocked, she thought he would agree to her battle.

"Hey, hey, no yelling in the Museum!" The man looked up and said coldly.

"..." They both didn't say anything to him and went to explore the Museum.

"Don't worry about guys like that, Lydia. If he does get all of his Badges, he shouldn't be hard to find since there are bȧrėly any trainers taking on the Gyms. At that time, you can challenge him and defeat him in front of everyone."

"You're right, we'll need to head to Mt. Moon again to try and catch Clefairy." Lydia cheered up hearing her friend's comment.

"Okay, but let's check out the Ancient Pokemon around this place." Mira said with a smile.

.....

Meanwhile.

Gan had returned back to Pewter City's streets, he surely didn't want to deal with those 2. Since he was waiting for Warren, he returned back to Team Rocket's Base to train his Pokemon. Heading towards the Team Rocket Training area, he saw many Team Rocket Grunts; both Male and Females Training their Pokemon.

Gan found an empty space and summoned his Nidorina and Nodorino.

"Okay, you guys will work on your body and perseverance; mainly body strengthening." As Gan was speaking, he grabbed a couple of weight vests and put them around both Nidorina and Nidorino's bodies.

There was no weight to them, so he had to add the amount of weight he wanted them to train in.

"Let's start with 100 Pounds, this shouldn't be a problem for you 2." Gan brought the weights over and put them into the weight vest.

"N-nido!" Both of them were a bit surprised but they hung on.

"Now, we'll be practicing lunges. You'll lunge at the target here, it'll also be moving. Don't worry, I'll also be lifting weights to train myself." Gan didn't get a membership at a Gym, so this was the best time to work out himself.

"Oh, you're back, I didn't expect to see you so soon." Just as he and his Pokemon were training, he heard yet another familiar voice.

Gan took one looked and recognized it as Arlo.
