Pat Me Please

Chapter 97

After a day of hard work, the diligent little bees began to buzz restlessly.

The bars in Huizhou were even livelier than those in Jiang City, especially around Jiu Ru Bridge. In particular, there were many gay and lesbian bars. Although Huizhou was not known as a gay city, there were more gathering places for sexual minorities than in some famous gay cities.

The four of them went to a lesbian bar called Destination. It seemed that many lesbian and gay bars had this name “destination”, as if to say, “We have walked a path not understood by others in this vast sea of people, but like everyone else, we also look forward to the end.”

Xiang Wan, who self proclaimed as a T, was wearing a butterfly-sleeved dress with tassels. Peng Xiangzhi wore a wine-red sequined suspender dress, while Su Chang was dressed not typical for someone going to a bar. She wore a long-sleeved pullover sweater, loose high-waisted shorts, and a pair of Martin boots.

Yu Zhou finally gave up her ordinary T-shirt and wore a milk-white strapless slim dress that only reached her thighs. She also put on a loose outer garment similar to Su Chang’s sweater and Martin boots in both color and material.

Her long, slightly curled hair brushed her face in the evening breeze. The sunny Yu Zhou dimmed a little, but made Su Chang’s eyes a little hot.

Destination was a quiet, low-key bar without a dance floor, where friends could sit at the bar or in a booth, in the flickering candlelight and cocktail atmosphere, listening to the resident singer’s low, soft melodies.

Taking a sip of alcohol occasionally, but not drinking too much – being tipsy was just the perfect state.

By coincidence, they saw a young woman in the bar who got their sign during the day, sitting a few tables away, glancing their way. Su Chang met her eyes and responded gracefully with a smile. The girl probably thought she was being a bit rude, so she turned her head away, focusing on enjoying her date with her friends and leaving their private life to the few girls she really liked.

After listening to seven or eight songs, Yu Zhou felt a bit bored and began to play with her phone.

At this point, the bar’s traditional scene finally played out. A woman with a wolf’s tail hairstyle came over, offered a drink before she apologized, saying she had lost a game over there and wanted to ask for a girl’s WeChat.

Without even lifting her head, Yu Zhou laughed gleefully, thinking about which of her friends the girl would pick.

But the selection fell upon Yu Zhou herself.

Wolf tail girl pushed the glass of Long Island Iced Tea to Yu Zhou, with tiny and icy droplets seeping out from the outer surface of the glass. She said, “Hello, may I have your WeChat?”

“Ah?” Yu Zhou looked up blankly.

She glanced at Su Chang subconsciously. Su Chang took out a tissue to wipe off the water stains left on the table when the Long Island Iced Tea was pushed away.

Peng Xiangzhi supported her forehead and watched the interesting scene enthusiastically. Xiang Wan pursed her lips and chuckled as well.

Yu Zhou thought to herself, is the girl blind to the three beautiful women? But at the same time, she felt a little proud, maybe it means she’s not bad herself, heh heh.

“Well…” She didn’t have much experience with being approached, because she preferred staying home. So she asked hesitantly, “Do you want to scan me or should I scan you?”

Su Chang tidied up the tissue used to wipe the water stains and put it aside.

“You scan me, thank you. It’s urgent.” Wolf tail girl smiled gracefully and leaned forward to hand over her QR code.

“It’s no problem.” Yu Zhou held her phone in both hands, feeling a bit eager and embarrassed, and barely managed to scan under the dim light.

“OK, added.”

Wolf tail girl glanced at the screen, “Zhouzhou, right?”

“Yeah, yeah, the one with the cat’s face.”

Peng Xiangzhi took a quick glance at Su Chang, covering the corner of her mouth with her hand, and laughed like a fox after stealing a chicken. Not only did the girl add Yu Zhou on WeChat, but also called her “Zhouzhou.” Well, her WeChat name was indeed that.

“Let’s hang out some other time, and I’ll buy you a drink,” The girl said.

“Uh, no need, I’m not a Huizhou local. We’re here on a trip, and we’re leaving tomorrow.”

“Ah?” Wolf tail was a bit surprised, “Really?”

“Yeah, I came with my wife who has work here,” Yu Zhou said, reaching out for Su Chang’s hand.

Wow, impressive. Peng Xiangzhi looked at her with new eyes. Checkmate, it was a nice move.

A frown appeared on the girl’s forehead as she glanced at Su Chang and turned her head slightly, feeling a bit embarrassed: “I’m sorry.”

Su Chang responded lightly, “It’s okay.”

Yu Zhou nestled against Su Chang like a little bird, holding her arm. With a gentle wave and a sweet smile, she bid the girl a polite farewell.

Su Chang looked down at her with the corner of her mouth slightly pressed downward.

“Just laugh if you want to,” Yu Zhou pretended to turn her head and whispered in Su Chang’s ear. She then pulled back and continued sipping her favorite Mojito through the black straw.

So naughty, she thought Su Chang’s evaluation of her was a bit accurate, haha.

She hadn’t even finished her mojito when a loud noise suddenly came from the other end. There was the sound of shattered glass, followed by a commotion mixed with screams, and then a girl’s heart-wrenching cry.

A few bits of broken glass flew toward their feet, causing Peng Xiangzhi to jump up. “Damn!”

It nearly scratched her leg.

She quickly pulled Xiang Wan away, and Su Chang and Yu Zhou followed suit, stepping back.

Yu Zhou peered for a while, “Damn, they’re fighting.”

The others around them also stood aside and watched, some bolder ones approached the scene and soon stepped back to share the situation with the company. Yu Zhou tucked her hands into the sleeves of her jacket and strode over to socialize with them.

“What’s going on?” She asked familiarly, sounding like an old lady gossiping on the street corner.

The tall girl who was observing the scene explained, “A girl got dumped and went crazy, smashing the table.”

“Oh my god, is she hurt?”

“I’m not sure; she’s been crying loudly over there.”

“Oh no, where are her friends?”

“They’re comforting her, they should be her friends. They’re wrapping her with a jacket and holding her.”

“Do you think that is her friend or the ex-girlfriend?”

“The ex-girlfriend isn’t here. She’s been ignoring the girl for a while now. The ex-girlfriend used to come here often, so the girl has been waiting here for half a month, seeing no one and going crazy today.”

“So she just went crazy so suddenly like that?”

“Yeah, lesbians, full of drama.”

“What about the broken table? It’ll cost her a fortune, won’t it?”

“Of course she’ll have to pay.”

“How miserable… not only dumped but also having to pay.”

“Deservedly so.”

Yu Zhou wanted to continue chatting, but her friends couldn’t take it anymore, so they pulled her out of the bar after paying the bill.

“How terrible, truly terrible. I squeezed in and saw her, crying sadly.”

They arrived at the hotel and closed the door. Yu Zhou was still thinking about the incident. She hadn’t encountered many dramatic events in her life, so this would likely make a great talking point.

Su Chang put on the hotel slippers, which made her a few centimeters shorter and caused her aura to be a little more restrained. Standing beside the bedside table, she took off the bracelet on her wrist.

“Is it really that miserable?” She asked.

“What? Isn’t it?” Yu Zhou sat down on the bed.

“It’s just a breakup.” Su Chang placed the bracelet on the bedside table.

Hiss …

That hit too close to home. Yu Zhou suddenly realized that she had been putting her foot in her mouth. She worried that Su Chang might feel upset, so she stood up, went behind her, and gently called out her name, “Su Chang…”

Su Chang turned around and kissed her without saying a word.

It was a more intense kiss than usual, one that had been suppressed countless times before. Su Chang vaguely remembered instances like when Yu Zhou walked out of the bathroom wearing a new dress, when Yu Zhou sipped on a mojito in the bar with a black straw, when Yu Zhou carefully scanned others’ QR codes, and when Yu Zhou leaned on her shoulder whispering into her ear.

The last time was when Yu Zhou said, “Being dumped is so miserable.”

Su Chang released her grip on Yu Zhou, her breath still unsteady. She spoke calmly, “It’s just that I didn’t go crazy.”

That night, Su Chang made love with her three times.

And it wasn’t the usual tenderness; it even hurt a little when Yu Zhou turned over.

Su Chang still wasn’t satisfied, but Yu Zhou was exhausted. She habitually lay down on the edge of the bed as Su Chang kissed her back while holding her hand.

Yu Zhou weakly said, “Can you just do it yourself? I really don’t have the energy.”

Su Chang lay down beside her, the bewitching scenery in her eyes not yet dispersed. She whispered softly, “Then come here, let me hold you.”

In truth, she didn’t have much desire for her own body. It was only when she held the warm and soft Yu Zhou that she felt something, it had always been this way.

As her hand explored downwards, she met the tips of Yu Zhou’s fingers.

Yu Zhou pressed her lips against the side of Su Chang’s neck and murmured, “Let me do it, after all.”

Seeing Su Chang in this state, Yu Zhou couldn’t resist.

It was better if she did it.
