Parallel - A Virtual Reality.

Kagito looks at the pillar of Death piercing the sky and a deep sense of crisis surges inside of him.

His acute sense of the Space makes him tremble as he looks blankly at a specific position.

He feels that something very very bad is going to happen.

The space starts to crack and very soon breaks apart as a huge Fissure appears.

'What the hell…'

Shock overwhelms everyone as they look at the Giant Demon coming out of the fissure while laughing loudly.

"FREEDOM!!"

The sheer powerful of that War cry makes the earth tremble. An aura similar to Dorek's but this time filled with violence and madness surrounds the entire battlefield as the Demon sweeps his gaze.

Then his gaze stops at Zenith, as he notices the giant pillar of Death slowly retracting.

His eyes widen as a surprise shows on his face, then he laughs again.

"BAHAHAHA, THE IRONY! SO, IT IS BECAUSE OF THE DEATH LORD THAT I AM FINALLY FREE!?"

Then, he looks at Dorek and a playful smile appears, "Oh, a big Lizard is here too…"

Dorek looks at the Demon warily as he points is halberd at the demon.

"Well, doesn't matter who is here, I will crush everyone to pieces"

A bloody smile appears on the Demon's face as he takes out a giant Warhammer that was strapped on his back. No one dares to move against that Demon in fear of being the first to be taken out.

"For I, Dontoshi, AM BACK!"

Then he looks at Zenith and steps forward, but before him appears a silhouette. The only human in that place filled with monsters.

'Fuck!'

Kagito grips his sword hard as he clenches his teeth preparing to teleport at any given time.

"Geez, if I end up dying in this battlefield you will owe me a drink" Says Tyrfing besides him as she looks at the field with a serious expression.

"Go help Ardha, I will take care of this place"

She readies her sword as her entire body emanates a warring spirit.

"SOLDIERS WAKE UP, THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO FOOL AROUND! FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT UNTIL YOUR FALL!"

Her roar wakes up the army as they feel energized, and the morale goes up. Without noticing, they step forward with their weapons with an indomitable spirit.

Kagito looks at Tyrfing and nods seriously, "I'll go pick some people up"

As he says that he feels gazes trying to burn holes on him.

Desire of battling fills the eyes of those people, as he tries to go to them as fast as he can.

'Please, resist until we can arrive!'

Kagito shouts internally as he feels another feral aura coming from the now vanished pillar of Death.

The saying of 'When it rains it pour' couldn't be truer right now.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!"

A guttural scream comes out as a shockwave shakes the battlefield.

'Aaaaah it hurts' I think as i drowsily look around me. The space is filled with fog and I can't see anything else.

I couldn't hear anything else too, only my thoughts as I feel my entire body hurting.

'Why does it hurt so much?'

I ask myself that as I grit my teeth.

Then noise starts filling the space, coming from everywhere, feeling how it starts crawling inside my head.

'Ah, so noisy, it hurts'

The constant noise makes me grab my head as I feel it hurting even more now along with my body. So annoying, why does it hurt so much.

'SHIT IT HURTS! SHUT UP!!!!'

I try to open my mouth to scream for the noise and pain to stop, but nothing comes out.

Fury and desperations surge inside of me. My thoughts run chaotically as I can't do anything to stop this pain and noise to go away.

An overwhelming storm of anger start arising inside of me as the fog starts turning darker and darker as it soon starts moving erratically like a storm.

Why don't you kill the noise and pain?

A sudden thought appears in my head and I stop squirming.

'Yes, why didn't I think of that before? I am the Death Lord after all'

The storm of darkness with a tinge of purple becomes each time more powerful swirling around me.

'I just have to bring death'

Barely discernible figures appear in front of me as I clench my fists.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!"

This time I could scream my fury and hatred away, as a sole thought invades my head.

'I AM GOING TO BRING DEATH TO ALL OF YOU!'

I step forward against Dontoshi, making him stop in his track towards Zenith. He looks at me amused.

"Little insect, get out of my way, I will squash you soon enough"

As he says that, a sudden window appears.

- Hidden Quest!

A Fissure has appeared on the field. The risk of this is enormous as the demon is still around, the stabilizing factors won't be able to work properly. Defeat the Demonic Giant from the Chaos Realm, Dontoshi.

Quest Level: B

A sudden quest appears, but the letter designed to it gives me enormous pressure.

'B class quest just to defeat him'

I breath out hard as I face the monster in the same class as Dorek in front of me.

He gazes at me and sniggers as he lifts his Warhammer instantly.

His terrifying speed surprises me but I answer accordingly.

His Warhammer shots downward with tremendous speed and power, but I evade quickly.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

The power behind the attack breaks the earth apart as a big hole appears. Shockwaves push me away slightly as the Demon grins at me.

Suddenly, he moves his Warhammer and attacks me horizontally.

'Annulment!'

Using annulment on his attack, I parry it head on but I am pushed away again.

Then a sense of crisis sweeps at me as I hurriedly move my swords to defend against an attack from Dorek.

My armor cracks a bit on my side, and I hit the ground harshly.

'You can't stay still, can you?'

I look at Dorek while gritting my teeth.

But Dontoshi instead of following up to attack me, he looks at Dorek with disaffection.

"Little Lizard stay put"

Dorek looks at Dontoshi, "Don't you dare order me, dirty Demon"

Dontoshi grins fiendishly as he does the same attack as before, swinging his Warhammer down in between the two of us.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Spikes come out of the ground directed to attack us. Dorek and I evade the attack with debris hitting us, Dontoshi appears before Dorek and swings his hammer again, but Dorek blocks him using his skills.

I use that time to try to heal up, but then, a fierce Ice attack comes my way, and then Dontoshi's hammer appears above me.

Gritting my teeth I drive my Three-Elemental Enhancing to its utmost limit.

I deflect the attack of Dontoshi and let the Ice attack fall on me as I drive my Fast Recovery and defensive skills to block it.

Rolling on the ground again I cough up blood as I feel my body slightly freezing up.

But without resting for a second, I stand up as an Ice Spike appears where I was.

Then Dontoshi and Dorek clash again.

I realize soon that they are close to where Zenith is, the pillar of Death had vanished. He stood up looking blankly at the sky.

I stomp hard as I appear swiftly besides those two monsters and sweeps them with a giant staff of Darkness.

They block it calmly as both take a small step backward.

'At this pace I will have to activate Overflow'

I think that as my breath is slightly ragged. Continuing like I was now wouldn't amount to much.

'But even if I do that I wouldn't be able to defeat them, even if I use Overflow until the times run out'

Those two monsters take a step towards me and Zenith and I grit my teeth, decided to use Overflow.

'There is no use in hesitating, Over-'

Just as I was about to activate my skill, both monsters stop as I feel a feral aura violently spreading out. My expression tensing up as I look backward.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!"

A shockwave follows that guttural shout from Zenith. Because I am at almost point blank range I am sent flying away while Dontoshi and Dorek takes a step backward.

"HAHA!" Dontoshi laughs delightedly as he looks at Zenith.

Dorek looks seriously at Zenith as he takes up a stance.

Zenith looks at the battlefield and us as Death chaotically surges from him.

My hands tremble for a bit as I look at the mad filled expression on Zenith's face as a sudden quest appears before me.

- Sudden Quest! Stop the Death Lord!

Traces of Despair sprouts in the battlefield.
