Parallel - A Virtual Reality.

Golden Knight Jules Miles has been lauded as a genius at fighting since the first time she wielded a sword.

Despite being young, she has been recognized as one of the strongest knights of the Kingdom in the young generation.

Not many knew the reason why she trained so hard despite being a prodigy, even when her family never made it an obligation for her to wield the sword. His parents very much would have loved for her to just stay at home and learn the Royal customs.

But taking no heed of their protest, she decided to wield her sword and plunge herself to the battlefield. And the reason for that was none other than Juran Miles, her big brother.

She never felt herself much of a genius when she saw her brother. At first, she thought he was weak despite being older than her, but when she saw those ferocious eyes of him when he trained all of that was washed away.

Then she noticed, it wasn't that her brother wasn't talented or strong, he simply was so monstrously talented at the Divine Arts that it would be unjust for him to have another kind of talent.

But even then, he never lacked the perseveration to rain harder and be of ȧssistance to the knights of the kingdom.

When she saw him being so young yet sleeping at the barracks, when he looked half-dead after intensive training, when he zealously treated everyone at the battlefield, when he cried after letting a person die, she felt her purpose.

And that was to help her big brother as much as she could to lessen his burden.

Thus she earned the nickname of Battle Maniac inside the Kingdom, becoming the youngest Royal Knight in history.

Her full body Golden Armor gave her the title of Golden Knight, her sword and shield shining brighter than anything else when she fought on the battlefield.

But even then, she still can bȧrėly catch up to her big brother that always got stuck in harder and harder battles.

And this time it is quite a ridiculously big one against Prince Dorek.

CLANK!

She is sent backward as she receives a full-powered attack of Zar who had become even stronger recently.

Her arm that has her shield tingled a bit as she breathes out.

'I can't look away from this monster, if I do so, he will create more disturbance and that will affect my brother'

Every part of her body responded when Zar moved as she swiftly steps to block it.

Arksen also appears timely as he attacks Zar and tries to inflict more damage on Qube. Isa had moved back in between the back and middle battlefield to help the defense of their weakest flank.

Bullets and Arrows flew by, letting her and Arksen take a breather.

'The battle is intensifying by what I can feel'

The powerful vibrations of the battlefield as it has become even more chaotic than before could be felt. Even more, the place where those two and Dorek are fighting.

'Really, they are even more powerful than what my brother told me'

At first, she didn't have much interest in those two, as her sole focus was to become stronger and help her brother as much as possible, but since Juran joined their party, she collected all the information she could about them.

Ridiculous fast growth was the answer she came to when she finished collecting information.

'They are even fighting that monster Dorek in an even match'

The pressure the Alligator Prince is giving is enormous. So much that she didn't have much courage to face him one on one.

'It feels like facing my eldest brother'

The pressure wasn't just about strength, it was their presence. The feeling that of a King.

As she thinks about the figure of her eldest brother, her gaze sharpens as she evades an attack of Qube.

'Time to change tactics'

"Metal Manipulation, Zweihander!"

As she shouts that, her shield and sword shudder as they become liquified in an instant and fuse. Golden double-handed swords appear on her hands as her aura becomes more aggressive.

Zar, who was charging at her, becomes surprised at the change, and attacks with all its power.

"Sword of the Setting Sun!"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

"GAAAAK!"

Zar's painful howl fills the field as the Golden Knight stays in posture. Fury and a tinge of fear appear on Zar's face as his muscles start bulging and a powerful aura surrounds him.

"I am going all out, Qube!"

Qube instantly appear above Zar, who was growling as a powerful aura emits from him, the Earth Element coalescing surrounding him and fusing with his body.

"Time to kick up a gear!" Says Arksen besides Jules as he stomps forward, a powerful Martial aura surrounds him as he sharply looks ahead.

"Tsk, these annoying humans! Zar, hurry up!" Qube clicks his tongue as he is barreled with attacks from Arksen and Jules.

Wounds after wounds start appearing on his body, some were serious, but before they can inflict a fatal blow, Zar appears in front blocking all the attacks. His body is now like a Golem of Earth, eyes shining with sheer fury as a tremendous amount of Earth Element is surrounding him. The whole floor starts vibrating as pillars of stone appear from the floor.

"Finally!" Shouts Qube as he flies upward trying to get away from the two that were attacking him and this time a tremendous amount of Wind Elements start surrounding him. A powerful storm is generated around him as his Aura becomes erratic and visibly becomes stronger.

But when he thought that his transformation would go smoothly, two arrows and a bullet fly towards him silently. His pupil shrinks like a needle as he didn't feel that attack coming and bȧrėly moves his body.

"QUBE!" Shouts Zar as he tries to grab Qube, but Arksen and Jules attack him, delaying him for a brief moment.

And that is all it took, as a shadow appears before Qube.

"It was earlier than I expected, but it should do with you" A grating voice is heard from the shadow, as cold golden eyes appear.

Anger and despair are shown on Qube's face, "You BAST-"

Before he could finish his sentence, a claw appears from the shadow and pierces Qube's heart. The ring on one of the claw's fingers shines a deathly dark green color.

A vortex appears from it as it absorbs the life of Qube, transforming him into a mummy and ultimately into ashes.

"At least you are going to be useful for something greater, Qube"

Then, the claw enters the shadow as it goes back toward it came from. Towards the direction, Vladi is in.

Everyone becomes shocked at the series of events, ending with Qube's death.

"YOU DARE BETRAY KING DOREK?!"

Arksen looks shocked at where Zar was shouting, and as fast as he could he summons a spear and with all his power throws it towards the culprit of everything that has happened.

"CAREFUL!!!!"

But it was too late.

As the Arrow had been shot.

An Arrow filled with so much malevolent Death that makes everyone that looks at it shudder.

For Jules Miles, the Golden Knight, time seems to freeze.

All that because the target of such an arrow was none other than her big brother, the one whose sole focus is to save as many people as he can.
