Chapter 23 - 7. Dungeon of Wishes. (Part 2)

Pablo is one of the generals in Da Dragons Guild, thus, he is in charge of a platoon of players

He was confident of his Guild and Leader, as they made many alliances and contracted many mercenaries of NPCs that are stronger than many players.

He also knew that Kaiser Guild had many members and they are truly strong in terms of numbers, but they are lacking in strong members, as their Guild consisted mostly of players and low leveled ones at that.

Even more, the battle would be transmitted on TV! So, the gains from this would be huge!

And thus, the War between the Guilds is about to start as Draco, the Guild Master, signals and orders

"Charge!"

Pablo was excited about it, his platoon consisted of Archers and Mages, thus he would get many kills and his leadership will advance with boosted status in a more or less safety zone.

As the soldiers from both Guilds clashed, a fiery battle began, thousands of players fighting and living the First War in Parallel World, but a message appears in front of Pablo as the blades from soldiers are being swung

-Your commander has died

-The morale of the army has gone down

At this, he, surprised, looks back at his commander and gets shocked at the scene.

'What is that man doing here!?'

The man he sees that is going wild while killing many of the commanders and generals as the morale of the army was dropping down is Kagito, Kaiser's Guild Master.

Pablo drew his bow while ordering his soldiers to start attacking in a nervous manner

But this was a mistake, as many of the attacks reached the members of the Guild, Pablo started becoming desperate at the man's actions

Then Kagito turns towards him and in seconds he is already close enough to kill Pablo, and he did as his bastard sword pierced him through his c.h.e.s.t, with a series of merciless slashes

'What is with this guy…' Is the last thought of Pablo who now seems to be in resignation with defeat, as every head of the Guild was killed in a moment and the Morale of the army was completely plummeted

"22" mutters Kagito while counting numbers as he starts hacking more lives without stopping to breath at all. Inflicting chaos to the enemy and increasing the morale of his soldiers, he would continue until his sword can't be swung anymore!

No, maybe stunned is a bit of an understatement

Ana Elizabeth, or Eliana in game, came to them one day as she went to other studios and told them that a Guild was created with the Top 3 members, and even more, she got funds from the Lord of Vastri city.

They seemed greatly interested on it, as they are low on rating because of KK Tv and proposed a contract with her.

And now, waking up of their shocked state, they start celebrating as their rating increases because of the First War in Parallel between Kaiser and Da Dragon Guilds.

But Eliana told them something before the War began.

"When Kagito dies, turn on my point of view" And she hung up.

They were puzzled at this, it might mean that she was planning something with Kagito's death, but they took note on it.

And now they understood why she said that.

He appeared in front of the enemy Commander and started killing all the important members of the enemy Guild.

Giving a roar with their blood on him as a beast.

He killed many before finally dying but the morale of Da Dragons hit rock bottom.

An Army without a Leader is just a bunch of men going towards their dead in the battlefield, even if it is a simplistic tactic, there is no way that they would be able to survive against a series of attack from a blind spot.

Many of Da Dragons' realized the fact and started taking actions on this, but the morale that went down was impossible to improve as Kagito made sure to leave them without a single head and injured the long rangers from the Guild too.

Thus, from Eliana's perspective, Da Dragons starts to crumble, many of them died and soon they forfeited the battle.

The short clash between guilds finished just like this, it might have been short, but Kagito's role was an incredibly exciting one. Going alone to the enemy's side and bringing with him destruction.

It was truly a one man against a whole army thing, and he succeeded in killing his targets too!

His wild way of fighting and seemingly strong boosts he got while killing them, and even more, the perplexity from the enemy's eyes was a sight worth seeing.

Kagito was soon nicknamed The Kamikaze as his fame grew.

Kaiser had an obliterating victory that amazed many, it might have not been the coolest war with different strategies, but the audaciousness of the leader was enough to move many different people that were watching.

KO Tv while in celebration posted an edited photo of their Hero in their homepage and outside the agency.

Kagito the Slaughter of Giants!

As we arrive to the entrance of the Dungeon we entered and saw that there was no message about being the first in there. A bit confused of that, we continued walking until we noticed that it was monster free zone. Suddenly, we could spot someone in a chair!

Alarms ring in our heads as we didn't perceive his presence.

'He' gets up and say to us in an ominous tone.

"If you wish to enter the Dungeon of Wishes, then you shall pass through me" Says the 'man' in front of me.

At this, everyone seems to be getting ready as we don't really have good experiences with people in the dark that are sitting in a leisure manner and I ask 'him'.

"Are you the guardian of the Dungeon?".

"Hmmm… no, I am not the Guardian, but I can choose who can pass and who can't" Says the 'man'.

"And what should we do to pass?" I ask 'him'.

"Well, you seem to be a reasonable one, others just started attacking head on. I will make it simple for you, survive this" he waves his hand and a gigantic wave comes towards us. I quickly react, and I 'just' annul it.

My mana hit rock bottom, my stamina go in the red and my health is down to 50%, my body rests on my knees as I am suddenly without any energy to move.

'What a terrifying attack' I thought while I couldn't really move anymore, if he attacks again it would surely dictate my death.

"… You are interesting, young man. This is the second time my attack has been nullified, well it was only an air wave but still, very impressive" Says the 'man', amus.e.m.e.nt and curiosity filled his voice.

Everyone is still on their guard and Zenith along with Isa stands in front of the weakened me.

"…And you have quite interesting companions. I shall let you all in, show me what you can do and what you wish to do, children chosen by the past" Says the ethereal 'man' while disappearing, leaving those words as a gate appears in front of us.

"Phew" I sigh and start standing up as my stamina slowly recovers even with my Fast Recovery in Intermediate level.

It seems the attack affected me way more than just completely depleting me…

"Idiot, we could have survived that" Says Arksen to me.

"I know, but I instinctively reacted" I argue back.

"Well, at least you can stand again" says Isa while sighing.

"Child, you are insane" Says Dei while adding "That was one of the most absolute beings in this world, and to challenge this place being such a weakling is almost suicide" he finishes in an amused tone.

"Almost, but not completely, and we need to complete this" I tell our fellow Sword.

Dei sighs before going back to its silent state

Thus, we walk forward, and we got the expected message

This place is where masters test themselves, but many lost their way inside and even more lost their reason why should they be here.

The Dungeon of Wishes shall be passed by the ones who truly wish to do so. Those who lose their way or die in here are sent back to the Earth Realm

The quest seems to be an obligatory one, but we are ready for it, as the monster start appearing and we begin to fight until we lost our senses, but never our purpose.

This was the place that took us months to finish.

This was the place that took our wishes and realized them as the time moved forward without us noticing them.

The differences instead of growing shorter because of the increased levels became larger, there were other names on the ranking and no name people appearing from nowhere and started heavy movements on the game but…

Their places are unmovable, truly unsurpassable beings that have claimed the top, but they still hadn't shown themselves.
