Outcast

Still reeling from the revelation about the Bloody Fang, Valoris looks up and sees the Ruins. Giant ancient buildings are overgrown by the wilderness.

Surrounding the buildings was a giant wall aged with ivy covering it completely.

"We should reach it within a couple hours if we don't run into any trouble. After that I have to report to my clan, Tomorrow I can show you the shops, and such."

Continuing towards the Ruins, the group manages to avoid most of the deranged beasts, only once having to fight with an enraged kappa as they cross a large stream. looking like a mixture of a turtle, and a salamander they like to hide in rivers pulling in small pray to drown them.

This kappa, however, was deranged and filled with an insane hatred. It immediately attacked the group. Quez dealt with it easily, She attacked by seeming to slither through the air, moving so fast she turned blurry before constricting the kappa and squeezing it to death.

Soon they arrive at one of the main gates with busy traffic going in and out from it. As the group heads inside, Valoris is shown where he can arrange for a place to stay. Quez tells him she will meet him at the general sleeping quarters in the morning before slithering away.

Following Quez's instructions towards the general sleeping quarters when a small group of drunk beasts appears ahead of him. Acting rowdy, and rude. It's clear that these three beasts regularly get drunk and cause problems. As they pass by Valoris they seem to notice him for the first time.

"Heyyy little kobold, what you doing out past your bedtime? In fact who even let a lowly creature like you in the Ruins? It's a disgrace is what it is! The Ruins is a place for beast cultivators trying to reach the peak! not some lowly lizard to hang around at. Get the hell out of here!" Yelled one of the drunks, a skinny coyote before kicking some trash at Valoris.

Emboldened by his friend, and wanting to join in the other two drunks, a jackal, and a wild dog also begin to hurl abuse at Valoris as he crawls right by them saying only.

"Arrogant wastes"

Before walking past them, Shocked by the boldness of the little kobold. The two weaker beasts egg on the coyote.

"Can you believe that little lizard? Curn are you gonna let him talk back to you like that? you gotta put him in his place!"

"Yeah! no one talks to the Scavengers like that! go beat down that guy "

Curn egged on by his two followers, smacks the tail of the kobold before saying.

"Who the hell you think you are talking to the three heirs of the Scavengers like that? All it would take is one conversation, and I could have you disappear. Never to be seen, or heard from again. If you don't want to die, you better-come beg for mercy" says Curn feeling reassured after letting Valoris know his background.

Stopping after hearing Curtin's speech, Valoris turns around shock clearly on his face before saying.

" ....Seriously? is it your life goal to play some two-bit villain or something? did you just hear yourself? I mean you are so weak that you didn't even threaten to hurt me yourselves. You have to go ask someone else to do it. If that doesn't make you a waste, I dont know what would"

Embarrassed by the clear truth behind Valoris"swords he says.

"Get him!" before trying to run towards him and tripping. Getting up and trying to find his feet, he looks at his two companions and see's they haven't moved.

"Cousin Curn, I'm sorry but I'm not suited to fight against him. I feel like I would only hinder you in a fight" says the jackal before staggering away.

"I'm afraid that my cultivation is in a special state right now, and I can't fight with my full power. I'm sorry but I will have to leave the rest to you" says the wild dog before laying down and pretending to cultivate.

"..."

"That's what you get when you hang out with the trash," remarked Valoris smiling in contempt, before walking away leaving Churn shocked, and embarrassed.

Arriving at the general sleeping quarters, he finds the official and trades a low tier piece of meat for two days. Arriving at a small shack Valoros quickly falls asleep.

"HE DID WHAT!"

" Reporting to General Nurm, his friends and him. Got drunk, trashed a restaurant, harrassed several beasts, and finally threatened to have the Scavengers tribe kill a young kobold who stood up to them."

"...bring my son here now"

" Yes General"

Several minutes later Curn is dropped from the sky landing on his face, with a vulture landing next to him.

"Owww damn uncle Turk was that necessary? dad if you wanted to see me you could have just asked"

"Shut up! let me ask you something. Are you a 3rd rate villain? some spoiled lords son? No? then who the hell told you to go act like some pampered lords son who will get killed by some hero for justice.

Tomorrow you are going to apologize to every person Turk here takes you too for your behavior. Also from now on you arent to see those two who were with you. As for the rest of your punishment haha I'm gonna leave it up to your mother"

"Too late, she is on her way"
