Valoris's body was pulsing with each heartbeat more, and more dragons blood began pumping through his body. Raising the purity of his bloodline from low mid blood to peak mid blood.

As this happened his body went through several changes. Inside his body, his heart's structure started to change becoming closer to that of a dragon's heart. His scales' colors deepened and became more vibrant.

His horns grew longer, and his scales became thicker and much more streamlined making it much more difficult to pierce them. The biggest change was to his muscles and veins.

His muscles were torn and ripped from the refinements and sparring. After the dragon blood passed through them they became tougher and thicker increasing Valoris's size by at least 30lbs.

His veins became sturdier and the blood flow inside became stronger increasing his vitality. His organs were reinforced to make it less likely that internal injuries could happen as well.

: 3 weeks later :

Valoris is waiting patiently outside of Lord Mezals cave as he was told by Gorm that Mezal had finally healed, and today he would conduct Valoris's first lesson. Three weeks of body refinement and sparring had caused a big change to Valoris's physique.

While he had only grown to 3 1/2 ft long, his muscle tone and scale toughness had increased immensely. That, plus his huge increase in vitality had allowed him to make great strides in his combat abilities. But the biggest help was the training and knowledge Gorm, and Shale had taught him.

While he still lost to Tara and Shaw, the fights lasted much longer and there were a lot more exchanges between them. Varrick had left to go on a fighting trip to help get him in peak condition for evolving.

During that time, Valoris had gotten a lot closer to Shaw, and Tala. Both were smart, unpretentious beasts who helped him whenever he struggled to learn something, often offering tips and tricks they had picked up themselves.

Suddenly Mezal comes out from his cavern. the wounds from the match with Treman had healed leaving only scars and horns with broken ends. Also, his blood purity has just barely reached a pureblood level vastly shortening the time it will take him to evolve.

"Gorm told me I brought back another little monster but seeing you now I agree with him. It's only been 3 weeks, right? Damn you are starting to put me to shame. Anyways Shale and Gorm kept me apprised of your training so I'm up to date with what you have been doing.

I'm glad you chose body refinement when you evolve you will see that it was the best decision you could have made. Suffice to say the stronger you make your body before evolving the stronger your wyrm form will be.

Don't forget though Until you reach peak pureblood do not complete your dragon heart and evolve. Your disadvantage can also be a huge advantage if used right. Since you started at the bottom If you train until being the strongest with the greatest potential before evolving each time you evolve you will be many times stronger then your peers."

"Understood, Thank you, Master, for bringing me here. Can you explain what the Blood Matches are?"

"Blood Matches consist of 3 events. The ranking you get for each event gets added to the previous events for a grand total. The one with the most points wins.

The first event is simple but also difficult. You simply have the potential pillar read how high you can evolve with your current potential. The one who has the highest potential wins. Honestly, I expect The Bloody Fang Clan to win this event as the Alpha had a daughter born a year ago who has an Ancestor level bloodline.

The next event is a simple hunting contest. the one who hunts the most wins. You can team up or go solo up to you. Final event is a fighting event. After the second event, only the top 10 are to proceed to the 3rd. There will be 5 matches for each contestant. The one with the most points wins."

"Understood, so Master I should add hunting to my training?"

"not right now, 2 more months of training then I will take you to the Greenwood Forest to hunt. The unfortunate disadvantage for dragonkin is most of us have bright vibrant scales. As such we cant sneak up on prey, so you are going to have to hunt beasts the same strength or stronger than you.

Right now I would put you just behind the geniuses from your generation. If you work hard, I mean as hard as you possibly can every day no slacking off. There is a chance that you can overturn them"

" Hard work and determination are all I have Master. But I will use it to beat everyone!" Said Valoris before heading to the Body Refining Room.

Clenching his jaw Valoris begins the " Demons Enduring Determination" Forms. Determined to finish one complete set today Valoris pushes through.

"Endure! I can take it! just gotta push through!"

Limbs shaking, lungs wheezing Valoris completes the 10th form and moves into the 11th.
