Not Like In The Movies

Pizza was delivered and the two ladies ate while cracking jokes at each other. All that was in the air was filled with laughter. ZhenZhu had long gone chosen to forget about the incident at Doctor Xiao's car in order to maintain peace. She didn't want to keep recalling those terrifying and embarrassing moments at any point as she rubbed Angel's back while Fei Shuang couldn't take her eyes off from the tv series. She didn't know how or when she became addictive to fantasy series and could spend hours without doing anything.

Before they knew it, the sky already turned dark by the time the shows were over. They actually did nothing important for half the day. Fei Shuang had the urge to pee after finishing a whole family bottle-size of coke. So, ZhenZhu assisted her to the bathroom and thought taking a bath would be nice too. Tomorrow would be a busy and fun day since the ladies gang would drop by.

*Creak*

ZhenZhu helped Fei Shuang climb the bed from the empty side making a sound when they climbed. Fei Shuang decided to take a nap and wake up at 12 in the midnight to watch her new favorite drama, THREE LIVES THREE WORLDS, THE PILLOW BOOK.

Fei Shuang dropped her tired body on the bed after creating a distance for ZhenZhu to sleep later. With a sigh, Fei Shuang pull the clean blanket as she tried to sleep. She thought she would be able to sleep since ZhenZhu no longer hold grudges against her but suddenly remembered of calling her savior.

"Shit, I should have done that earlier. Now where did i kept that piece of paper before?" Fei Shuang murmured as she arose from bed. She thought for a while before remembering she placed it at the inside the back of her phone case.

She load the numbers and cross checked before dialing the number.

It rang for seconds before it was answered, "Hello." A cold voice of a m.a.t.u.r.ed woman rang through the phone.

Fei Shuang hesitated at first with furrowed eyebrows after hearing a cold voice,

"...Hi,am i speaking to Madam Yang?"

"Yes. Who is it?" Madam Yang maintained her cold tone.

"My name is Fei Shuang. I'm the woman you saved at the jade belt road bridge. I wanted to—"

"Oh you must be Miss Fei. I'm sorry for being too blank on the phone earlier. How are you feeling now?" Madam Yang's coldness suddenly lessen and was pleasantly surprised as she realized the person on the phone was the young woman she saved.

"I'm feeling much better Madam Yang,i wanted to thank you for saving my life. From hence fort," Fei Shuang immediately followed up, "I owe you big time."

"Ahh Miss Lee, please don't speak of such words. Anyone in his right senses won't hesitate to help a dying soul. You don't owe me anything. And please call me Yang Mi, you make me feel so old by adding Madam."

"... Alright Ma— Yang Mi. Thanks once again."

"It's no big deal." Yang Mi didn't know why, but she couldn't hold herself back from asking, "Do you mind if we could meet up tomorrow?"

"...well my friends would be coming over tomorrow, how about on Friday by 2 PM?" Fei Shuang blinked a few times because she wanted to spend the whole day with the ladies. She missed them a lot lately.

"Sounds good to me. Bye Miss Lee."

"Bye." Fei Shuang hung the phone and saved Yang Mi's number before keeping the phone right next to the side-drawer.

She then dropped back on her bed and stared at the ceiling for a while before finally closing her eyes to fall asleep.

The rest of the night passed with Fei Shuang sleeping and even forgot to set an alarm for the midnight series.

7:03 AM

Getting up very early in the morning, Fei Shuang practiced the self exercise that Mr Shen taught her about yesterday since she had no appointment until tomorrow. First, she slowly help herself adjust to a sitting position on top if the bed, with eyes closed, breathes out stale air and breathes fresh air in, and then with full intention, performed the arm raises. Mr Shen explained fully on how arm raises helps to strengthen the deltoid muscles on top of one's shoulders. Next,she performed the shoulder presses exercise which helps improve one's ability to reach overhead before stopping to go out and eat.

At that time, ZhenZhu already finished making breakfast and was about to go and wash up when Fei Shuang came out from her room.

"You're up so early today. Here, breakfast." ZhenZhu smiled as she picked up an apple from the table.

"Yeah,i guess I slept up early." Fei Shuang paused after seeing a plate of fries accompanied with egg sauce then look back at ZhenZhu, "Why didn't you wake me up at midnight to watch the new series?"

"You had a busy day yesterday, so I thought it would be better if you had a sound sleep." ZhenZhu slowly chewed on a bite of apple as she dropped a mug filled with black coffee on the table for Fei Shuang.

Fei Shuang with a smile on her face, went silent after that and carefully sipped the black coffee.

After taking breakfast, ZhenZhu helped Fei Shuang take a bath and get prepared for their friends arrival. The two lazy women ordered some snacks for the visitors while waiting for their arrival.

"They're here! I'm coming!"ZhenZhu exclaimed as she rushes for the door.
