Gu Chuyan drove straight to Blue Blossom Cafe.

Blue Blossom Cafe was situated right in the center of S City in its most prosperous district. It was said that the boss of this cafe had an extremely powerful background. The cafe patrons were all individuals with high statuses.

“May I ask who you are?” The attendant hurriedly ran forward to welcome Gu Chuyan when she arrived and asked for her identity.

“I’m from the Gu family,” Gu Chuyan said.

The attendant was stunned for a moment when she heard this. “You’re Young Lady Gu’s younger sister, right? This way please.”

Gu Miaoting had already told the attendant she was coming. Gu Chuyan found that funny. When did Gu Miaoting become Young Lady Gu? All she did was change her surname. Did she really think she was part of the Gu family?

Gu Chuyan walked into the cafe. The cafe was packed with people! Gu Miaoting was standing in front of a floor-to-ceiling mirror and was sipping a cup of coffee. She seemed to be in deep thought.

“Why did you want to see me?” Gu Chuyan walked over and got straight to the point.

Gu Miaoting smiled gently when she heard Gu Chuyan’s voice. She turned around elegantly. The long black dress she was wearing accentuated her tall and slender figure perfectly.

“I’m really sorry for what happened this morning. Hence, to apologize to you, I will treat you to coffee.” Gu Miaoting walked forward and pulled Gu Chuyan’s arm intimately.

Gu Chuyan evaded her instinctively. She took half a step back.

“Don’t touch me,” she whispered. Her gaze was filled with coldness.

Gu Miaoting didn’t get angry when she noticed Gu Chuyan’s reaction. She just lowered her head and moved closer.

“Actually, I wanted to let you try something fun yesterday. But you got drunk and ran away,” Gu Miaoting bent down and whispered into Gu Chuyan’s ear.

Her words slammed into Gu Chuyan’s heart forcefully.

She knew her cup of water was swapped yesterday and she guessed that the culprit was Gu Miaoting. However, she didn’t expect her plan to be like this.

“Slap.” Gu Chuyan raised her hand and slapped Gu Miaoting furiously.

Then she reached out to grab Gu Miaoting’s hair. She threw her to the side. Gu Miaoting didn’t resist. There was a faint smile at the corner of her lips.

“Gu Chuyan, you asked for it,” Gu Miaoting said in a soft voice. Gu Chuyan didn’t know what she meant.

She only saw an attendant rushing forward in an attempt to stop their fight.

Gu Miaoting suddenly stood up straight and held Gu Chuyan’s hand. She pushed her hands towards the attendant. Gu Chuyan lost her balance and stepped back. Gu Miaoting pushed the attendant then raised her leg to kick the coffee cup beside her. The coffee cup rolled beside the attendant.

“Ah!” The attendant staggered back and stepped on the coffee cup. She fell backward.

No one expected the floor-to-ceiling window Gu Miaoting was standing in front of to be open. When the attendant fell backward, she dropped down.

This was the 28th floor. Anyone who fell down from that height would end up dead.

“Gu Chuyan killed someone!” Gu Miaoting exclaimed in astonishment as she pointed at Gu Chuyan.

This scene happened suddenly so no one saw what happened clearly. However, everyone saw the attendant falling.

Since Gu Miaoting was pointing at Gu Chuyan now, everyone naturally thought that Gu Chuyan was the culprit.

“Hurry up and call the police.”

“I didn’t push her. Quick, save her.” Gu Chuyan was so frightened her knees went weak. She didn’t know that the window was open!
