Naruto - Neglected Sage

During the first three years of their journey Naruto and Hinata had developed tremendously.

To estimate their current level, Hinata would be High Jounin in her newly developed Taijutsu that was a mix Copeira, Taichi, and Gentle fist, low Jounin for Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu, non existent in Fuinjutsu and in terms of chakra level she was Low Jounin.

Naruto on the other hand would be Low Kage level in both Ninjutsu, and Taijutsu, Jounin in Genjutsu and Semi-Master Level at Fuinjutsu, and as for Chakra level he would have half a tails worth in his base form and could increase more depending in how much nature energy he wants to absorb.

It wasn't easy getting to their level, but it wasn't that hard either especially when you can pop up as many Shadow clones as you can.

Though if we were to be realistic, they're current levels would only amount to high chuunin. Since their bodies are far from it's prime and is still in the early phase of its development. They also lack experience in high level battles, so experienced Jounin could easily out class them in a head to head confrontation.

So to gain some experience they took on some bounty hunting jobs which coincidentally funded their journey as well.

Said 'jobs' were labeled high C rank to low B rank bounties. They had a hard time at first, especially when they took their first kill. But, due to supporting each other they got through every obstacle.

There were a lot of 'incidents' that put them through life and death situations, like the time they helped a priestess that looked like Hinata, or when they escorted a famous actress to the land of snow, or when they saved the moon kingdom's princess from assassination, and lastly when they coincidentally got dragged into a defensive battle against Sound when they helped a green haired girl in Waterfall. Every time they went through such missions they only got stronger.

As for their training, Hinata's talent bloomed, although she struggled at the beginning since she had very low stamina and chakra. However, due to Naruto's restraint seals, gravity seals, hell like training, and support that went beyond friendship. She endured, and could then use at least 15 Shadow clones without getting tired.

She would train in her newly founded style 'Storm Fist' everyday with her clones, as her real body went through harsh body tempering with Naruto. When her clones increased to 25, she would have 10 of them master her new style, 5 focus on Chakra control, 5 on ninjutsu, and another 5 for Genjutsu.

Naruto trained using a lot more clones than Hinata. He made them practice the 'Iron fist style martial arts' he learned from a monk named Jin, tried to create a ethereal sword like jutsu with Nature chakra, Made them walk on waterfalls for chakra control, Master the Genjutsu 'False Darkness' and study Fuinjutsu and Kenjutsu. While his real body took on the role of training/body tempering with Hinata.

Thought he wasn't as talented as her, he still caught up due to a lot of stamina, unrivaled strength and an almost unlimited supply of Nature Chakra due to his Kekkei Genkai awakening. The Natural Sage body. It strengthened his body, organs, and bones to almost unimaginable levels. At first the changes were subtle, but after the past few months he found himself getting smarter, stronger, and a lot more faster than before, his skin also hardened or rather it's density increased. Although it was squishy(baby fat) to touch and smooth like hell (much to the dismay of Hinata). It had actually became harder than steel and just kept on getting harder and smoother the more natural energy he absorbs. His senses also greatly improved as everything that has chakra in a 800meter radius could be detected immediately.

It actually scared him when he thought his strength gain wouldn't stop. But it turns out it was needless worry as his body stabilized after the two and a half years. He could now control the absorption of Natural energy, the only limit is his psych or in layman's terms control over himself before he goes Hulk on everyone. Which is currently 4 tails worth of chakra in Bijuu terms. Anymore than 4 tails and he goes berserk.

He also discovered that his chakra system no longer produces ordinary chakra but nature chakra itself. Of course because of his large chakra pool his chakra control plummeted like a rock. However, by utilizing 365 Shadow clones he was able to perfectly control his chakra after a few months. The only people who had better chakra control than him would be Hinata and Tsunade.

Half a year later and they had already mastered all their skills and created new ones. Thanks to good ol' Shadow clones.

Naruto thought his proficiency with Fuinjutsu was enough to remove Hinata's caged bird seal. However, just to make sure Naruto suggested they go to the ruins of Uzushiogakure where a whole village of seal master's used to live. Hinata immediately agreed as she was sick and tired in trying to hide her damn seal. She also promised herself that when her seal was removed, she would finally confess her love to Naruto.

Uzushiogakure one and a half year before their return to Konoha;

Naruto and Hinata had just arrived at the shore of Uzushio. They had trouble getting past the whirlpools that surrounded the place. But with a little ingenuity in using wind chakra, Naruto was able to float over and arrive at the place.

Naruto and Hinata was amazed at how beautiful the scenery was.

"So this is where my ancestors used to live" said Naruto.

"It's beautiful Naruto-kun" said Hinata as she gazed at the islands wild life with her Byakugan on. However, she froze for a moment when she saw the ruins of a ones great city.

Naruto saw her freeze and asked what happened worriedly. Then she told her about the ruins a kilometer away from them.

"Good job, Hinata-chan" he said "Let's go"

The blonde boy and the lavender haired girl quickly made their way through the forrest and landed at the once great entrance of Uzushio.

They were surprised at what they saw when they entered the gates, a tower that greatly resembled the Hokage tower was standing at the center of the village unscathed, unlike all the ruined buildings around it. Said tower still looked brand new.

They got close to it and Hinata went towards the entrance to investigate. However, when she got near the door, multiple seals all over the building activated, Hinata jumped back in panic. But suddenly a huge pillar of lightning rivalling an S rank jutsu fired from the tower towards Hinata.

"Hinata!!!" shouted Naruto in worry, and immediately used wind chakra enforcement to boost his speed an got infront of Hinata.

The huge bolt of lightning, struck Naruto and Hinata shouted in worry. "NARUTO!!!!"

The blonde used a thin concentrated wind shield to block the attack, but it didn't even slow it down and he was struck screaming in pain. "Gaaaahhhh!!" His enhanced body manage to survive. But that wasn't the end, the seals grew brighter and the stream of lightning continued and even got stronger by the second. Naruto's enhanced skin that barely manage to hold the lightning had started to get charred, as he screamed in an even greater pain and kneeled to the ground still protecting Hinata from behind. He was starting to loose consciousness, he was starting to black out. But, then he suddenly heard the voice of his beloved person and he snapped back up. He looked at Hinata's crying face and thought 'I can't die here!' he stood back up 'I still have a promise to fullfil, to become Hokage, to be prove to my 'family' that I don't need them, to free Hinata-chan from her clan's seal, and..... to finally confess my love to her!"

Naruto put his left hands forward and begun to absorb the lightning, his eyes morphed to silver with 4 concentric lines as information of unheard of skills rushed through him, but he ignored it for the time being. He was no longer getting electrocuted, but the steady absorption of chakra is overloading his system.

He had an idea but was worried of the outcome, he looked at Hinata and gained a bit of confidence in her beautiful eyes. He no longer hesitated, he used his other hand to pull her towards him. Then he told her to hold on, which she complied with. He reached out both hands forward, digged deep and concentrated all the chakra he absorbed and shouted "SHINRA TENSEI!"

ZUUUUUUDDDDDOOOOOOOONNNN!!!!

The technique leveled Uzushiogakure, but surprisingly the tower still stood there missing 3/4th of its total size. The seals were destroyed and had no signs of reactivating once more.

Naruto made sure that Hinata was safe, before he succ.u.mbed to unconsciousness.
