Naruto - Neglected Sage

It has been a month since Naruto reactivated his Rinnegan and leveled Uzushiogakure. The first week, he was taken care of by Hinata since he had sustained injuries that could've killed any normal Kage level Shinobi. He was only alive because of his high speed regeneration. Though the incident wasn't all that bad since the lightning sorta tempered his body more removing all his useless fats, making him stronger and more flexible. They were also granted access to the tower. Or more specifically it's vault which was thankfully in the bas.e.m.e.nt. Though Hinata didn't want to get near it, not until Naruto recovered.

The door was jam packed with a lot of seals. They thought it could be another bobby trap, Hinata wanted to leave it be. But, Naruto didn't want to leave empty handed. Especially, since the answer to her beloved's freedom might be in that vault.

So he investigated it, with patience and a week's time of research. He discovered that the door had a strong preservation seal on it, a royal blood recognition seal, and a self destruct mechanism capable of sinking Uzushio that would be triggered by any Non-uzumaki.

Naruto sweatdropped at his ancestors cautiousness. Thankfully Hinata herself didn't want to get anywhere near the door, otherwise they would've been blasted to kingdom come.

He discovered the unlocking seal or more like the core seal after another week of research. He planned to absorb the seal by using his Preta path, but he discovered a fail safe in it that if such a thing was done. It would've destroyed the contents of the vault. However, further inspection to the core seal and he discovered it was a royal Uzumaki blood recognition seal.

He knew his 'Mother' Kushina was the Princess of Uzushiogakure, so if his theory was correct then he should be able to unlock the vault. Which he did and discovered a lot of scrolls, pertaining Nin, Tai, Gen, Ken, Fuin, and Kin jutsus. Weapons of different kinds, history of the clan, and the riches of all Uzushio, though it wasn't that much since they spent most of it in preparation for the war which wiped the whole clan. But it could still set a large clan like the Hyuuga, Senju, or former Uchiha for 2 generations.

After that Hinata and Naruto upped their training by a few notches.

Hinata who could now manifest more than 50 clones focused in his Taijutsu, Control, Genjutsu and her newly added Medical Ninjutsu. She couldn't help but feel useless when she couldn't heal Naruto and it pained her to see him suffer that's why she decided to take up the art. Before, all she new was a simple combination of herbs to make an ointment. But with the help of the Uzumaki ancient library scrolls, 'her' Naruto's deep explaination and understanding (*cough* Rinnegan) she was able to learn advance class of healing jutsus. Though it still did not rival Tsunade's skills it was still close enough.

As for Naruto, he discovered that his Rinnegan is able to see chakra, as well as its flow within the body and the activated tenketsu of the Eight Gates, but cannot see through obstructions such as smoke bombs which isn't really a problem since he was a chakra sensor. He was also able to master and have perfect understanding of any Jutsu he wanted to learn from any element, and perfectly decipher scrolls, and ancient tablets.

The Rinnegan also gave him perfect control of his chakra no matter how large, and could now break any kind of Genjutsu, even the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Though granted he destroys the Chakra Tree first. If not he would only counter the effects, and the Genjutsu wouldn't affect him.

The Rinnegan also grants a family of abilities collectively known as the Six Paths Technique: control over attractive and repulsive forces with the Deva Path; to mechanise one's body with the Asura Path; soul weaponization by forging it into a Zanpakuto the Soul Path; the menagerie of summons available to the Animal Path; chakra absorption through the Preta Path; and access to the King of Hellthrough the Naraka Path.

There is also the seventh ability, the Outer Path, that is said to allow the user to preside over life and death, granting the ability to revive the dead. The user is also able to summon and control the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path(Gedo statue), as well as manifest chakra chains to bind the tailed beasts. (Source: Google-sensei)

Also, unlike a transplanted Rinnegan. Naruto is able to use his Paths in one body. He could also share his visions with his clones and have a telephatic like link with them giving him information in real-time, effectively removing the back lash of the Kage bunshin when it dispells.

Naruto perfected his current techniques with his Rinnegan and was even able to remove some of their flaws and improve the techniques, a thousand of his clones focused on the iron fist style martial arts, Fuinjutsu removal, and Zanpakuto training, while his real body mostly trained in his Rinnegan and its Paths.

Another year has passed and Naruto and Hinata had advanced tremendously once more.

Hinata was now Low kage level in Taijutsu and Elite Jounin level over all, except Fuinjutsu which was beginner level.

Naruto on the other hand was now High Kage level overall, matching and in some areas even surpassing Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha in their prime. Especially when he releases his Zanpakuto's Shikai form(Yamato-Devil Bringer) and Bankai form(Yamato Nelo Angelo-Devil Trigger). Which he only recently discovered(Bankai) a few weeks ago.

They had removed Hinata's Bird cage seal half a month upon unlocking the vault, and stored the riches of the Uzumaki clan in Naruto's proud invention the Inventory bracelets. Their training had also stagnated due to lack of opponents.

But they didn't leave Uzushio yet. Because Naruto and Hinata had yet to fulfill their most hardest task; Confessing to one another.

On the beach of Uzushiogakure;

Naruto and Hinata were walking down the shore. Both kept on stealing glances from one another until they eventually made eye contact.

"Uhm, Hinata-chan" said Naruto as he blushed like a tomato when Hinata's eyes focused on him as they stopped walking. 'Be a man and confess your love God damn it' he thought.

"Yes, Naruto-kun?" asked Hinata shyly. She had been planning on confessing to Naruto ever since he removed her caged bird seal. But, although she had built up resistance against Naruto's charm, she would still blush like a strawberry when she started to overthink about it and faint when it came to the actual task.

Naruto felt like his heart was going to burst, since it kept on beating strongly. Hinata wasn't doing any better as her consciousness started to fade. But both held on as they wanted to see this through.

""I Love You"" both said at the same time, which greatly shocked them. Then their words sinked in and both blushed like crazy.

Hinata staggered a bit before she couldn't take it anymore and her consciousness left her and fainted. Naruto who saw this panicked and immediately moved to catch her.

He sat down on the sandy beach while he laid Hinata on his l.a.p. He c.a.r.e.s.sed her hair and moved some of it from her face to the back of her ear. Giving him a better view of her lovely face. Hinata begun to stir, and then opened her eyes. She felt the brightness of the moon so she moved her hand towards her eyes covering them. "So it was only a dream" She said absentmindedly "But it felt so real"

"What was?" asked Naruto

"I finally confessed to Naruto-kun and he said he loved me too. I wanted to hug him, but I fainted" she said with a pout and a tinge of sadness. While Naruto blushed like crazy, as he felt a rush of emotions. He did the only logical thing he could think of..... he gently lifted her off his l.a.p and hugged her lovingly.

Hinata who was engulfed in a hug, finally noticed she wasn't dreaming and had absentmindedly said all those things to her crush. She was about to take another trip to dream land when she heard something that woke her up completely.

"Hinata-chan, I love you, because ever since the day we met. It took one look from your lovely eyes for me to fall for you, I love you, because you saved me from depression when my family ignored me and showed me kindness by staying by my side, I love you, because your earnest in improving yourself for the better even after your family abandoned you, I love you, because your one of the most hard-working person I've ever met, I love you, because you showed me the beauty of the world beyond a family, I Love You, because you are my best friend, And I Love You, because you gave me the one thing I've always wanted a Family" confessed Naruto as he moved a step back to see Hinata's happy smile as tears started to fall from her face.

Naruto got worried for a sec and was about to say something, but he was cut off when Hinata embraced him in a hug and stole his lips in a kiss.

After a good two minutes of kissing they reluctantly moved their lips a part and Hinata said with determination "I Love You too Naruto"
