Lincoln was in a sweet dream with his beloved wife, Sophie Blevins. In his dreams he was dreaming about his daughter's beautiful wedding, his 'cupcake' in a beautiful white dress, looking just like an angel from heaven. But his beautiful dream was interrupted by a chime on his phone.

He frowned, he was unhappy that someone had taken away his chance to even imagine his daughter's wedding. He as surprised to find that the sender was Jess herself.

His thoughts went wild ' Did something happen to cupcake, she never texted me this late before. I hope she is fine' thinking about all the possible reasons to make Jess contact him at this hour night, he opened the text and was stunned after reading the contents of the message.

'Dad, I agree to your arrangements. I will meet him and do as you wish. Let me know the time and place. Thanks dad. Goodnight'

"Sophie dear, Sophie please get up. See this"

"What ... is .. it ....." In a half sleepy voice Jess's mom, Sophie replied as she sat up. She was clearly not happy that her husband had disturbed her in the middle of the night.

"See Jess just sent this text. Please read the message out loud for me. I think I am thinking too much" He pushed his cell phone towards her and urged her to read it.

She pouted but in the end her curiosity took the best of her and she read the message.

"She said she will go on blind date" She said this plainly. After a minute, as if a thought strike her, her eyes went wide in surprise. She turned towards Lincoln and repeated, "She said she will go on blind date" with much more enthusiasm.

"Lin, she you are not dreaming she really did agree this time" She hugged him in excitement.

"Oh, I will have to make a lot of arrangements. I am so happy"

"Yes dear. I will contact George tomorrow and fix the engagement date with him."

The couple was very satisfied and happy with their daughter's decision and made plans for the official meeting with the in-law.

The next day, George was very happy after learning Jess's decision. He did not know how to change his son's decision. He first thought about calling him and asking him about his decision but then decided against it. His wife, Lina Parker was coming back today. Lina was an international model and she was abroad shooting an advertis.e.m.e.nt campaign.

Lina met George during the shooting of an advertis.e.m.e.nt campaign. Back then he was a rising star and recognized talent among all the directors, where as Lina is a beauty which captivated his heart. Their love story was a classic love at first sight.

John arrived at the airport right on time to pick up his mom and probably spend some time with her.

After ten minutes later he noticed an entourage exiting the V.I.P gate. He immediately recognized his mother, Lina Parker in the middle. He was instructing her assistant about some matters and quickly dismissed them. They have made sure that reporters had no news about her return timings and flight details to make sure she is safe.

As soon as she spotted John, she had a warm smile on her face.

"Hello mom"

"Hello son" He hugged his mom.

"Lets go and have a chat on the way"

"Yes sure, I am very tired. I would love to grab a cup of latte on the way"

He chuckled, "As you say, we will have some latte and snacks"

They went to a coffee and beverage house. John ordered his mom's favorite Pumpkin spice Latte and ordered Vanilla Latte for himself. He collected the drinks and offered the drink to her.

"Here your favorite"

Mrs. Parker had a smile on her face, "Hmm, It's delicious as always"

"How long will you stay here this time? Dad will be here for a few months this time"

"Hmm I know. I have some endors.e.m.e.nt and advertis.e.m.e.nt shoot scheduled here, so I will be here. I am planning on working from here now on"

He raised his eyebrows in surprise. Lina Parker was a very famous international model and her saying that she would work only in one city was a huge news.

"I know it is a huge thing but this is what I have decided. I have traveled all around the world with your father and now I want to stay in one place. I will not quit my job because I love it, but I will tone it down"

"I respect your decision. Lets get going. I bet dad must be worried"

The ride back home was very silent. Lina discussed with her husband about talking John into marrying. She sighed thinking about the topic.

Seeing his mother sighing, he asked "Is something bothering you?"

"Yes can you help me out I do not know what to do"

"Sure"

"Can you find yourself a good wife? I will be very happy for you"

"Yes mom. I have found someone suitable"

"Did you really? Your dad said he did arrange a blind date for you. I don't mind you finding someone better. I will ask him to not bother with the blind date"

"I want to go on the date which dad has arranged for me. She is the one I have found quite suitable to me"

Mrs. Parker was surprised beyond belief "Really? It is good then she is an angel. I will ask George to set it up as soon as possible"

When they reached home, George was happy to listen to his son's decision.

"It is really fated. Jessica agreed to the blind date this morning and John also agreed to it. Nothing could be better than this"

John had incomprehensible emotions. 'She agreed to the blind date but why?' It was not that he was sad that she had agreed to it, what he wanted to know was why had she suddenly said yes to it.

'Does she already know that it is me? She wants to marry me for fame?' He had all the weird thoughts going around his mind. His mood turned sour for a while. Then she shook his head 'Nope she is not that type of person, she must have just agreed to her father's request' He tried to put on a smile and waited for the potential date. He had decided to get answers to all his questions by her on the day.
