My Sunshine: Glad To Find You

John did not like socializing with people so he chose to behave indifferently at office, even with Jess. But now it seemed like he had to change his ways and make more opportunities for them to meet and interact with each other. 

On the other side of the city, at the c.o.n.d.o.minium, Jessica's place.

A sound of the phone ringing filled the silence in the place.

"Hey Jess, you are so mean. It has been so long and you do not even care about me any more," the person on the other end started complaining.

A small chuckle escaped from Jess' mouth, "I am really sorry for not being able to meet any sooner but I cannot really help it too. My new boss is a complete workaholic but you know what, I am free today so lets meet up. What do you say, Rosie?"

Rose Baker was Jessica's best friend, or rather, her only friend. Rose was friends with Jess since childhood. They were neighbours before the Baker family chose to move to a different neighbourhood. Nonetheless, their friendship was intact and they were inseparable from each other. Rose was an air hostess and was away from the city most of the days. 

"Let me think about it."

"Okay, take your time. But I don't know where you will fly off to this time and how long you will be away. Then do not blame..."

" Yes. I will listen to you just this one time." Rose said with a smile on her face, "After all, you will have to compensate me for being away for all these years."

Jess: " So where are we going to meet?"

Rose: "Our regular place for meetups."

Jess: "Okay then. Lets meet after an hour."

They ended the call and went ahead to get ready. Jess was doing some work on her tablet when she received the call from Rose so she decided to finish a part of the reports before going out.

Outside Jazz.

Jazz was very popular for being the safest club and bar where hardly any ruckus took place due to the strict security. It was because of this that many famous celebrities also frequented the place.

Jess was waiting for her friend outside. She was donning an all black short dress which hugged her body at the perfect places showing her beautiful curves and hourglass figure. She wore matching black six centimetres heels and golden-black hoop earrings. She styled her in a side part which hung lose covering her b.a.r.e shoulders. She looked stunning.

"Jess!"

Jess looked up to find Rose walking towards her. She wore a short maroon color dress which went down till her mid t.h.i.g.h area. As Rose was an air hostess, she had a perfect slim figure and a good sense of makeup and fashion. She was taller than Jess, so she wore heels that were not much high so as to match height with Jess.

They hugged each other and went inside the club. 

Jess: "You look pretty as usual."

Rose: "Not as good as you look today."

"I see someone has changed a lot here,"  Jess teased.

Rose laughed, "Stop with all these already. How have you been?"

Jess: " Just doing fine. My new boss is pretty workaholic and the best thing is, he does not even want to see my face."

Rose: "Are you crazy? Your boss is so handsome that he decided to not meet anyone. You are his secretary so you should try to talk with him more. So how do you work without him giving you instructions in person?"

Jess: "I have an tablet and I work on it. I cannot give you any other information and yes, he is handsome but I probably do not care any more." 

Rose did not say anything further. She knew exactly why Jess was here. She left everything abroad and came back here because of a certain someone.

"Lets just get ourselves drunk and party late into the night."

"Yes, Rose. Lets forget all about our worries tonight!"

The girls had a good time drinking and chatting for a long time. They danced around the dance floor a bit.

Jess: "I will be back from the restroom."

Rose: "Wait. I will accompany you."

"Nah I am okay. You should rather sit here and strike up a conversation with that guy. His eyes has been set on you ever since we got here," saying so, Jess left with a wink.

Rose: "Okay. Come back sooner."

After getting refreshed and touching up her make up Jess left the restroom. Aside from the open club, there were also many private rooms which were all connected by a long corridor. So it was quite a long walk to reach the restrooms located at the end of the corridor.

Ever since Jess left the restroom she felt restless and uneasy. She felt a pair of eyes following her around. When she turned around to see if there was anything suspicious, there was nothing. She thought it was the effect of alcohol and tried to shake off the weird feeling but everything was in vain. She started walking faster in an attempt to immediately leave the place.

As she was passing by a private room, the door of the room suddenly opened and a man grabbed her wrists from behind and pulled Jess inside the room. Everything was so fast that she could not understand was happening. She was pushed against the door inside the door and the man locked the room with his other hand. When Jess tried to shout and protest, the man covered her mouth and said, "Jess, don't be like this. It's me." 

Jess finally looked up to see the face of the man. It was him. She was so busy thinking about how to escape that it was only now that she saw the face of the person who had dragged her in here.
